"We need to go back to the lab that you have seen. There might be a clue there somewhere." Luhan concludes.

"Yeah, and how do we do that?!" Kris raised an eyebrow. 

"Can you unseal the spell D.O?" Luhan asks the Fae.

"I...I don't know. I think, but I've never done some undoing spell." D.O said. 

"Good. Maybe Yongguk knows something.Now, let us ready to get out here." Xiumin said as the group assist the creatures. Seeing some crystal shards makes Luhan to attempt a communication with Yongguk. Gladly, the crystal allows a sort of communication and he saw Yongguk's desk.

"Come on, where are you?!" Luhan saw no occupants in the room. He decided to wait for another few minutes to pass and luckily, Himchan just pass through and notice him.

"Oh... hi-yaah Luhan! Wazzup?!" The single eyelid with fierce features opens up the communication..

" Hey! Where's Guk? We need to tell him something important." Luhan said.

"He is out, seems that the notorious group are up to some collecting elementals and he needs to go on a mission with Zelo and Daehyun." He smiles. "Want me to pass something?" 

"Yeah, you see we have already saw my intel in the mines. Problem is we are trapped by a special seal. Once we get in, we can never go out. Only an elemental can undo this and D.O is our chance but he still needs a guide. Do you know some unsealing spell perhaps?" He asks. 

"Yeah, duh, I'm not a warlock if I don't know any. Just let me talk to D.O for a while." Himchan gladly helps D.O when he come over to memorize some old language and D.O somehow understand some spell. He tries to chant it correctly and he releases some green aura around him then the barrier crashed. 

"Look like you can be my apprentice in the future. Gladly to be in your assistance though. Any more request?" Himchan stated.

"Jus a little convo for the creatures we have here. We will be needing alot!" Xiumin said.

"Sure. I'll zap Jonggup to your place at once for your carrier. The normal, fancy or special type?" He asks.

"Surprise us!" Luhan said as they bid farewell to the guy.

They are now about to get outside the barrier when they heard a loud growl. It seems that the chimera manage to track them after D.O has unsealed the barrier. The monster was very intimidating for them since it is in a size of ten feet is now hungrily eyeing them with it's three heads and full grown teeth. They all take little step backwards while wait for Luhan's instruction. 

"Hyuna, stay here to defend the creatures together with Suho and Lay." They nod in agreement and readied their weapon just in case.

"Other hunters, on you weapons, work with vampires together. Use the buddy system in assisting and have someone attacking it side by side." The other now splits into groups and attacks the sides, front and back view of the monster. 

The monsters didn't have a chance to attack because the groups attacks them one by one. When they thought they are winning, the monster let out a loud growl and start to divide itself into three having one head on each copies. Then another body decided to show up when it shows a complexion similar to a Fae and D.O's eyes widens. The Fae had it's scent similar to D.O and he recalls the Fae. It was his brother Yunho.

"Uh-oh! Bad move!" Kai said as he teams up with Baekhyun and Sehun in one monster.

Tao, Kris and Chanyeol are paired up to another one. 

Luhan is faced with the wild Fae with D.O but he decided to keep his guard up after he had read the other's mind and knew he cannot or does not have the will to let the kid fight.

It seems that the Fae is not on his own mind and just a freaking stone controlling over him. It struck him when he saw the familiar far. It was the best friend of his brother Jae and that is the reason why the other is not attacking. they have been months missing from their home before then massacre happened and it all fit in.

Kyungsoo is now shaking a bit and saw the dead expression of his hyung. Luhan reminded that it was not his brother anymore because he is clinically brain dead and a mere stone is consuming him or using him. Just like an empty vessel. 

The guys are having a hard time 'coz the monster have incredible thick skin unlike any other monster they have encounter. Kai lifted his dagger sideways and the blade doubled the size and he caught another dagger with same size of the blade allowing him to put it together and throw it like a shuriken to the beasts. It gladly tore its abdomen then Sehun blasted air towards it cutting it into two while Baekhyun slice it up with his light. They cheered right after that not knowing than the thing can regenerate again.

Chen whips his weapon hard connecting to the neck of the beast making the lightning from it shock the beast and immobilized it while Xiumin pierce it by an icicle coming from the ground that let the beast struck at the abdomen and let it shriek in pain and died.

Chanyeol have his gauntlet from his forearm, wrist up to his lower arm that shoots powerful flames that toasts the beast as Kris shoots it then Tao flies and did a heel kick to the beasts neck hitting the ground with a loud crack and seeing the ground went down from the impact.

Just when they though of winning, the three started regenerating itself and seems like nothing have just happen. One thing for sure they now, they all best a red light before they regenerate similar to the one on the wild Fae.

"The stone regenerates them!" Tao shouted and Luhan nodded.

"We need to kill it so we can finish the beasts off." Luhan told to D.O who somehow understand the situation.

D.O shakes his head and slap his face to become aware because Luhan is right. He is not his brother anymore after he knew another Fae came to visit them and delivers the dreadful message. He is now with his another family that he can't afford to loose.

The wild Fae stomps his feet and large roots starts to rush towards their direction. Luhan decided to fled from then path while D.O block it by a big boulder of rocks. Good thing he block it 'coz it will head directly to Hyuna's group.

The Fae releases crystal shard at his mouth that surprises them both at the process and Luhan got a barrier towards them. 

"I'll distract it, you go for the attacks." Luhan send D.O a telepathic message that the younger nods. Luhan decided to use the crystal shards to manipulate it towards the enemy but it started to breathe fire which an ability that it got from the dragons.

Luhan then sends a sonic wave towards it that immobilize it for a while but a vine started to grab him from below and lifted him up. Before he can do anything, the Fae headed towards him and opens its mouth in a freaky wide manner ready to devour him when D.O threw a boulder to it making it fly few meters from them. 

"Thanks!" Luhan said happily.

"My brother was a lot more cooler than that. That monster needs to be destroyed fast before it can devour any monsters." D.O plainly said. There was clearly a coldness within his voice and eyes but Luhan decipher what he just say.

The Fae with big mouth starts devouring a frozen creature which Xiumin had used his ability to save Baekhyun. Then the stone vibrated making the Fae and the three beasts acquire a scale and have the ability to use water. 

"You better kill that creature fast!" Sehun shouted cause they seemed to have a little problem about the regenerating process. 

"I'm on it!" D.O said. 

He lunges forward and Luhan follows his pace. He envelops his fist with rocks and Luhan guides him from incoming attack by blocking it with his ability. D.O successfully get in close with the Fae and punch it with his strength making the Fae twisted his neck indicating it definitely broke. When the Fae falls, D.O decided to follow it and start to hover in front of it and throw huge punches on it. He doesn't knew that the stone somehow cracked and make the three chimeras turns into a oozing black liquid. The vampires and hunters that fought with the beast cheers and Luhan started to stop D.O from punching the dead Fae. He caught tears flowing to his cheeks and he stops when he felt Luhan's hand on his shoulder indicating it is over. 

The other cheered and went to Hyuna except Kai, Sehun and Bakehyun who turns to the two finished figthing with the Fae. Sehun stares at the dark oozing liquid a while ago but he freak out when it started moving together in a fast pace towards the two and Sehun screamed to them.

"Watch out!" Sehun's scream caught the attention of the two also the others but by the time Luhan turns, he saw a black figure towering over them as he widens his eyes and the dark ooze which engulfs them whole.

"Noooo!!!" Baekhyun rush towards in fast pace and started to release a very blinding light enough to purify the dark figure as he put his hand towards the ooze and blind some of his companion.

"Hey!!! You should have warn us Baek!! Seriously it stings!!" Kai grab his burning eyes because he got to distracted and get saw the blinding light together with Sehun who keeps muttering a curse and Lay aids to their rescue.

On the other hand, Baekhyun successfully release the dark ooze and good thing Luhan emitted a barrier so they cannot be engulf by the shadows.

"Oh Kyungie!! Are you guys alright!? Damn, never scare me like that again!" Baekhyun hugs his brother. He clearly knew that he needs to protect his brother, even it is half because of his promise to him. 

"Sorry to worry you, hyung." He hugs his brother.  

Luhan feeling set aside starts to leave the two but was surprised when Sehun tackles him to a hug.

"Awww.. don't be jelous hyung, I'm just right here!!!" Sehun sticks his cheeks with the vampire and he quickly pushes him off and rubs his cheeks in annoyance making Suho and Xiumin chuckles.

"Aish!! This kid seriously!!!" He annoyingly said. 

"Well, if you are done appreciating each other, maybe we can get out of here?" The feline, Hyuna announces and they all decided to leave the place after a quick investigation.

Before they leave the cave, D.O steals another glance at the dead Fae and decided to mutter a simple goodbye as they headed upwards. D.O closes the entrance of the mine and what they saw outside surprise them. Jonggup was there waiting for them with his fancy big jellyfish like vehicle that carries them back to Seoul. The vehicles somehow have an invisible layer that let them travel without getting caught and have an extra room for them to rest. Since vampires are nocturnal and it's been dark outside when they got out, the hunters decided to take a rest with exemption of Kris for their mini group discussion. D.O was also resting since he do most of the work earlier and needs to gather enough strength for tomorrow with Baekhyun.

"That A guys must be in search of something and doing some experimental thingy. Some of the materials have been bought and delivered last week. The Ogres must have been arranging things and working with it." Luhan stated.

"Fancy finding Ogres experimenting here. Or maybe there was another guy looking over the place since I saw some human tools and a computer? I didn't know Ogres knew how to use computers." Kris shakes his head on the thought he shares.

"I guess someone us behind this and we still need to find some more clues to their whereabouts. I've found some little ripped piece of paper here but it doesn't make sense." Tao hand the piece of paper to the guys. It seems to be a recipe but with wider ingredients.

"That is a code for alchemist you clever Tao. I might need to decipher this thought and bring it to Himchan hyung." Jonggup excitedly said and moves away from them to fax the piece of paper to the said warlock.

"Good. And we need to visit the black market afterwards because some of the materials are from the underground. And it means we need to spend some money over it." Suho said rather unhappy.

"Come on, it might be fun! Besides what is the reason if we only uses some of our funds? It will cost you a penny.' Xiumin snorted to the cheeky vampires that snorts at him.

"And I'll make sure you will not spend it to some useless things. Believe me when I say I will be watching you!" Suho eyes and gestures for Xiumin and to Tao. "Also you panda!" 

"What?! I didn't waste my money to all food, I've bought only some plushie and weapons." Tao defended.

"Yeah, 'some' that cost a lot because you decided to fill your room with lot's of plushies!" He shriek in exasperation.

"Easy there! Breathe Myeonie.... breathe in and out!!" That's it!" Xiumin guides Suho who felt like having a panic attack. He rubs his back in playfull manner. 

"Stop it! Now you are making fun of me!" Suho gritted his teeth. 

"Uhm so before you guys fang out with each other, we need to look out for D.O 'coz the guy with a cloak that we saw on the time flower indicated they needed a strong Fae and if that is true, Kyungie might be in danger 'coz the fact that he is a hybrid makes him powerful than any other Fae." Luhan reminded them and they nods. 

"Get some rest or have something to distract with and Kris, no petting creatures okay?!" He reminds the hunter that groans but nods eventually and heads towards his room.

"Hey Tao. You didn't happen to have the urge to drink his blood right?!" Luhan and Xiumin asks the retreating panda.

"Uhmmm... of... of course not! I just did that to stop the bleeding 'cause it can attract more enemies." Tao defended while he wave his hand in front of them.

"Really?! And you think you can hide your smell from him. I'm warning you, don't try to mess around the hunters because in nature, they are the one who kills our kind." Xiumin said seriously to him making him gulp and nod his head in response.

"You should go easy on him. He wasn't been born when the hunting beguns." Luhan said.

"It's not that I've been harsh on him or the humans. It is just the image of my mom killed by a hunter reminds me of the great war between the races. Just when I thought I was over it." Xiumin massage his temples and Luhan pats his back.

"What you need is a warm drink and playing with the creatures. Go get yourself a drink and loosen up." Luhan gestures him to get a drink as he pushes the older vampire. Just then, Baekhyun decided to appear.

"Looks like I missed the meeting!" He cheerfully said but Luhan knew something was off.

"You doing great?! How was your brother?" Luhan asks.

"Fine. He was having a nightmare a while ago but he calms down now after I sung him a lullaby. The mission today just wears him out. Good thing we came huh?!" Baekhyun teases Luhan.

"Yeah. Sorry I was a jerk not knowing why you both keep it mum. My hunch of you guys following us was right after all." Luhan playfully .

"Yeah right. I guess that makes sense. I just felt he would be happy because he uses his ability and nature but after the fight with the Fae, he seems to be more depressed." Baekhyun wonders and sighs.

"That is because the Fae that he fought was his brother Yunho." Baekhyun was taken a back by the information.

"Yeah, he didn't tell me that though, but I just happen to read his mind after I saw the look on his face. Good thing he controls it calmly and before he went haywire, I calmed him down." Luhan continues the explaining.

"Good thing you are there or I will definitely freak out 'coz i don't know what to do." Baekhyun gazes through window and the scenery through the image below them. 

"Well, good thing he trusted us guys and he even consider us his family that time. He really treasure us, especially you as his new brother. You should be proud." Luhan pats him and said he will just go checking on the others while the other has his gaze over the window.

Morning came and they are residing peacefully to their house and a familiar boy is cooking in the kitchen with a help of two hunters Lay and Chanyeol.

After preparation towards the breakfast, the other guys (hunters) decided to start their day with the breakfast bread, egg bacon and some fruits and pancakes.

"I wonder when will the guys will get up?!" Sehun asks. 

"They will be up by 2 up to 5 afternoon I guess since the deal with your company was finished so they just do their daily job." D.O informs them. 

"Oh, is that so? How about the training?" Chen asks while eating his food.

"That is somehow still continues. And Luhan hyung wants you to read some books about monsters since our fathers send a message that you don't need to go to the company anymore. They just said to go to school and and helps the vampires." Chanyeol explains. 

"Okay. Hey something is slithering by my feet!! Ouch!!!" Chen shouted and jump towards his chair and raise his feet. 

"A snake!!!!" he shouted and the others gasp and get on their feet and freak out.

"What's with the loud noise!!!" Baekhyun starts to shout at them making the other guys froze in place and he accidentally wakes up Luhan and Xiumin.

A slithering thing was evident under the table with a shiny thin. What amuses them is when they saw a familiar baby dragon and unicorn eating below.

Lay and Kris now felt the attention towards them as they look at each other saying "Busted!"
