"You have failed again to gain more souls Ryeowook~ah!" The magician said to the small male with injured arms.

 

"Shut up Kyu.... what about you? Your not even half way through your mission." Ryeowook said.

 

"Says who? Look at the pretty birds that I've captured. See? I bet Siwon will be pleased, rather than you who always fail to do a simple job." He teases the smaller man as he shows his cage with three small person on it.

 

" Let us go!" Chen shouted who tries to shake the cage as Kai hugs D.O closer to him. It has been a day since they were in the cage and let them starve and stay like that for nearly half a day.w 

 

"Wow, you really gain some new pets there, but how can Siwon even praise you with that things?" Ryeowook raised an eyebrow.

 

Kyuhyun chuckles and sway the cage from left to right slightly, causing the the captures to stumble before they fall into a sitting position inside the cage.

 

"Hey! That is not fair! I might puke inside this cage and you wouldn't even want that right? So you better free us or else..." 

 

"Or else what? You don't seem to know your place yet, you tiny thing. " Kyuhyun place the cage on the table and he pokes Chen with a stick making Chen to groan in pain.

 

"I'll make the orders here and not you!" He reminds them.

 

"We're not your toys! Change us back this once!" Kai shouted to him. 

 

"Ooohh.. what a feisty one you have there!" Another man with black attire enters the room with another male with slighlty long hair that is push back with a head band.

 

"See? I told you he have the Fae." The man with the band speak.

 

"Yeah... but I've got a problem about this one since the darker male doesn't want to release the Fae. He always hold him like that so I can't separate the two." Kyuhyun sighs.

 

Chen now seat besides Kai and D.O while calming Kai when the other guys throw them some insults. 

 

"We can't let them take D.O since they are the bad guys." Chen whispers to Kai who holds D.O tighter on his embrace.

 

"As if I'm gonna let them have him without a fight." Kai scoff while giving the guys a glare.

 

"I wanna go home now." D.O holds Kai's arms that is holding him tight in an embrace with slight teary eyes. 

 

"We'll find a way to escape here somehow so don't cry please. We are here for you." Kai assures him with a peck on his cheeks. D.O burrows his face on Kai's arms as he nuzzle on it for assurance with his curled up body.

 

"Yeah, no need to be afraid because that is what they want so can't show weakness to them." Chen ruffles his hair affectionately and saw the man looking at them which he replies with a smug look.

 

"Omo, if looks can kill I bet we are killed by now, but sorry. It won't work. It seems that you really like the Fae huh? Why don't we play for a bit?" Yesung take the cage from the table and place it on the near rectangular box like maze as he opens the cage.

 

"Now, let us see what you guys can do." He shake the cage letting them fall down into the garden like maze.

 

"Whoa.... what the hell!!! Be more gentle next time. Small people here!" Chen shouts making the others chuckles at him.

 

"You really look like a some kind of clown. No wonder he also took this one for entertainment!" Heechul said.

 

"Oh really? Then you better pay me back 'coz I don't entertain for free." Chen protest.

 

"Better much entertain us before we got bored and kill you. Find your way out and maybe we will ditch the cage for you." Kyuhyun said as he let the three small males with the height from his fingertips to wrist on the taller man starts to poke the the tanned male but it was persistent to hold D.O no matter what and leaves.

 

"Now what?" Chen asks the two.

 

"Sorry. I wish I could help but, I can't use my Fae powers here and I am still training over my other ability." Kyungsoo finally let Kai to stand by his side.

 

"It's okay. Hey, I guess we are all still training here, so no worries. Now let us find our way out of this maze." Chen ruffles his hair and push them lightly.

 

"I hate maze!"D.O pouts trying to remember when we was trap in the glass maze back at the festival.

 

"Don't worry. We'll make it out...somehow." Kai hopes that he was right.

After hours of finding their way out of the maze, the trio found out that there are traps and monsters at their size. The more traps and monster they have, the more closer they are to the exit. They are now situated at the center of the maze where a Minotaur and Manticore was.  

 

"Now I'm sure that is the exit. If not, I'l bet Tao's gucci bag over this one." Chen said exhaustedly but tightens his grip over his whip. 

 

"I seconded that one. Look! There is the last gate, but there is no key at all." Kai points at the door behind them.

 

"I think the manticore have it. It is on its collar." D.O informs them and the two guys look at the manticore.

 

The manticore, another type of chimera with a scorpion tail end which can paralyze and poison its enemy hissed at them and the wolf head starts to growl inwardly to them.

 

"Okay, now what?" Kai asks when the minotaur shoot some smoke out o f its nose while gripping its battle axe ready to attack them.

 

"Just deal with the manticore and careful of the tail, its posionous. I'll deal with the minotaur." D.O said with his red hair and eyes. Even he can't use his Fae powers, he can still have his vampire powers since he is only half and he surely need now.

 

"We will. Good luck!" Kai and Chen nods before moving aside to face the manticore.

 

The beast raises its axe and rushes towards D.O when he deflected it by his palms and throws the axe to its side. But the minotaur kicks its front legs to D.O making him flies a few feet away from them.

 

"Kyungsoo yah!!" Kai shouted as he watch the smaller being hit by the beast and be distracted for a while now. When he looks back to the beast, it's scorpion tail is near on his face. Luckily, Chen manage to whip it away by his weapon and looks at Kai.

 

"Hey, focus here now. Dyo can handle himself well so no need to worry." Chen assures to him and Kai made himself into a fighting position waiting to attack the manticore.

"Something is not right with the fae." Kyuhyun hums in his observation about the trio who are fighting off the manticore and the minotaur.

 

"Well, why don't we check them out right now?" Yesung stated to him since the trio seems to be finished and exhausted on the batlte they did at the labyrinth.

 

Kyuhyun fished out D.O from the trio when Kai is not on guard making Kai and Chen protest on Kyuhyun.

 

"Put me down!!" D.O stuggles from Kyuhyun's hold as he successfully pushed his thumb and pointy finger away from his waist.

 

"Whoaaa... you are really that strong huh? And let us see what kind of Fae are you." Kyuhyun manage to wound D.O on his shoulders by his sharp nails making D.O hissed in pain while he gathers enough blood at him.

 

"Hmmmm..... a hybrid. Never tasted one after eons ago." Kyuhyun smirks and Yesung becomes interested on the Fae suddenly.

 

"Really?" He then the fingers of Kyuhyun with the Fae's blood before the magician can do it first. 

 

"Hey! That was mine." Kyuhyun pull his finger out from the others mouth and wipe it on Yesung's shirt. 

 

"Yuck! You are really so gross!" Kyuhyun protests while putting the boy down with the others.

 

"I'm fine. Don't worry." D.O said when Kai suddenly looks at the wound which the warlock give him.

 

"Just like what I thought, very tasty." Yesung's attention is now at the D.O with a tint of red eyes. 

 

"Don't touch him!" Chen shouts and whip the other's hand with enough electricity making him jolt from shock a little and rub his hands.

 

"Feisty. See? I told you they were interesting. Don't touch the Fae yet 'coz you know what Siwon will do if you play with him." Kyuhyun reprimands Yesung from getting the Fae away from the three.

 

"Hrrmmph.. look who's talking? You are the one that injures him a while ago and not me." Yesung back fires at him. 

 

"Oh yeah? But you are the one who tasted it first!" Kyuhyun mocks the others. 

 

"I think we should better leave while they are distracted." Chen motion for them to move away from the two bickering man.

 

"Midsnack is ready!!!" Heechul caught their attention and Kyuhyun spotted the three little man who are trying to escape by Chen's elastic whip.

 

"Gotcha! You better behave in here and no funny business. This doll house have specialized magic that can resist all magic from the inside. The only way to be out is by opening it from the outside." Kyuhyun said as he place the trio inside attic of the doll house.

 

Good thing the play house have enough light just like a real house. The trio decided to take a tour inside and sits down on the bedroom. 

 

"Let's try to see if there are some medicine kit here." Chen hurriedly open some cabinets in search for something to treat D.O's wounds while Kai stay on D.O's side.

 

"Is it still bleeding?" Kai asks D.O who is busy applying some pressure to the wound to make the bleeding stop.

 

"Quite, yeah." D.O nods at him while enduring the pain since Kyuhyun damage his shoulders quite deep to get some blood off him.

 

"Those freaking bastards. I swear if only we've return to our original size, I will punch that guy's ." Kai grits his teeth 

"Yeah right, only if. Can you believe this is like a real house? They are also some clean water here." Chen arrives with pail of water, towel and a small medicine kit which Kai helps him to carry it near D.O.

 

"Here, let us clean your wounds first." Chen took off the cloth which Kai used to pressed the wound and replace it with a damp clean one while wiping off the wound.

 

Kyungsoo hissed in pain when Chen dips the cloth too hard on the wound and grabs Kai's hand tighter instead. Kai, feeling helpless on the situation can't help but to squeeze the other's hand and say assuring words to him until Chen is finished cleaning and covering the wounded area.

 

"Thanks Chen. I owe you one." Kai said to the other.

 

"Aww....no need to thank me. it's just a small thing. Now I'm hungry, I wish they have given us food here instead. " Chen divert the talk since he doesn't like being complimented at all. 

 

"Speaking of, I wish Bambam and the others are still alright." Kyungsoo sighs with a dejected feelings.

 

"Don't worry. We all know that they can handle themselves well. How about you? Aren't you hungry yet?" Kai asks the smaller.

 

Kyungsoo really is exhausted and hungry but he decided to not to open it up. Kai, being sensible to the others feelings knew he was right.

 

"I just need some rest. That's all." Kyungsoo said and lay down the bed trying to gain some sleep.

 

"Are you sure?" Kai insists when Chen pats his shoulders.

 

"Just let him rest for a while. He needs it." Chen smiles at him which Kai can't help but to nod at him and look at Chen. His eyes widen when he saw Chen fixing his legs. Before he can speak, Chen gestures for him to be quiet by placing his pointy finger on his lips signaling him to be quiet so D.O can sleep.

 

"What happened?" Kai spoke in hush tone to Chen.

 

"Clumsiness. The manticore scratch my leg with its tail when I tried to avoid its claws." Chen secures his wound with a clean cloth wrapped all over his legs.

 

"But...I thought the tail was poisonous. Are you feeling well?" Kai check Chen's temperature on his forehead and neck.

 

"I'm fine. You know that poisons doesn't have any effect on my body right? So no need to worry, got it all cleared. I guess that is part of my ability." Chen beams a smile at him.

 

"Hey, isn't you can teleport to some place or something?" Chen just remembered it right now. Kai on the other hand blinks at him dumbly and the idea just came to him just now.

 

"Oh my gosh! How can I forgot that detail." Kai face palm himself about that detail which if just used it a while ago, they can get out easily.

 

"Yeah, how dumb you are." Chen jokes at him earning a glare from Kai as he walks towards the sleeping Kyungsoo.

 

"Or, just unlucky 'coz you have me here." Chen flops at the floor besides D.O.

 

"Nah... I really wish someone will open the door or give us some food here. We will make it out here." Kai joins Chen on the floor facing him and the sleeping male.

 

"Hyung...can I... ask you something?" Kai looks at Chen who tilted his head in response. 

 

"What do you know about the mate thing? Is it true that you and Xiumin are mates?" Chen coughs when he accidentally chokes on his saliva and pats his chest to calm down. 

 

"Where....where did you learn that thing?" Chen asks to Kai. 

 

"Ahhmmm.... I've heard it from Chanyeol when he was talking to Baekhyun and there was Luhan talking with Xiumin. And Suho and Kris and...." 

 

"Okay stop. I get it already." Chen groans in frustration on how the other eavesdrop on the others conversation.

 

"Uhmmm... how can i explain this....." Chen can't help but to scratch the back of his head due to the topic. 

 

"You know the word 'soulmate' or 'true love' right? It is just like that in our terms and yeah. I didn't think it like that yet, but, somehow, there is something like that sparks on me every time I'm with that quiet vampire. " Chen scoffs at the end of his sentence.

 

"Is it good or bad?" Kai asks him.

 

"I don't know but, I think it is not that bad. It is just like how you see this little fellow to you. Just like an attraction, or like or something." Chen gaze to Kyungsoo and Kai seemed to get the point of it.

 

"Man, I think I really have my luck on him, neh?" Chen suddenly stands up and hears something rustling from the outside.. and opens the doll house into half.

 

"I've got you some food, so enjoy." A soft voice was heard but then, the footsteps becomes softer indicating the man just got farther away from them. 

 

"Lem'me check it!" Chen tried to stand but Kai was the fast one to move and went down for inspection.

 

"Hyung! There is food outside and guess what?" Kai hurriedly went up after few minutes.

 

"What?" Chen asks excitedly.

 

"The door is open. This means once we go outside, I can use my teleporting ability." Kai cheers up 'coz there is still hope for them after all.

 

Kai volunteered to wake up the sleeping male and ready for any trap that there might be. 

 

"Hey Soo, wake up. We are leaving this place now." Kai shake him up.

 

"I.. can't move. too tired." He cutely yawns and rub his eyes keeping to stay awake causing Kai to be awed by the cute fae.

 

Since D.O still need some sleep, he manage to just carry the man on his back for he sure is too tired to walk. Chen leads the way, slightly limping as he walks away outside the door. He waits for any ambush attack but sensing none, he called the other two before asking Kai to pass his dagger to him. Kai was hesitant first but decided to trust the other which Chen used to slice a piece of that big chocolate cake presented to them and put it on the dimensional bag, as many as he can. When Kai heard noises which are approaching near them, he calls for Chen and ask him to hold to D.O as he recalls the feeling of what he did when he had experience the travelling part. He then recalls a place on his head and before the other guys knew it, the three small males are nowhere to be seen.

"Now where the heck are we, Jongnog?" Chen haven't got a clue to where they are since they are somewhere in a dark room when a peak of light enters in along with a figure.

 

"A rat!!! Run!!!" Chen gestures for them to run away from the rat since it was almost to their size. No doubt it can kill them for sure.

 

"Do something!! Teleport somewhere..." Chen yells while Kai is struggling to run with the sleeping male on his back. 

 

"Where?" Kai huffs.

 

"Just... anywhere, not here!!" Chen instructs and without second thought, they are now somewhere like a living room.

 

"Are we back in that place?" Chen asks and Kai just shook his head in the process. He is too pressured to think of any other place so he thought for a house.

 

"I just wished we ate inside a house." Kai said. Chen was about to protest when they saw a big V, J-hope and Jimin entering the room. 

 

"Hey guys!! It's us!! Look over here!!!" Kai shouted but his voice was muffled by the sound of Jimin's speaker. 

 

"They can't hear us." Chen points out but to their surprise, Jimin decides to jump to the sofa where they are situated and Kai can't help but to teleport again. 

 

"That was close!" Kai wipes a non existing sweat on his forehead. They are nearly crashed by Jimin back there.

 

"So...what did you wish this time eh?" Chen asks him again.

 

"I just wished for a certain tree. That is all." Kai huffs in exhaustion.

 

"And...that is?" 

 

"That tree!!!" Kai points to a certain tree where the tree house is located. Surely it isn't that long, if you travel with regular size but for them, it is a heck of a walk. 

 

"Come on!!! How can we possibly get on there with these tall grass?" Chen whines in frustration. 

 

"We need help. Soo.... wake up. We ate already here, are you oka.. , he is hot hyung!!" Kai felt the temperature of the other and it is surely burning.

 

"Why didn't you said so?" Chen said when a crack of thunder emerge from the sky as a continous drop of water starts to flow out from the night sky making it hard to move and also hard to see since it is dark and cold.

 

"We need to get out of the rain, and at the same time, the tree was just near ahead." Chen bit his lower lips and think of something.

 

"How can they know we are here?" Kai helplessly asks. Somehow, they manage to get inside a can and decided to stay there for a while. 

 

Chen picks up something from the bag and pull out the pieces of bread that he scrap and gave it to Kai and Kyungsoo. 

 

"I know your flaring up but you need to eat this." He urges D.O to eat while placing his clothes above the sick boy who obeys him even he doesn't want to.

 

"I guess we will stay here for tonight until the rain stops pouring down. Just, go to sleep now while I am in charge for the night." The older decides to stay awake to baby sits them.

 

"But i'm fine."The tanned male insist.

 

"No. You have do your job in protecting D.O. Now, let me do my job. Sleep now since I knew keeping awake for him and the teleporting sure takes its toll on you. Rest well and let me handle this one." He smiles at him as the other yawns and surrender to sleep.

 

"I just hope that stupid vampire will show his face here." Chen sighs as he summons his ability, electricity on his arms and fires it to what extend of his arms cam have. Wishing someone, or anyone can see his plea.
