CHAPTER TWO

Siwon caressed the pictures of the three women that Kyuhyun had sent him. All of them were perfect: well-educated, smart and beautiful. Then why did they go to an agency to get a temporary husband? There must be something.

Candidate number one, Lucy…without surname. According to the inform, she was a Laws student in second year and she had the typical studies debts. She liked Arts. Siwon looked at her picture again and her resemblance with Vicky was amazing. Kyuhyun had thought of everything, he also included the measures and weight of her at the end of the page.

Candidate number two: Jane…again without surname. She was a doctor´s assistant at a clinic; she was preparing herself to enter to Medicine. She loved sailing and exotic places. She had travelled to many countries overseas.

Finally candidate number three: Kate…Siwon didn´t bother to find her surname. He knew it wouldn´t appear in any place. She was very attractive, blue deep eyes, beautiful blonde hair, tall and pretty smile that could leave breathless to any person. She looked like a model. She didn´t go to the university but she was on charge of a nursing home and a club for girls and boys.

The three were perfect. Then why did he have the feeling that none of them fit? He sighed and made a phone call.

“Well Mike, what did you have for me?” he said when his assistant picked up the phone.

“I still have some phone calls without answers but I have found a lot of interesting information about Mr. Cho Kyuhyun”

“Great! Bring me all you´ve got”

Siwon approached to the big window of his office and observed the city. Being on charge of a sea transportation business from four different points of the world took advantage over his competitors. He had succeeded in his enterprise by his own merits, in spite of his father´s disapproval. Siwon wanted to show him that he didn´t need his money or his title. However, his surname Choi had been useful to open some doors through the years, and looking down on the big heritage wasn´t something to give up, especially now that his father has many years dead.

Mike entered to his office holding some papers. Siwon looked at him and told him to let the papers on his desk. Both took a seat and Mike started.

“Cho Kyuhyun, twenty seven years old, born in Seoul, son of Cho Kyung Po and Cho Yoona”  

“Why do those names seem to be familiar?” Siwon was curious.

“They should be. Cho Kyung Po was a rich man years ago but he was accused of tax evasion and embezzlement. He and his family lived in a mansion of twenty million dollars and they had properties in France and Hawaii”.

Siwon remembered it. The big business man from Seoul had built his fortune through a gigantic swindle. He signed insurance policies for houses, land, business and different properties with victims who didn´t suspect anything and to whom he didn´t want to pay them not a dollar. Siwon also remembered that  the federals couldn´t discover the corruption but they sent him to jail for tax evasion. His accounts and all his properties were confiscated and his whole family fell down.

“Cho Yoona, the wife, couldn´t accept the new reality of losing her status that took a box of pills and never woke up. According to the press, Kyuhyun´s sister tried to follow her mother´s example and suffered brain damage. I´m investigating where his sister is right now. Kyuhyun could survive to this situation but he quit the university. What he has gotten is all to pay his sister´s center” Mike finished the inform giving to Siwon a list of names.

“What´s this?” Siwon asked.

“It is the people that Mr. Cho Kyuhyun relates with. Grow up surrounded by rich people has given to him some friendship that have lasted through the time. The adults cut off any bound that tied to the Cho´s, but not Kyuhyun´s friends. This list includes very rich people. I don´t know how Kyuhyun found out things about your past but I have a pending call”

Siwon saw all the pages and finally found a picture of the family when they were still happy. He couldn´t help but remember his own family in a similar picture.

“And I thought that my family was dysfunctional” Siwon muttered after seeing similitudes in Kyuhyun´s family.

“I think Mr. Cho´s family gets the prize” Mike said.

“Where does Mr. Cho live?” Siwon suddenly blurted out.

“He pays the rent in a house at Wangang” Mike answered.

“Any roommate?” Siwon suddenly seemed very interested in that man.

“It is difficult to know”

“A girlfriend?” Siwon blurted out again really interested in the answer that Mike might give him.

Mike gave him a curious look because Siwon seemed to be very interested with all the information he was giving to him …why? Is he really asking that?

“I haven´t found it out yet but I will” suddenly Mike received a phone call. He talked with the person through the phone while Siwon looked at the papers about Kyuhyun looking very interested in his life. When Mike ended the phone call he asked curiously.

“What was that phone call about?”

“It´s about his sister, Mr. Cho Kyuhyun really needs you as a client”

“Yes? Why?”

“His sister is a long-term patient at BlueLight, an adult’s center that costs more than six digits a year”

Siwon got pale. “And does anyone help Mr. Cho to pay that quantity?”

Mike shook his head. “Nobody that I know, maybe his friends can advise him but his only way of income is his enterprise”

An enterprise that Siwon had already investigated and knew till the minimum detail.

“Interesting…pretty interesting” Siwon commented.

“And how is he?” this is the first personal question that Mike did to Siwon.

Siwon visualized his pale skin, his brown doe eyes, and that voice…Oh God! With only remember his voice he wanted to talk to him again.

“He is a business man, you would like him” Siwon finally answered.

Keep everything under control was his job, so when Choi Siwon insisted in having dinner with him in order to discuss the possible candidates for his future wife, Kyuhyun imagined different scenarios.

Maybe Siwon had recognized some of the girls, or he had related one face with a name. Kyuhyun always forgot to include surnames so this way his clients learnt to value the merits of every woman keeping in mind their attributes, not their families´s. He himself had to suffer that the people judge him by his parents´s actions. He even thought about changing his name or his color hair. At the end, he decided to move on and avoid the press, and it worked. It seemed that the mass media had forgotten about him now.

What did Choi Siwon want to talk about? Maybe he talked to his lawyers and needed the details that weren´t in the papers he gave to him. Well he will find it out soon in the dinner.

Kyuhyun parked his car in one of the most expensive restaurants of the city. His old car seemed to be out of place surrounded by luxurious cars.

When he entered to the restaurant, the delicious smell of food overwhelmed his senses. He hadn´t been in a five stars restaurant since a year ago when one of his clients got happily married. Since a long time ago, he had given up to expensive restaurants and luxurious lifestyle from his past, but sometimes he missed them.

Kyuhyun searched the figure of Siwon everywhere. When he saw him, Siwon went for him and pointed a table to sit down. The same than the first meeting, Kyuhyun could realize that Siwon was really handsome; dressing in a perfect suit seemed to fill the whole space by himself. Kyuhyun couldn´t help but feel shivers go down his spine; his whole body seemed to shake with his strong presence.

Siwon, by his own, looked over Kyuhyun´s body and he couldn´t help but smirk. Kyuhyun had chosen a simple suit not informal but not elegant either. Judging Siwon´s expression, Kyuhyun had
