 "THERE'S A FREAKING FAE HERE!!"

 

The word echoes along the black market that caught up many attention including the two battling creature in the arena. 

 

"!!" Tao exclaim as all the creatures move to the owner of the voice into a stampede earning a confused and scared human on the bench. 

 

Tao jumps out after the 'mini sparring like' battle that the two have to reach his companion. Good thing his enemy doesn't mind him leaving. After some creatures that runs over them, Kris was hugging Sehun in a protective manner when Tao decided to show up and grabs them.

 

"Let's get to the others!" Kris instructed and they both nod and Tao decided to use his ability then the squirming creatures suddenly stop from moving making Sehun and Kris gape in shock but Tao have grab them both then leap from one monster to another.

 

"Stop struggling or I might release you both for the creatures here to eat you. You're both heavy." Tao said to the two and they both still on the vampires grasps. 

 

When Tao release the time to the spot where their companions in the middle of a blazing blizzards and kept all the creatures away from distinguishing their face but Xiumin and Tao had an eye contact and Tao decided to use his ability again and hold the two companion and reverse some time just enough before they heard a piercing scream. Xiumin just killed the witch and Tao together with the two grabs the other hunters and sleeping D.O. Xiumin decided to retreat and crystallize the witch's mouth before she can speak. Meanwhile, he others thought of deja vu but the older decided to go away from the scene before someone might caught them. 

 

When they in the normal streets, Xiumun gave a handkerchief to Tao that the other accept because of the evident blood oozing from his nose which he covers quickly. Seeing Tao grasps the hanky, Kris give his hanky because some spot that he forgot to wipe and Tao bow down as thanks and the tall guy holds him by the shoulders.

 

"You know, the scene just while ago makes me feel like deja vu. And before I knew it, Tao, Kris and Sehun are already here." Kai was confused and at the same time bewildered by the happenings.

 

"That was Tao's ability to control the time. He manage to reverse the time before the monsters came or the can cause us trouble." Xiumin hissed as they make their way back to the van while Chanyeol carries D.O carefully.

 

"I just wish no one is above because I still can't control it fully because I still have lots to work on." Tao just slumps his body on the front seat near Kris who will drive as the other gets to their seat. 

 

"That is just okay since you are not a full grown vampire yet, you just came in time. But you still have lots to work on in the future." Xiumin said as he takes a look in the sleeping D.O and back his gaze to the window. Irritation is evident on his face.

 

On the middle seat was Sehun, Chen Lay and Xiumin, then at the back was Kai, Chanyeol and the sleeping D.O. They all can sense some tense atmosphere when Kai decided to speak.

 

"Sorry. It's all my fault that we got into that situation. If only I didn't insist to go to that fortuneteller. I didn't even know she was a witch." Kai slumps his shoulder and waits for the other to outburst.

 

"You what!!" Xiumin growls when he heard the information and looks to Kai and change his eye color to red. Kai started to struggles to breath just grasps his hand to his neck.

 

"Stop that! You are killing him! What done is done and we are still alive here don't you think that is enough?" Chen holds Xiumin and he release his grasps from Kai but decided to turn his anger towards Chen who gulps at the sudden attention.

 

"Hyung!!! Stop that!! It's also my fault since I didn't let them continue on our track." Chanyeol puts decided to touch the vampire but was taken aback when Xuimin hissed at him and orders Kris to stop the car and get out.

 

"Where are you going?!" Tao called him back.

 

"I need some space before I kill one of you." The sentence makes them frozen as he decided to walk away. 

 

"He needs someone to watch him. He is not on his self." Tao announced worriedly. But since the others are scared, no one speaks until they hear a certain boy wakes up asking what happened. 

 

"Where's Xiumin hyung?" He asks innocently. 

 

"That's it! I'm gonna find him and you guys go ahead to the house." The cheeky bones said and grabs his jacket and money to rush over the vampire. He heard them said good luck before they drive away which he frowns 'coz he knew luck is always not on his side.

 

He was near the park with the big tree near the plaza. There are quite few people walking since it was already near 3 in the morning and the streets light are illuminating their way when he heard a faint rustle near the corner. He follow it and saw the missing male but he was struck to his feet. There are dead werewolves around and two woman trembling while Xiumin tears another on his grasp. Before the peach hair turns his attention to the woman, Chen struck his weapon on the ground and that changes the vampires attention to him making him gestures the two girls to get the hell away from the scene which they oblige shaking.

 

"What am I going to do with you?" Chen exasperatedly rolls his eyes from the vampire. Two things are definitely on his mind right now. That the elder will definitely kill him, or he will him fast. He couldn't deny the fact that what he saw on the underground makes him felt goosebumps for the sight how can the clam vampire loose his cool and go onto a killing spree. 

 

He forgot that the vampire was in front of him when he was push on the wall harshly making him hit his head and release the grip on his whip. He groans in pain when he felt a jot breathe on his face, that wakes him up the Xiumin is so close to him and ready to kill him with arms pushing him onto the wall. He wants to talk but he is too shock or mesmerized by the eyes of the elder before he unconsciously turns his head to the side making the other to gain full access on his neck which the vampire took harshly.

 

"Ack...!! That hurts you ungrateful vamp!" Chen said in between the pain of the teeth on his neck and nails digging on his shoulder. He knew for sure that the older is taking his anger on him.

 

"T..that's right, keep drinking till I'm dead. W..where is your cool now?" Chen said as he struggles free from the vampire when he felt he already knock some senses to him then pushes him away. His legs felt jelly so he falls down while the wall supports him. The vampire was left in wide eyes and mouth opens when he notice that the familiar person is now sitting in front of him and grabs his neck revealing some blood to drip.

 

Xiumin was taken aback of his action and leans forward to Chen cautiously.

 

"What? Still not satisfied? How about the other side. I...I don't mind..just..just don't hurt another person till you come into your senses." He know felt the pain of his torn flesh since Xiumin not only on his neck but he also bit him there really hard.

 

"Oh my gosh...I...I'm sorry!" Xiumin didn't know what to do and grab the hissing male with gentleness. 

 

"Yeah, no need to feel sorry. I know you are not on your own mind." The camel still sits down. 

 

"H..hey I'm trying to be nice here!" Xiumin said as he grabs his shoulders.

 

"And you dig your nails there. Now you are starting to apologize, how about a thank you next, it's not that hard." Chen smiles to the other which blinks in confusion then let out a chuckle.

 

"You know, for somehow who just lunge to an aggressive vampire and offers himself, you are definitely a whiny one. Here, let me clean that up." Xiumin swat Chen's hand on his neck as he the tore flesh back in place.

 

Chen felt a warm sensation on his neck as the vampire it up and and he started to grip the vampires shoulders tight. The vampire was also in deep pleasure when he decided to and it upwards up to the jaw line and have full access on his lips as they both fight for dominance but the hunter wins. When the both release to gasp some air, they are both flushed in red since they are both feeling the heat sensation of their warm lips and tongue battling each other until Chen starts to speak.

 

"You know, for someone who have a cold ability, you knew how to warm up someone." Chen's gaze on him was thick as Xiumin chuckles a little and decided to stands up and help the hunter up with a little shaking of course.

 

"Now what?" Chen asks and felt his neck not torn apart but the stings is left in there. 

 

"What? Don't tell me you want to continue because I will definitely kill you if you insist that. Now let's go back before I start to regret what have happen." Xuimin said as he grabs onto him and before Chen could protest, they are now flying on the roof towards their house.

"I should have guess this all along. I was too reckless to let Kyungsoo go to the market." Luhan said.

 

"Luckily Xiumin dispose the hindrance. Now I wish some powerful creatures doesn't eavesdrop on their encounter." Baekhyun said while the guys are situated on the living room trying to assess what had just happen.

 

D.O is evidently sulking around from the information and bows his head low. The puppy is now wiggling and his hand trying to cheer him up and barks excitedly when he smiles and ruffles his fur affectionately.

 

"You guys better sleep since its your school vacation, we will be practicing long enough for preparing you guys to another big fight we might encounter." Suho said shooing them to bed.

 

"He is right. Let's all rest up and conserve energy. We might need a lot of it." Kris claps his hand and they all went to bed.

 

Right after the hunters went to bed, the vampires are left as they went towards the sulking male near the window.

 

"The witch is right. I am just a nuisance to all of you. It might be a good idea if I just go away or even..." 

 

"Shut it!!! Not another word or I swear to rip your hair out of your head and feed you to the hellhounds." Baekhyun decided he have enough so he cuts the drama out just in time when Chen and Xiumin decides to appear.

 

"After all we've been through? No thanks!" Chen jokes that earns a clearing of throat by Suho making Chen to go forward to his room.

 

"I think I wanna go to bed now. *fakes a Yawn* Boy I'm really tired, how about you? No. Good! Then I'll go ahead. Night, night." He fled upstairs with Xiumin shouts to get treated before slipping.

 

The other vampires gaze through Xuimin with shock expression. Seems like the latter notice their stares as he decided to sit back down with them.

 

"Hey Kyungie, are you alright now?" Seeing the other nods makes him smile but their gaze is very scrutinizing so he looks towards them.

 

"What?" He raises his eye brows at them. 

 

"Really Minnie? I thought never to trust them." Luhan sarcastically said.

 

"Well, it seems that they are not that bad people to know after all just what you tried to tell us." Xiumin shyly admitted that he just turn a liking on their group and view them on the lighter side as they sighs.

 

"Since it's New year's Eve today, I think we should let this evening pass.As well we better ditch the training first and let them enjoy since the guys doesn't even remember to enjoy their Christmas day. We definitely need a break and still, we need someone to look after you Kyungie since there might be a lot of trouble starting now. Trust your intuition and survival instinct, lastly don't hesitate to seek hep from us." Luhan said to them and pats D.O's back that turns his head towards them.

 

"Yeah!!! More goodies for me!!! Heheh...Hey Kyung, I want a spaghetti, mind if you want to cook me some? I'm starving." Tao whines and went to the kitchen with the pup. 

 

"Hey, do you have a name for him?" Baekhyun asks D.O who keep silent as he thinks a name. 

 

"How about Bambam? I'm sure he'll like it." Baekhyun proposed to D.O since that was the name of the dog that barks happily.

 

"You're right. He likes it and from now on, I'm gonna call you Bambam." D.O lifts the pup that wags his tail barking happily liking his new master. 

 

"Easy, you'll wake the others up. Let's go cook. Do you hyungs want some spaghetti too?" The younger asks, they all nods 'coz who are they to refuse the fine cooking.

 

"We better organize our things and supplies for the upcoming season and Xiumin, will you get that blood supply, maybe some of it. You almost went harshly to Chen so before you went berserk again please." Suho said.

 

"I guess so." Xuimin replies with a smirk.

The smell of fresh bread, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruits and pancakes rushes from the kitchen when their cook decided to take a sleep but not before a nice hot bath. He tiredly scoop his pup, Bambam, to take a bath together that go noticeable by his hyungs. 

 

"Where are you going?" Suho asks D.O.

 

"I'm going to take a bath before going to sleep with Bambam." He yawns afterwards making Suho, Luhan and Baekhyun blinks at the same time.

 

"No!!!" They both said at the same time making him flinch at the raise of their voice.

 

"Well, you can go to sleep now and maybe bath after you wake up because I don't want you to catch a cold. Just leave the bathing of Bambam to us." Baekhyun offers making the pup whimper then the others look at the pup.

 

"B..but I.... fine... so I guess I will sleep with Bambam." He give up and retreat to his bed shared with Kai. 

 

"You're sleeping with a dog?" Suho widens his eyes in the process.

 

"Yeah, I cannot leave him out there cold so I'm gonna sleep with him." D.O replies.

 

"But that's a dog. What if it wakes you up or mess with your room?" Luhan justifies.

 

"Then I'll be the one who will be responsible for it." He yawns unconsciously. "It's just a dog, hence a pup hyungs, don't get jealous." He chuckles.

 

"I'm going to sleep now. You better too hyungs. Good night, or should I say morning. Bye!" He politely bows then shut the door close.

 

"We better set some standards to Bambam or Kyungie when he wakes up later. Remember that is no ordinary pup." Baekhyun hissed and they all agree.

Kai wakes up with a sticky sensation near his cheeks. He frowns his eyebrow and slowly open his eyes and he jolted up when he saw a thick fur with beady eyes on his sight. 

 

"Shoot!" On instinct, he kicks the pup away from his bead making it whimper and jumps towards the Fae's sleeping figure. When he saw it, he clasps a hand over his mouth then hesitantly moves towards the sleeping male with trembling dog. 

 

"Sorry. I didn't mean kick you. You just startle me." He touch the pup that is curled up near to D.O's chest and decided to sleep there while Kai is petting him.  

 

Kai then shifted his gaze towards the sleeping male in front of him. Normally, he wakes up without the make near him but now, he knew that the male have just gotten his sleep because the other would wake up already by his scream. He stop petting the pup when he is sure that it is sleeping already while he eyes the Fae. He is now noticing his adorable features. His button nose, plump lips, thick eyelash that complements well with his dark hair. He really is mesmerize about the way he looks so innocent and pure while sleeping well as the rise and fall of his chest when he breathes. 

 

Good thing D.O is leaning on his side facing him while imitating a fetal position with a pup on his chest. He finds it cute though and pecks on his fore head unconsciously then put the blanket around him up to his chest. Then he sit down again to trace the sleeping figure when a deep voice startled him.

 

"Take a picture. It will last." It was Chanyeol and he falls to his hissing on the male. 

 

"If are done fantasizing on him time to go down stairs. Kris wants to talk about something before you start molesting the kid. " The giant snickers before he leaves as Kai follow his advice. He really snaps some pictures and then do some of his morning rituals before going down stairs.

 

He saw all his friends downstairs eating breakfast on the table so he decided to seat down with them. 

 

"Since it is New year's eve today and forgot to prepare yesterday, I want us to prepare just like we used to before, of course with the guys who are also with here. And I want it to be a memorable one 'coz I have just heard from Luhan hyung that they don't celebrate Christmas eve and New year that much because of how long they have lived through and they think it is all they same." Kris explains to them that their training plans have been cancelled enough for them to play around and enjoy.

 

The other guys are left in excitement and shock because how can they forget about the Christmas eve? Maybe that is because of the busy sched and their missions.

 

"Really?! I didn't know they are quite that boring. So does that means D.O too?" Kai asks the older male which nods in response.

 

"Tao said that during his stay with his mother, he is kept well hidden and isolate from the rest of the Fae since you cannot see a successful hybrid being born and envied. Since when Baekhyun took him, they couldn't find anything to open up the boy and get him out specially on parties or gatherings so i guess it is his and Tao's first Christmas eve slash combine New year." He informs them.

 

"I think we still haven't got any plans for tonight. It will not be bad joining them along for this eve." Sehun smiles widely. The guys suddenly nods in agreement.

 

"I guess that will work out. Any plans, hyung?" Chanyeol asks.

 

"I have it but they are still up to you. Sehun and Chen you will be on the designing part of this room. Talk about the concepts and what to buy. Chanyeol and me will be buying some food to eat for the Christmas eve. Lay and Kai will be on the music and some technicals. You can get some in your house if you want to." Kris directs them. After distributing some works and doing the canvassing and brainstorming. They are all headed to the car to buy and get what they need to do after Kris dropping them off to their places.

It was already 3 in the afternoon when the nocturnal group wakes up and found the house in full decorations with the scent of some food being cook.

 

"It's about time you guys wake up! Come help us in the preparation." Lay invites them handling some decors to be put in the Christmas tree. 

 

"Uhm.... what are these for?" D.O asks blankly with a pup that was eager to play the other decors which Chen and Sehun are arranging.

 

"Those are decors for the New year's eve today slash forgotten Christmas to be put in out tree. See?"'Chen explains to D.O.

 

"Hey, who let the dog out? He is going to ruin the decors!" Sehun shouted as he play a little tug of war battle with one of ribbon from the pup.

 

"Easy. I will play with the pup outside while you guys help them." Suho said.  

 

"Christmas?!" D.O blinks again. "I think it's too late for Christmas. I also don't kniw what is special about it."

 

"You know, the food, gifts and Santa stuff." Tao said to D.O which is still confused.

 

"Sorry but I don't know what are you talking about." Then the vampires chuckles when Tao was taken aback by D.O's word but he doesn't give up while the others just watch carefully.

 

"Okay. Christmas is the spirit of giving ,sharing and also some religion stuff but I will not discuss that further. Santa Claus is the one who gives gifts to young people during Christmas eve. He usually came down from chimneys when people are asleep and leaves gifts on the socks." Tao excitedly said with hand gestures to who D.O still doesn't get it because he was isolated enough by his mom.

 

"So Santa is a thief that goes down the chimney and gives gift? I'm confused!?" He tilted his head in confusion. 

 

"Yes...I mean no!!! I mean... urgh.... hyung!!!" Tai exasperatedly groans when he heard a lot of laughter afterwards.

 

Baekhyun then comes to the rescue and back hug his broter. "Well, Santa is just another figure of Christmas. Maybe I'll let you watch some stuffs with that afterwards." He saw Tao mouthed thanks afterwards.

 

"Besides, Santa is just a figure. We all know he is not real and Christmas have just pass yesterday" Baekhyun teases Tao who whines in protest.

 

"He is real! Last year he give me a Gucci bag." He stick his tongue out. "And if Santa is not real then we shouldn't be also real but here we are." He announces.

 

"Tao, that was Luhan hyung's gift for you since you still insist on Santa so I went with him to buy him that and please, we are too cool to be compare with Santa." Xiumin said.

 

"Okay enough of the whinning. Why don't you guys help us so we can finish fast?" Kris suddenly appears and the vampires nods.

 

 

"I'm gonna help with the food." D.O walks towards the kitchen.

 

"Wait for me!" Tao shouts then follows D.O.

 

"I'm gonna help here with Xiumin." Luhan announces.

 

"I'll be with Suho since he is already out." Baek announces and they went with their respective group.

 

The rest of the afternoon went well as the preparation went by with a good flow. They are now situated near the fire place and watching some DVD movie with popcorns onc the side.

 

Then an unexpected ring by the door followed by a bark of Bambam get them distracted. Kris was the one who get the door and as surprise when he saw familiar figures. Meanwhile, the vampires have put their limiters and act normally.

 

"Fancy meeting you here."Kris greeted them with a smile.

 

"Yeah, just dropping by since Jungkook and the guys are so whiny." Rapmon returns the greet with a smile together with his group.

 

"Really? D.O might be surprise and the others. Come on in, they are in the living room." Once Kris clears on the way, the boys suddenly rushes forward and fall flat in the mahogany floor that makes a loud thump gathering attention.

 

"Oh... Are you okay?" Lay who is near asks the four guys but before they answer Suga already step on the three boys, V, Jimin and J-hope on the floor making them grunt in pain.

 

"Hey Bambi!! We've brought Cakes and D.O.nuts." the guy with cool outfit Suga announces. 

 

"Wow, you didn't really have to. Uhm... you are still stepping on them Suga hyung." D.O politely said.

 

"Oh.. I though I'm stepping on a doormat." Suga teases and sits more after he wave the food to them making the others whine.

 

J-hope tried to toss Suga by standing but before he did, the man is already standing few feet away from them giving the food towards to D.O. 

 

"Thanks Suga hyung, even the food was unnecessary." D.O bought the food over table.

 

"Why don't you guys stay here for a while?" Xiumin offers when all of guys are face to face with them.

 

"Okay, since we are just here to drop by and we still have few minutes before we do go somewhere." Suga answers for them and they headed outside.

 

" Proper introduction first since some of you guys doesn't know all of us and vice versa." Xiumin gestures the others to introduce themselves better. Tao, Luhan, and Suho are the only person they still haven't met yet in person same as Suga, Jin and V to the others.

 

After introductions, they decided to eat some barbeque with some oriental dish together with some bottles of Soju and cola drinks aside. Somehow, there was a uneasiness between Tao towards the others and Luhan can feel it. The others have too. Good thing Bambam was kept on the room of D.O since Suho instructed it when another ring at the door was heard and this time, Chen decided to get the door for them. 

 

"What a fancy house you have here." Suga compliments their house as the group of boys replies it with 'thanks'. 

 

"So you do live here together with your bosses?" He asks Baekhyun.

 

"Yup. It started for about a month or so." He replies after a sip of soju.

 

"Hmmm... but how do you manage to get your rooms?" V asks.

 

"You see, since it is our rest house, and we have an extra room for guests, we decided to share some rooms for us to save a space." Chanyeol replies making them heard an 'oh' but when they process it right, the boys started to gasp and ask again.

 

"So, does this mean you guys sleep together? with each other?" Jimin asks earning a nod.

 

"Who is sleeping with D.O hyung?" Jungkook suddenly blurted out.

 

"Me. He sleeps with me." A wide grin was plastered in Kai's face making them all tackle Kai and Suga held the boy protectively.

 

"Why doesn't you sleep with your hyung?" Suga check the boy in his arms cling around his shoulders for answers.

 

"That is for him not to be dependent over his hyung." Suho chuckled at the others protectiveness to D.O as well as their closeness to him. He knew thhat they meant no harm to the boy. 

 

"Hey guys! Look who visit us!" Chen calls their attention to see the Yongguk and his group over the living room. 

 

"Ayohh!!! Le'go!!!!" Zelo suddenly appears out from living room suprising them all including Rapmon's group.

 

"Whoaa.... what's with the sudden visit today?" Kai suddenly blurted out of nowhere. 

 

"Zelo?!" J-hope suddenly got up from his seat while staring at the other and vice versa.

 

"Hoseok!!!" Zelo suddenly attacks J-hope in a hug making all of them look at how they palyfully roll and lightly punch each other.

 

"What do we have here?" A deep voice caught their attention and saw Yongguk together with his group, Daehyun, Himchan, Jonggup and Youngjae on his side.

 

"Bang.....I should have known." Rapmon suddenly stands up, focus his eyes on Yongguk. 

 

His group follow his gestures as well as J-hope who stands up after rolling with Zelo in the grass. Feeling the tension all, the hunters and vampires look at them in confusion. 

 

"What the hell you are doing here?!" Bang said with a shock voice making them surprise by his sudden pale face.

 

Suddenly, Himchan lunges forward but luckily Yongguk stop him before he attacks them but the evident red eyes from Rapmon's group was clearly to them to indicate they are not human and somehow, these two group doesn't have good terms in the past.
