"Project their . They still have time for selca and they said they barely had time." Kai allows them to look over the tweets and posts in instagram account of Kookie with some wacky pose except for the shy D.O squishing him in the center. Meal time, watching movie time and wacky time was seen by the frustrated Kai. 

 

"Easy there. He will be here just in a few minutes just like what his friends stated so why are you fired up? Have you seen their miniature project? It was better than what Kris have done in our architecture subject." Chanyeol praised their work. They are now hovering over Chen's monitor with some of D.O's guardian.

 

"Hey, look at this video. " Tao is pointing over a video of Kookie who is obviously trying hard to focus on D.O at first but made a success later on with the doe- eyed boy sitting on the table singing an English song. Although the video is somehow shaking, they can't help but to be shock when they heard him sing. This also goes to the guardians who doesn't even know D.O have the skill. 

 

"Wow, I bet he can be a good singer someday." Sehun said. 

 

"Ehem.. excuse guys we have visitors here and hey even bought us steam buns. They say they are classmates of D.O. and look, one of them looks a like Baekhyun." Lay announces when he came into the living room and with V, Jhope, and Jimin.

 

"Hi guys! We are here to get D.O's things since something came up and we need to do a project due to Friday." V spokes first for the them while the other guys are shock by the sudden appearance.

 

"Nice house, bit it's a bit small compare to ours right?" J-hope said.

 

"Hey! Why are you guys doing here?" Kai grumpily asks.

 

"Are you deaf or something? We are here to fetch something for Bambi." Jimin repeats as they slump into a seat.

 

" I thought he should be here by now. What takes him so long and did you call him Bambi just now?" Kai insists. 

 

" Wow, you surely are deaf, and why do you care? Are you his mum or something?" V asks annoyingly.

 

Kai shook his head while taken in awed.

 

"Are you his dad or near relatives or so?" J hope seconded and Kai just shrug again.  

 

"I'm his boss!!" He shrieks frustratedly.

 

"So it means you didn't have anything to do with him so cut being concern you erted boss." V said and they all stand.

 

"Why you peace of---" Chanyeol and Sehun state holding Kai and Kris is stuffing some bun over his mouth to shut up and Baekhyun suddenly appears out of the room. 

 

"Oh, you're already here? Well that was fast. I might come with you guys when you go home. I want to see my lil' bro after all. Why don't you all sit down? I think our roommates are rude for not letting you sit." Baekhyun glares at them.

 

" It's okay, we will be going also since Rapmon hyung is waiting outside. Umm..Are you sure you want to come?" Jimin hesitantly asks Baekhyun.

 

"Is that baozi i'm smelling?!" Xiumin rushes out the door at the smell of steam buns and he grabs some from Lay. 

"Ummm, yes. Well, we need to go before our hyung get mad at us." V reminded them.

 

"Is that cool monster truck is your car?" Sehun and Chen's eyes went widen when they saw the big red monster truck at the front of their shared house." 

 

"Yeah. So let's go shall we?" Jimin smirks at them.

 

It was expected that Baekhyun will join them to visit D.O but the others who come along, Kai, Xiumin, Chen and Sehun are not. They are following the monster truck along. The trip was not takes over a half hour and the car stop to a house along the subdivision with big white fence all over. The house can pass for a rest house with big pool and amazing garden. It is a house of two floors with a cool veranda that can be seen in the pool side. 

 

They park near the house as they are invited inside. They are greeted by a large living room and they all sit down at the sofa.

 

"Where's D.O?" Baek suddenly asks as he hangs the bag over his shoulders. 

 

"He is inside Jin hyung's room. You may go up stairs, Jimin, kindly accompany our visitor up." Rapmon instructed them to take a seat. "You boys show some courtesy while I go check the kitchen for something." 

 

"Mind if I come?" Xiumin asks for Rapmon and he gladly invites him.

 

"So, what do you think of our place huh? Very cozy right?" Jimin boasted their place. 

 

"It's cool really especially the roof" Sehun howls and grabs his foot when Kai stomps his. 

 

"It's quite cool but I prefer our house." Kai scoffs.

 

"Hey, you have a really nasty attitude huh? No wonder D.O is awkward with you." Jimin teases.

 

"Of course not. We are actually room mate to be exact. And we share the same bed." He smiled victorious.

 

"What?" J hope and Jimin jumps up and struggles Kai over the sofa and the others moves away. 

 

"Let them be. He deserve it." Chen stated and they all laugh at the gesture.

 

Rapmon and Xiumin are out in the kitchen with their drinks when they saw the three boys killing ( not literally) each other. 

 

"Ouch!" J-hope suddenly flinch at the stinging sensation be felt at Kai's pocket.

 

"Sorry. It must be the dagger." Kai fish the dagger out of his pocket and show it them and the three guys widen their eyes at the silver dagger with beautiful crest imprinted to it. 

 

"W..where did you get that?" Jimin asks with disbelieve.

 

"This, I bought it somewhere near an antique shop. I'm a huge antique collector." Kai lied when he saw the great glare given by Xiumin to him. 

 

"Well young man, you better not let other people see that in you 'coz it might bring a good attraction. That dagger seems to be pricey enough." Rapmon said as he lay the juices. 

 

On the other side, Sehun saw the change in color of the ring that Xiumin have but settle it aside when it changes back from red to black. He thought it must be a trick in the eyes. 

 

Baekhyun and D.O, together with V and Jin appears down the stairs and D.O's eyes where puffy and red while wearing a long shirt with long sleeve entirely covering his body from neck to hips and a loose sweat pants making him look like a little more younger than his actual age. 

 

"What happened?" Sehun approaches him and so are the others.

 

"N..nothing. I just missed my hyung." He shyly said and they gave him a pat over his shoulders but he quickly hides from them and hides over his brother from his looks.

 

"Hey, that's only natural. Are you sure the project cannot be done alone and you need to be here that long?" Xiumin asks. 

 

"Yes, we need to have a documentary about it and a film making project so I guess I need to be here so we can pass it on time." He said. 

 

"Let him be for a while. Now we have some job to do today so.. um.. we better get moving. Thanks for the hospitality and keeping D.O safe." Baekhyun said with seriousness of his voice. D.O saw this and clasps at his hyung's shirt like a child.

 

"Don't worry, i'll just have something to do. See you at Friday." Baekhyun smiles towards D.O which nods. Something was off with Baekhyun and the others felt it. They bid their goodbye and head towards their car, Baekhyun driving the wheel.

 

"Where are Kookie and Suga hyung?" D.O asks.

 

"They have something to do. For now, why don't you kids play along by the pool?" The boys cheered and tag D.O along.

Baekhyun was driving the wheel like a crazy man when they got far from the house and went towards Kyungsoo's school. 

 

"What the hell Baekie!! Do you want us to die??" Xiumin frantically shouted when he rushes outside the car to follow Baekhyun. The three humans are dumbfounded but decided to follow.

 

"No, I want a certain someone to die!" He shouted while flaming with anger. Some students are practically gossiping over them as Baekhyun shoves anyone on his way and enters the Director's office slamming the door wide open.

 

Yongguk was surprise at his seat at the sudden intrusion when he saw a particular vampire followed by familiar faces. He is currently reading some reports when Baekhyun slams his hand towards his table.

 

"What is wrong Baekhyun? You know I can't entertain you during classroom hours except when it is about school matters." Mr. Bang said in annoyance.

 

"Oh, this is a school problem alright." He rolled his eyes in annoyance as anger fuels him. "Where is that Mr. Jung and some people that bullied my Kyungie." 

 

"What?" They were all surprise by Baek's words. So that is the reason why D.O's eyes are puffy and red.

 

"One of his classmate's hyung said that to me and I forced D.O to spill it out. It turns out that one of your professor here molested my brother to pass when he accuse him for cheating and using some influence to pass the test when both know that Kyungie is born smarter than any other kids here. Heck, he even wants him on his bed and pushes some students to bully him. Now where is that ing son of a teacher?!?!" 

 

Right now they are all in shock as the information sink in and they also feels anger raises inside them. How can anyone do that to D.O? Especially a teacher. Bang Yongguk started to punching some numbers on his phone and address over the phone looking for Mr. Jung. After a few minutes, announcement about Mr. Jung is heard over the speaker and he slams down the phone. 

 

 

"I'm sorry. I guess I over look things. Let me deal with this one. Gosh, that bastard tried something to one of my subordinate." Yongguk clench his teeth in annoyance.

 

"No, I want him out of this school or maybe kill him and rip his intestine open and feed it to the ghouls." Baekhyun is pacing back and forth for the information. It has been last week and that is why he is persistent to do mission with them which all fits. He is now pulling his hair in frustration and his slam his hand over a table with vase as it crashes into the floor.

 

"Calm down Baek. You need to breathe before you start doing something irrational." Xiumin is instructing him to seat down and gives him a glass of water.

 

Yongguk, on the other hand massage his temples from the news and the three vampire sudden stiffen at the same time.

 

"What is it?" Kai asks when he cannot understand what is just happening.

 

"Blood smell." Yongguk eyes shine and the door opens revealing Zelo in a rush. 

"Mr. Jung has been attack in the corridor of the left wing. He have any scratches and his gut is wide open. Himchan hyung and Daehyun hyung ate controlling the crowd. You better hurry hyung!" Zelo practically pants when he report about it and they all went towards the crime scene.

 

Lots of blood have been spilled down to the floor and many scratches, bruise and open wounds are seen to Mr. Jung's death body. It seems like a wild animal is unleash and the poor man was its victim. He is a man within late thirties is now unrecognizable.  

 

"Damn!! Someone or something must get him. Are you sure this is not your doing Baek?" Xuimin states when he saw the dead man in some pieces. "Look like your wish has been heard by someone." 

 

"Oh.. gross!! How can anyone do this?" Chen and the others covers their mouth and nose from the foul smell of blood and the gross situation. 

 

" Some student said that maybe some hooligans teach him a lesson 'coz many of the students resent him." Daehyun explains. 

 

Another shriek was heard near the corridor and a black fast figure passes through the window. By the time they went to take a look. No sign of the shadow was seen nor bushes of faint noises. They all went towards the roof top leaving Himchan behind with Daehyun. What they saw was unexpected, 4 groups of boys are laying there with some scratches and deep wounds. Only one of them are conscious that is shivering with fright as he went towards the corner. They try to approach him but he was yelling and screaming about fangs and claws which indicates one thing. The one which attacks them is a beasts.

 

"How dare this bastards do this inside my premises? Well actually, I think those people deserve it for abusing D.O. But even so, how dare them?" Yongguk starts to mumbling.

 

"Anyways, we will handle the situation here. For now, enjoy your day off and tell D.O I am sorry for the trouble. I will keep an eye for him next time to keep him safe." He assures them.

"How come we are the only one here?" Tao asks Xiumin and Lay while playing psp with Kris.

 

"They are all busy with something and some have business to attend with." Kris answers while punching the correct combo to beat Tao.

 

"And why do I play this stuff even I always win?" Tao raised an eye brow at Kris who is just beaten for the nth time by the panda vampire.

 

" Arghh.. 'coz I win the bet that you dare with me. Now stop whining and get me some snack and cola." Kris lay on the floor looking at the t.v. screen flashing 'You Lose!'.

 

"Stupid human and his rules." He cursed.

 

"And yet you still obey him because of your stupid ego of the dare." Xiumin chuckles as he picks some movie to watch. "and while you're at it, make some club house to. I want to watch a movie." 

 

Tao let out a 'tsk' and resisted the urge to roll his eyes of his hyung. He knew that if he back out of his words the hunter will make fun of him and that will hurt his pride so he play along. 

 

"Here!"He place the food into the plater. "Anymore wish?" Tao asks with a fake smile.

 

"Ummm, let me think about it. For now, none. So let's watch some movie first here then train after the guys decided to show up. Any movie recommendation?" Kris move his gaze to Chanyeol. 

 

 

"Let's watch what is interesting here. So you guys pick between Life of pi, 3 idiots, Pitch perfect or Frozen flower. Wait, you have frozen flower?" Tao's eyes went wide.

 

"Yeah,we're buy it just out of curiosity here so no worries. You know, so don't make it a big issue. You guys seen many much gross scene if you think about it. Besides, we are open to same relationship, even Kai and Chen denies it." Kris make the point very smooth that the vamps just hungs their mouth. 

 

"I like to watch 3 idiots so just stuck it there." Lay orders. "So, what does Luhan hyung is doing by the pool? Who is he taking too?" 

 

"No one particularly. Maybe he is just practicing some reports so don't mind him much and let's just watch." Suho states.

 

Meanwhile Luhan is busy talking by himself over the water in the pool. Or they thought so. He give a wide smile before getting inside.

 

"Hey, is that 3 idiots?" Luhan asks while he grab some sandwich. 

 

"Yeah, wassup'?" Tao asks then he just mouthed 'later' and he focus his attention back to the screen.

 

"Are you guys really are brothers? Or you just call yourselves brothers?" Lay suddenly asks out of nowhere that caught all of the occupants attention.

 

"Why do you suddenly asks?" Luhan asks.

 

"Just curious because you guys know all about us and for you guys, we don't . It seems to be unfair don't you think?" He is still looking on the screen. 

 

"Sounds legit. Okay, we will tell you some when the boys are back." Luhan looks towards Tao and Suho before answering the dimpled Chinese.

 

After the movie they are watching, it was late afternoon and the guys decided to show up. 

 

"What guys took you so long?" Chanyeol scoff.

 

"Sorry, something came up and you should never let Baekhyun drive the car if you guys want to live." Kai states and places his bought chicken to the table but flinch when he felt that the vampire slap his head.

 

"Yah! That in' hurts!" He snap at the vampire and turn his head away trying to let his limiter put aside.

 

"This idiot here decided to put his shiny dagger in public. Like he was like 'I'm a vampire hunter so come and get me killed' act. What is someone there is a beast and suddenly attacks you? You should think before you act and decided to sway your things like that." Baekhyun orders and Kai just shut his mouth for his own good. 

 

"Come here guys. We need to have a short bonding time here since we are stuck with each other." Luhan commands and they all take their seat whether in sofa or floor.

 

"So, to answer Lay's question about us , we are not all brothers like in a flesh but all like brothers 'coz we just stick with one another as you may say. Baekhyun came along last blue moon and D.O came last two years so he is the baby in our group. Same as Tao." Suho explains.

 

"Why does D.O came late even he and Baekhyun are brothers?" Lay blinks making the other hunters wait for the bomb to explode. 

 

"Because I didn't know until my father let me meet him into the woods. All of his kind are erased or wipe out as they call. His mother have hidden him very well. When we arrive to the woods, the group have been ambushed and most Fae are killed or sold but we found out that those who are sold all attempted suicide and die. He is really scared that time and it took us almost entire year to gain his trust and open up before he joins in our group. " Baekhyun answers them. 

 

"Who and why would they do that to Faes'?" Chen asks.

 

"It's because Fae are very powerful but gentle creatures. Long ago, Fae are aloof and shy on humans but when they go out of town or a country, humans try to take advantage of them and decided to hunt them. Because of this, they become very aggressive and destructive. Now, people avoid them because of their ability but monsters kill them and feed of their blood for power. Meanwhile, D.O is raised in an isolate place with full gentleness and care that there is no human interaction as well as to other monsters. That was the last resort for all the Fae that faced and hunts by enemies but it wass ambushed. That is the reason why we kept Kyungsoo's identity to D.O because some hunters might find him. The only person which know this information except us, are you guys and Yongguk so you better keep the information well. He is the last of his kind and his Fae ability is much powerful than his vampire ones that is why he didn't need to go to blood thirst like us." Suho fills in the details for them.

 

"Aside for you guys are always around each others, how do you guys met?" Xiumin ask in return.

 

"I think it was back in elementary days right?" Chanyeol tries to recall.

 

"Yep, I think that was the time when Lay had his accident that causes him to lost his memories but I can't remember what happened then." Kris wonders. 

 

"Oh, what a coincidence, I can't recall it also. Maybe it went to our subconscious mind so we forgot all about it?" Sehun said.

 

"Wow, you're vocabulary is improving maknae. I can't believe you have enrich it." Chanyeol proudly exclaim as the maknae stick his tongue out.

 

"Yeah yeah. And we all been friends by that time even we saw one another from parties, we gather up much after that incident."Chen said. 

 

"So what are your plans before the rest cuts off?" Lay asks.

 

"Probably practicing you guys and sleuthing about the notorious group. That assignment has been pass to us by the ups." Luhan said while eating his share of food.

 

"Is it always the hard job for you guys? Or you decided to pick or choose your own mission?" Sehun asks. 

 

"Most of the time Bang fills us in with mission and we can abort the mission if we want to but those are the rare times." Xiumin said.

 

"Oh. Is that so? So far do you have any lead about them?" Kris asks.

 

"Based from my sources, they own large group of night dwellers here and all of their files are deleted. Two vampires, three weres and two shifters are known to complete them. In our last mission, we have save a letter which Mr. Lee us sending some information about a letter to A which we don't know yet." Luhan said.

 

"So, is this a game of pretty little liars 'coz we don't know A? Ouch!" Kai suddenly buts in and Chanyeol spank him before he continue the conversation.

 

"Just eat your chicken Kkamjong!" Chanyeol insists and Kai just stick his tongue out.

 

"Let's go to our night routine guys and you hunters better to follow us in our cleaning. " Tao said trying to test their ability on the monster hunt.

 

"By the way, since you guys are going to join the dance competition with D.O's classmates, much better if we go there together and see what you got." Baekhyun announces and they all nodded. He reminds the others to not say a word over what had just happened to D.O at school. 

 

The vampires are situated at the rooftop of a building while the hunters are on a hidden alley. They saw some group of monsters as the hunters have some one way eyeglass that can see through some veil that makes them normal humans when in the glass, you can see a group of rotten ghouls with some zombie on their side.

 

"Let the hunting begins." A wide smirk was left on the vampires faces when they felt for the perfect timing with their red eyes glowing in the dark. The vampires drops to the ground and corners them with the correct ambush.
