The sky is now dark when Luhan wakes up. It is not due to the time of the day, but due to the rain that is threatening to fall any moment now. He looks over the side of the bed but saw no familiar tall boy with poker face when he open his eyes. He can't help but to feel a little empty inside but a noise coming from the door revealing Sehun with some sort of bag. 

 

"Uhm.... sorry for waking you up. Suho hyung ask me to at least bring you your supply." Sehun places the bag on the table beside Luhan which he gladly took.

 

"What will happen if you don't drink your blood supply?" Sehun asks the vampire.

 

"It'll makes us weak when we don't drink blood that comes from people and also, it cannot let us heal in the normal process that vampires usually do. Why did you asks suddenly?" Luhan decided not to drink his supply yet since the younger is still there. 

 

"Nothing. Isn't it much better if you drink from an alive person and not from just mere blood bag?" He inquires Luhan.

 

"That is what we normally do but we don't have choice since we cannot give in to our crave on flesh once it starts. There is a tendency to make our prey blood drained. We want to avoid too much risks here you know." He saw the other nods with mouth slightly ajar. He notice the pale skin he has with that long neck of his when he nods. 

 

"Uhm.. could you... please leave me for a while. I want to drink now and its kind of awkward if you'll just watch me.." 'and kind of provoking if I must say.' Luhan stutters at his words while warning himself from plunging to Sehun.

 

"Ooohh.... oh. Sorry. I guess see you outside hyung. Bye." Sehun saw the evident fangs of Luhan with a tint of red eyes. He now make his way outside where others are.

 

After few hours more...

 

"Are you okay now Kris?" Suho asks the tall blond man.

 

"A littler perhaps. Have Xiumin went out already?" Kris was also worried about the little Vampire since yesterday.

 

"Actually, not yet. Sehun has been the one checking him but never had the chance to persuade the man to go out." Chanyeol explains.

 

"It's already late afternoon but yet, he still inside his room." Lay answered. 

 

"Let me go get him." Kris stands up and decided to pursue the other to go outside his room. He also felt guilty of what he said to the other out of anger and frustration.

 

When the vampire doesn't show any sign of response, he let himself in since the other doesn't want to open up the door for him. Upon entering the room, he first noticed the temperature drops but there is no trace of ice or frozen things everywhere. It is just cold. Then he saw the familiar male from the veranda in which he stay still while there are some spark of blue light and frost around him, indicating he is using his powers out of boredom. Whatever the male was doing before was left hidden to him 'coz it seems that the other have felt hiso presence.

 

"Hey..... I just wanna check if you're still...uhmm... alive? Glad you are since Chen would pester me if you don't. Aaannd.... I also want to say sorry for adding to your burden yesterday. I guess I flared up just like what you did when Chen went missing." Kris rubs his nape apologetically.

 

"I.it's not all your fault really. I really flare up like that every time I messed up. You know it and its not that the first time I am like this." Xiumin turns around and face him.

 

"I think all of us breakdown sometimes huh? I really wish this chaos will stop soon." Kris now stand next to him.

 

"Tao showed me his vision works and from what I've seen, it was just the start. I saw Bambam leaves, the situation where the trio is, a familiar place and many images that are not that good. Although Tao assures me that the three are just doing fine, he shouldn't push himself to that extend." Xuimin sighs.

 

"Well, you know how stubborn he is right? Once he decided on something, he will surely push it through.." Kris added. 

 

"So how was he?" the peach haired vampire asks.

 

"Luhan told me that he had put his ability to stop. Lay and Suho said that it really pushed his body at the limit and also his cognitive part, so it wouldn't be that long for him to regain his consciousness so far. We need the correct herbs that grew rarely to make him wake up and apparently, they don't know where to find it." Kris leans his elbows on the railings and looks towards him.

 

"So, he will stay like that for a while huh?" Feeling guilt taken over the frost man, Kris tries to assure him everything will be fine by patting his shoulders. 

 

"I guess. There is also a tendency for him to not remember anything since he was more damage on the cognitive part." Kris gaze through the gloomy sky wherein it matches the atmosphere around the house and the people around it. 

 

"If a herb is needed for him to wake up and be cured, I would be the one who need to get it." Xiumin said in determination. 

 

"Yup...but apparently, D.O's the only one who specializes in different kinds if herbs which we need to know where they are to help Tao." Kris said to him.

 

"I might now where they are exactly. Let's met them up in the living room."

"I never thought Siwon will do that to the council but we were to late to warn them. When we arrived to the meeting, it was then he summons his friends from the ground. He is a teleporter and a dark magic controller." Bang said to them. 

 

"How was dad? Our dad to be exact? Are they okay?" Chanyeol asks worriedly to Yongguk. 

 

"They are trapped inside a wall...or glass mirror. We need to find a way on how to free them." The boss said. "They also got Yongjae and Daehyun inside."

 

"Currently we are disadvantage since we are short in our crew and they start to take over Seoul and clean out the place one by one." Luhan announced.

 

"We have Rapmon's side and JB's group since Bambam was one of the old JB's pack. JB and Bambam are now in a new group of hunters back at Baekbeom's place. How familiar is that thing be?" Suho said.

 

"We have no choice but to stay at my brother's place for a while since we are done doing some preventive measurements. I hate to admit it but we need to be inside the manor than here." Baekhyun suggest to them.

 

"We'll gonna wait for the others to return first before moving out. If, we find where they are now." Kris appears on the living room with Xiumin, whose appearance is slight paler than usual.

 

"I know I am the least guy you want to see now, but I might know where the guys are." He said looking at them while they all listen to him.

 

"I'm sorry that I really mess up things yesterday, but I promise to make it up to you. Tao showed me about his vision and it was about the three. They are smaller now and I found them near our spot. They should be near here since they can saw the tree from there and its raining on their view there." 

 

Just like how the man ended his explanation, a roar of thunder was heard before tiny drops of water occupied their surroundings as it rains heavier and louder every minute. 

 

"So your saying that, there is a strong possibility that they are out there in the rain with their tiny size?" Baekhyun stands up suddenly. 

 

Xiumin nods in agreement and without any more seconds to wait, he dasohes outside followed by the others to go search and rescue the three. 

 

After searching for an hour near the tree, they still can't find any sign of the other since they are small and have no clue on their whereabouts. They are now soaking wet outside when they telepathically contact each other. 

 

'Aren't there any other clues beside they are little and near the tree?' Baekhyun asks.

 

'Well, aside from it is raining, they are staying in a round object while Chen uses his ability to call someone or something, some of its parts are enlighten with his sparks.' Xiumin recalls the vision .

 

'That doesn't make sense. What is something round that reflects sparks?' Luhan thinks beside Sehun when he snap his finger.

 

'I know it hyung!' Sehun shouts.

 

'What?' They all replied at the same time flinching when the voice was too loud.

 

'Remember when D.O, Kai and J-hope hyung played beside the big tree over there? We can saw the tree house from there and also, I remembered playing can a while ago near the river since it was elevated there. So that must be it.' Sehun talks about the west wing where there are several trees but more grass. 

'I think I saw some spark or flash of light over there.' Sehun mention which clearly made Baekhyun, Xiumin and Chanyeol went near the place. 

 

"There!" Chanyeol exclaims and saw a can near a rock. 

 

'Way to go Sehun! I'm gonna kiss you.' He praised him. 

 

'Yehet! Never don't mind about a thing! But I guess a little bubble tea will be great rather than a kiss. Or a kiss from Luhan hyung.' Sehun chuckles at his own words then get slapped by the other.

 

The trio went close when Baekhyun hears a moan.

 

"Kyungsoo!!" Xiumin panics when he heard familiar voice and pics the can gently to eye level.

 

"Hey guys! What a big world huh?" Chen greets them with his arms on the air presented to them. 

 

"Come here, we're going home now." He said letting Chen helps Kai assist D.O outside.

 

"Kyungie..oh my poor baby Soo... what happen?" Baekhyun claims Kyungsoo and Kai from the other. He can't believe he is holding the Fae who looks like burning up from his palm as he protect him from the harsh rain. 

 

"He used his powers when we are captured by weird guys. I guess he over did it." Kai said to Baekhyun. 

 

"Baek..hyunnie....." Kyungsoo moans while he tries to keep his eyes open to see his brother.

 

"Ssh.... I've got you now Soo. Your safe now." He gently tap his head by his finger when he grabs it. Kyungsoo is trying to bite his finger but can't get a single drop of blood so Baekhyun decided to pierce it with his fang and offers it to his brother. Kai was with Chanyeol and Chen was with Xiumin.

 

"Let's go home now." Baekhyun orders them while they are handling the little guys carefully.

"He is now fine but I think body still needs to adjust on his ability. Lately, he is used on his Fae ability and now, his body can't use his vampire ability since he is using it in a wrong way. I have treated them already and its up to Himchan to return them to their regular sizes." Lay speaks to them.

 

"Thanks Lay. So now, what do we do?" Suho asks. 

 

"Now we'll wait tomorrow for them to recover." Luhan said. "I need to contact Hyuna about what is happening to the council. We need to find a way how to free to council and stop Siwon from manipulating the underground." he stands up and move away.

 

"Okay, I've manage to fix Zelo. All I need to do now is to charge him." Jonggup said with some hint of crude and oil on his face and jumper shirt. 

 

"I can help." Chen emerge from the room and asks Jonggup to let them see the robot with Xiumin following his gaze. It seems that the two are not speaking with each other since they arrive.

 

"Let them be. I want you guys to train here under my supervision so be ready. You're not all nocturnal so rest up. We've got a long day tomorrow." Kris said. 

 

"I need to cook first since I know you guys are hungry." Chanyeol announced and the others help him in the kitchen.

 

 

 

"Are you okay now?" Baekhyun asks his brother who is back to his normal size with Kai on his side.

 

"Yeah... I am. Thanks hyung." He nozzles at the warmth of Baek's hand on his face making the other cooed at the sight.

 

"Thanks for the help Himchan." He turns to the warlock.

 

"No problem. I think i'm gonna check on Gukk before he over work himself up." Himchan smile before leaving the three inside the room.

 

"Thanks for taking care of my brother Kai. I know I doubt you many times before, but thanks anyway." Baek said to Kai.

 

"Nah..... I'm really fond of him so don't worry. I promise to be there with him all the time." Kai beams at him.

 

"Now you're both treating me like a baby." Kyungsoo pouts and they chuckled.

 

"You remember Baekbeom right?" Baek opens up the topic and Kyungsoo stiffens while turning his gaze on his blanket then nods.

 

"He offers us protection for a while and you know we need it right? So we decided starting tomorrow, we can be back at the manor. Just to be safe since we are in trouble." He proceeds.

 

"But....but I......" 

 

"Don't worry Soo. I'll be there, Kai will and the rest so he can't harm you. Especially when he promised that he would not do anything to harm you or i'll make him regret it." Baek assures him and touch his hair but he remained silent.

 

"It'll be fine. I assure you. You can also tell me if he will try to hurt you again. It is for the better, Luhan also accepts the offer so no need to back out now." He sighs.

 

"O.....okay." He murmurs.

 

"Thanks. Rest well and i'll check you up for food once Chanyeol is done with the food." Baek kissed his forehead and leaves.

 

"What happen to Xiumin hyung? And where is Tao?" He asks. 

 

Baekhyun really forgot that the smaller male can be sensitive at easy to worry.

 

"I'll tell you later." He said before shutting the door.

 

"Do you want me to leave too?" Kai asks.

 

"No. C...can you.... stay here with me... in the bed... until I got better?" He shyly asks.

 

"Of course. I mean, why not? If that can make you feel better." Kai eagerly joins him in the bed while tugging himself beside the male. 

 

That is when Kyungsoo tries to face him and curled at the warmth given by Kai. The other chuckles and decided to put his arms around his waist and move him closer, letting him rest on his chest as they enjoy the relaxing moment with rain pouring outside. Kai felt like in heaven right now so he had no choice but to hug him tightly and scent his hair with the familiar vanilla scent.

 

"That tickles....Kai.." Kyungsoo giggled while he place his hand on Kai's waist and and now buried his face on his neck tickling him.

 

"Now you are tickling me..... call me Jongin when we are alone." Kai insist.

 

"Okay....Jongin, can I ask a question?" Kyungsoo on his lips and buries his face on his neck.

 

"Mmhh.." Kai answered tiredly. When he felt a ticklish and wet sensation caused by Kyungsoo his neck clean.

 

"Can I taste you?"  

 

"Mmhh... what?" Before Kai new it, the other had plunge his not so sharp fang to his neck causing him to gasp in shock as Kyungsoo push him more to the mattress and be on top of Kai. 

 

"Oh my gosh Soo...ah....be careful now." Kai his in pain when the smaller feed on his blood. He felt hurt at the same time feels pleasure as the man and plunge at him.

 

Kyungsoo is and the blood out Jongin trying to satisfy his other side since he used that a while ago which always makes him hungry afterwards. Too bad he can't resist the alluring smell Kai is giving him, but he also takes note not to drain the man because that might trigger the death of him. Good thing the door opens revealing Baekhyun, Luhan and Sehun probably checking up on him. 

 

"How's our little fellow?"Luhan widens his eyes at the sigh same as the others.Luhan manage to put his hands on Sehun' s eyes, even the younger can saw what the others are doing in the bed by the gap of his fingers.

 

"Kyungsoo!! Get off from Kai!!" Baekhyun said with flushed face and pries off his brother when he didn't obey.

 

"Ahh.... no!! Nini!!" Kyungsoo tried to struggle free from Baekhyun but he was still weak so he give up. They are now stumbled at the floor while Kyungsoo sobs.

 

"My gosh. I forgot that little detail." Baekhyun hissed in frustration.

 

"Are you alright Kai?" Luhan manage to make Kai stands up with a hand on his abused neck.

 

"Ouch....I....i'm okay. It's just sore a little I think." He tried to touch the wound when he flinch after hitting the part of wounded area and looks at his blood. Good thing the bleeding stop but the pierce is still there. He tried to approach Kyungsoo but Luhan prevents him.

 

"Careful, he is not himself right now. He might drain you to death. " Luhan put a hand over him while eyeing the sobbing Kyungsoo.

 

"Jonginnie....." Kyungsoo sobs by the arms of Baekhyun who embraces him.

 

"No...it's okay. I permit him to do that though so if there is anyone at fault, that should be me. Right Soo?" Kai said and kneel in front of the cute owl male.

 

The male nods and hugs him like a koala as Baekhyun sighs and releases his grip from his brother.

 

"Okay, but I will keep an eye on you two in case you will do something inappropriate. Especially you!" He glares at Kai.

 

"Hey! I thought we don't have trust issues anymore?" Kai pouts at him.  

 

"That is what you only thought. Who knows what you might do to my baby Soo if i'm not looking around?"

 

"I'm not doing anything!!! I just...I just lay beside him... that's all!" Kai protest at the vampire.

 

"Come on! Let them handle their mess." Luhan push Sehun outside and leaves the three men inside.

 

"What is that all about?" Sehun asks.

 

"Nothing.... it is just whenever D.O uses his powers, he always got really hungry. And when I say hungry, not only on food but also in thirst for blood that is why Baekhyun always assist him whenever he is thirsty for blood. What you saw earlier is what happens when D.O is on his vampire mode. Just like how we are when we can't handle our blood thirst." He explain to Sehun.

 

"Oh.....so I guess.. when your thirsty you need fresh blood right?" Sehun asks Luhan.

 

"Yeah. I guess fresh blood is much tastier than stored one." He states.

 

"And I guess I can allow you to drink mine too just like Kai did to D.O." Sehun chirpy said as he walks down the room leaving Luhan mouth agape at his sentence.

 

"WHAT?!?!?!" Luhan shrieks at his statement. "Hey, hold up you brat!!"

"For how long will you keep ignoring me Chennie?" Xiumin pouts cutely at the funky man reading about something as the night is through.

 

"Fine! Keep ignoring me until you like it you dino face! Maybe it's just better when Tao is here and not me. By then, maybe you'll forgive." Xuimin pouts 'coz its been that long since Chen speaks to him after finding out what happened to Tao after they are caught. It certainly doesn't please Chen but also he didn't want to hurt and ignore the other like that, but he needs to be reminded of how to think and act when he is frustrated over things.  

 

"It is not just ignoring you but I 'DO' always remind you to keep your cool. And yet, while I was away you tend to forget what I've told you. You need a lot of patience and temper, did you know that?" He rubs his temples in annoyance then puts away the book on his side. 

 

"And you think I am not regret what I have done. Maybe the others forgive me already, even Kris, but I don't know if Tao will. I..I pushed him to his limit, but I didn't knew that this will be the result. Didn't you think that every time I see Kris's eyes, the emptiness around when he enters and leaves their room it doesn't affect me? Or even the pity that Luhan and the others are showing whenever they look at me convincing me it is not my fault when it actually is." Xiumin flares up and defends himself.

 

"That's not what I meant when...." 

 

"Then WHAT? TELL ME!!" Xiumin said making some part if the room become frosted while Chen backs away from him.

 

"See?That is why I tell you to keep calm at all times. You are really powerful yet you can harm the others when you are angry or frustrated." Chen sighs and move closer to the angry vampire.

 

"Come here. I'm not mad at you. Just a little bit frustrated but still, I hate it when you dump me the other night." Chen motions Xiumin to come near him but he wouldn't bulge, instead, he turns away and move at the veranda again.

 

"You're really a stubborn one. Don't you know that?" Chen back hugs him while the other place his hand over the embrace.

 

"It's not my fault that my powers are starting to grew stronger than usual. People and other creatures are also scared of me, but not Luhan. He even help me to find a place and now, I am wrecking the only place I know that will accept me. I'm sure when I went on berserk one of these days, you will also be afraid of me and might kill me afterwards. Just like what people in my town did to my family, eons ago." Xiumin felt at ease when he was with the other.

 

"Of course not. I will not be afraid from you nor turn away against you, you know that. Feel at ease 'coz I can't get mad at you for that long. You know that I love you right?" Chen hugs him tighter and kiss him on his cheeks.

 

"Yeah..... You are also dumb to always stay beside me, even if i push you away. Sorry and thank you." He turns around to met his eyes. He grab Chen's neck closer and put their lips together in a slow and passionate kiss before he pulls back. 

 

"And you know that I love you too right?" He said to Chen.

 

"Yeah. We both knew that." 

 

They remained at each others embrace for a little more longer. But back on Xiumin's mind, he is afraid of anything that may happen in the future. Especially the one which involves him on Tao's vision but a tighter hug assures him that everything will be just fine for now. Because he always find peace whenever he is with the other. His bloodmate.
