***Five hours before the incident ***

"Where are we going?" D.O asks when Kai suddenly pulls him away from his brother tugging Bambam along with them.

"I'm bored hyung! Let's play on the nearby arcade, I'm sure Bambam like that idea too. Right Bambam?" Kai looks innocent to Bambam and the cute boy nods according to his plan. 

"Maybe you should just send a message to Baek-hyung and Chanyeol hyung instead." Bambam suggests and Kai went on alarm since Baekhyun will surely get on their way of fun. 

"Yeah... Later.. come on, I have a specific game in my mind. Let's go!" Kai pushes the two before Kyungsoo can pull out his phone start sending a text to his hyung. Good thing they have a magical pocket that holds the things that they have bought and rush towards the near arcades. 

But before they went to the arcade, they decided to eat some pizza, pasta and salad to gain some energy before playing. Their lunch was civil and more on Bambam and Kai do the talking then they decided to proceed to their destination.

"Wow!! I can't believe I just lost to a kid." Kai grumpily said as Bambam beat him in a game of Tekken since he wanted to showoff to D.O but Bambam just steal the spotlight from him. 

"I think that was just luck. Why don't we play another one?" Bambam suggests. 

"Nah, I'm bored. How about other games since this game is for babies." Kai scoff and saw his new game if choice, the Xbox game and decides to drag his two audience along with him. 

"Come on, I think he is just impressing us hyung." Bambam whisper to D.O who just blinks at the information.

"Really? But he is always like that. Doing what he wants to do. That is what he normally do." D.O looks at Bambam curiously as the other resist the urge to roll his eyes and facepalm because his new founder is really dense. Instead, he just pout and filling his cheeks with air cutely.

"Omo!! You look so cute!!" D.O widen his eyes in seeing the pouting male and hugs the male while ruffling his hair. 

"Yah! I'm still here you know. Stop being cutie over my squishy!!" Kai separates the two and hugs D.O instead with arms clinging to the others shoulders possesively. 

D.O, being uses by the others possessiveness and clingy attitude just huff and put his hand over Kai's arm. 

"See? I told you! He us molesting you!" Bambam points to Kai and gathers an unwanted attention. Once they felt gazes, D.O suddenly pulls away and moves quickly away from them. The two male follows and started to earn an apology from their action earlier. Luckily for them, D.O set the matter aside providing the two will cooperate with each other and tries not to attract much attention since that is in the least thing D.O wants too.

Before they went again to the Xbox game, something caught D.O's attention which the other two also saw. It was a cute blue penguin that is inside the claw machine. Suddenly, both of them got the message and they decided to try their luck at the claw even if the doe eyed male protested since it took them a lot of tries to get one. 

"Got it!" Kai suddenly announces and give the cute stuff toy to his hyung happily while Bambam is left sulking.  

"Are you sure you are just giving it to me? It took you a lot of money for it." D.O hesitantly took the stuff toy.

"Yup, it was intended for you in the first place." He smiles widely when D.O give him a smile and hugs the toy in his hand after a thanks.

"Come on, let's play on the Xbox. It is our turn now, right?" Bambam pulls D.O away from Kai simply just to shove Kai's dream bubble and he love to tease the other for his owner's attention.

D.O can't help but to cheer for the the two dancing male in front of him. Bambam surely knows some moves but he can't help to get mesmerized and be awes of Kai's flawless dance move in front of him even in doing the free style of the dance which surely gathers a lit of attention by now since Kai decides to get rid of his jacket. Many girls are cheering over for him and some men are also but the girls are louder. 

After the dance and their time was over, girls decided to take a picture of Kai and ask for autographs or compliments him more making him blush and forgot a certain audience he was impressing. 

D.O, who felt left out suddenly stands up and hesitate to come over to Kai since his full attention is in the new fans crowding him. One of the girls also accidentally pushes him aside making the stuff toy to roll nowhere in his eyes. 

Bambam luckily spot the toy and moves out of the crowd giving the toy to its owner. 

"You want to go somewhere?" Bambam suggest since he saw a little hint of jelousy, or envy on the little Fae. D.O shook his head.

" I don't want to ditch him, but I don't want him to be surrounded with that girls." He pouts and Bambam chuckles.

"Okay, I think I now what you will gonna do to get his attention back." Bambam shove him into a stage platform at the center if the place and decides to give him a mic. 

"B..but, I hate attention. I..it makes me nervous." D.O gives the mic back to Bambam who laughs again.

"You'll do fine hyung! Trust me. Just think we are all alone or I am Kai instead, arrasso?" He assures him with an approves sign and punch some song in the list which the latter knew. Tell me what is love.

At first, he was hesitant for a moment and his voice crack for a little but as he close his eyes and feel like he is alone with Bambam in the room, he relaxes and sing beautifully. Even Bambam was mesmerized, as well as Kai and the girls that crowded him went near the stage and saw D.O singing. After the song ended, there was a loud if applause heard followed by whistling and cheering for him. He even saw Kai near the stage applausing to him, of course, Bambam decided to record his performance as D.O shyly went down. Before Kai can compliment him, he saw D.O's face to go pale and pulls Bambam and Kai out of the place.

"Are you okay hyung?" Kai asked worriedly when D.O is not speaking for few minutes after his performance. Even Bambam is worried by now. Then D.O decided to stop and catch his breath. 

"Okay, that was embarrassing." D.O suddenly exclaimed making the two burst in laughter. 

"Are you serious? What you did in there us really great not embarrassing." Kai commented once he is done swiping the non extisting tears same as Bambam. 

"Hey, I wanna go somewhere, I think I saw a good skateboard a while ago so you guys go ahead and I'll just text you guys if I'm done." Bambam announce making the two question him.

"You don't want us to come?" D.O asks.

" I can handle it. It is just on the second floor and i will not that be long so why don't you go near the sky garden on this floor by that time hyung?" Bambam confidently said.

"Okay! Take your time. Let's go hyung." With that, Kai pulls D.O towards the sky garden on the fourth floor of the building without waiting for an answer from Bambam.

When they reach the sky garden locates at the veranda of the mall, there are also many people enjoying the man made garden with a bit of fresh air and taking some pictures. 

"Look hyung, let's take a picture in one of the seats there." Kai asks D.O to seat near a big tree where also, some of the couples are seating. When D.O doesn't speak of anything yet, Kai become disturb and can't help but to speak to him.

"What's wrong hyung? Don't you like the ambiance? We can get out of here if you want too." Kai said.

"No. Nothing is wrong. I just... missed my home all of a sudden that's all." D.O raised his knee and hug it while Kai just sit beside him. 

"Some of the grass here are real and also this big tree. You know, we used to leave inside a big tree like these and play a lot with my hyung 'coz my mom doesn't allow me to go outside or away from our tree so I am isolated from the others." D.O holds the tree reminiscing his past while Kai just keep silent since it is very rare for him to open up.

"Sometimes, when my mom is not looking and dad is away, my hyung will let me stray with him of course and we play and train in the meadows." Then he looks down and become sad. 

"But that was before he vanished that I was kept hidden even more. I saw him again in the cave during our mission though he is not the hyung I remember anymore." 

"Huh?" Kai tilted his head.

"He is the chimera that I killed and you know what is ironic in that? He even smiled at me when I killed him. Could you believe that?" Kai now hugs the male to his shirt trying to shield the male from the gaze of the others. Good thing people are busy doing their stuff and don't mind what they are doing.

"It's okay now. We know you've been through a lot even we don't know the exact details but we understand you." Kai tries to calm down D.O who is sobbing and grasping on his shirt tightly. He rubs his back to sooth and calm him and when it works, he looks again to his the others eyes.

"You know we are always here for you right? You can always talk to me freely whenever you want to and I'll be glad to hear you. I can always let you call me by my real name if you want I don't care." Kai doesn't really know how to approach the younger and he knew he is blurting nonsense but he still tries.

"Your real name?" D.O wipes his tears and look toward Kai.

"Yeah, Kai is just a nickname, just like yours again. My real name is Jongin although I only allow my family to call me that but you can call me that... if... you... just want too." Kai sheepishly rub the back of his head.

"I....I would love too. And I guess you can also call me Kyungsoo since you allow me to call you Jongin." D.O smiles at him which makes Jongin to smile widely and nods like a mad man.

"I love you too." He blurted out.

D.O thought he heard Jongin said he loves him and looks at him. Jongin, who was struck by his sudden words become flustered and look sideways for a get away.

"I...i mean i would love that too....Kyungsoo hyung....." 

"Just call me Kyungsoo..." 

"Okay.... how about Kyungie or Soo or...." Kai is now red in embarassment.

"Gosh Jongin! Baek hyung was right when he told me you are annoying." That shuts up the other and he laughs.

"Just kidding." D.O stands up.

"Hey Soo.... do you think there are tree spirits here?" Kai suddenly asks.

"Let's see." D.O place his palm on the tree and felt the three glow then swayed its leaves making the couples be awed by the tree.

'Run.....run away......' 

A voice suddenly speaks and he heard it. He look towards Kai for clarification.

"Did you hear that?" D.O asks.

"Hear what?" Kai blinks.

'run away... hunters are coming... hurry'

D.O's eyes suddenly becomes red and so as his hair and before he knew it, the vines of the tree moves towards them and push them inside the mall breaking a glass. They heard screaming of few people running outside the mall then the power was cut off. When they look towards the sky garden, it was on fire and D.O was thankful for the tree spirit saving them but felt sad to see her burning. He then saw a familiar figure and he holds Kai and rush towards the fire exit then bumps into Bambam who have a clue on what is happening.

"We need to go back to the others fast." D.O suddenly said to them. 

"Why? Is there anything matters?" Kai asks then Bambam suddenly stiffen when a familiar scent was smelled in the air making him growl. 

"What's that?" Kai suddenly become aware of the danger. 

"Let's go to the others please!" D.O pulls up his phone but Kai stopped him. 

"What is really happening here?" Kai is now angry at the same time frustrated because he doesn't have a clue what is happening.

"There is a creature hunter here. I can smell him." Bambam answers and looks from sign of danger.

"But I am a hunter!" Kai said. "What is wrong with that?"

"He is reek of blood of other creatures clearly he is not human like you guys." Bambam informs him.

" And, I saw the witch just like the witch that we have encountered back at the market." D.O is now sweating without second thought, they are now on the third floor when the familiar witch was seen blocking their pathway. 

"Impossible. You..you're already dead! Xiumin hyung killed you already." Kai said and they move backward. They are now cornered from front and their side, the only thing that is possible to exit is to go backwards.

D.O is now calling his hyung when he heard a low growl then Bambam tackles him down making him to drop the call right after he just contact Baekhyun. A loud explosion was heard and it breaks one of the elevators and they saw Tao and Kris falling from the elevator. 

"Hyung!" Kai shouts but was surprised when he was pushed from the balcony by the witch and he was now falling towards the ground. He heard a call on his name and he close his eyes wishing he didn't stray away from Chanyeol and Baekhyun. 

When D.O and Bambam screamed to call Kai and look at the balcony that leaves no trace of the fallen man since the crowd below was frantically running here and there when they heard an explosion followed by debris falling from the broken elevator. 

Before the enemy could react, Bambam quickly pulls D.O on his waist and grabs a piece of cloth hanging from the side of the balcony and jump over the balcony bare making the other grasp to him tightly.

The man in a black suite throws another fireball at them making the cloth snap nearly half way from their goal of jumping to second floor. Bambam however manage to shield D.O from the bumping from the wall of the second floor balcony sideways and take the impact from it as well as the loud hit from the floor making him muffles a scream from agony and shifted to his puppy for. The enemies can't saw them through the sea of crowd when D.O take the pup and quickly went outside as far as his aching body with a dislocated shoulder and arm can. 

"Bambam.... why did you that?!" D.O was now hiding in a nearby alley because of tensed atmosphere. Although he sensed no killing intension from the said hunter, he cannot afford to be caught especially when he saw the dead witch that has been brought to life. He can sense some broken bones and Bambam is bleeding more when he change back to his human form and rest in the nearby tree. 

"Save.. your..self hyung... those hunters are the one who sabotage our group..." Bambam tries to warn his in his labored breath. D.O seeing the younger in pain decided to think what he can do to ease the pain.

"It's all right. I will try to avoid the battle, just rest here and keep yourself hidden very well." D.O took out pieces of beans and whisper some chant and place it beside Bambam. 

The pink haired boy felt vines suddenly envelops him in a warmth embrace and he felt himself being forcefully pushed together with the tree he is leaning on. When he tried to be freed, D.O hushed him gestures for him not to move an inch.

"Stay." He orders the vines will protect you from any intruders if they saw through the veil. It can also help you replenish and heal some of your wounds. I'll try not to get caught so sleep there." D.O backs away from the tree and run away from his injured friend who felt asleep after a series of vines and leaves covers his whole body.

"Where are you going little guy?" The man with a dark suite corners him when he was making his way to the festival ground. D.O suddenly turns away and saw another man, in white suite this time, is cornering him. He widens his eyes also when he saw the witch is floating in his side. 

"Impossible." D.O mutters as he clasp a hand to his injured shoulders. Apparently, he doesn't know that blood is already seeping through his jacket and when it drip on the cemented floor, a sprout of tiny plant emerged and the two capturer saw that and they both smile widely. 

"I told you I was right when I said 'he' was the fae because the witch told me so." The man in white suite with blue hair chuckles. 

"Well, I it's not that I don't trust you, but I guess you are right this time fishy." the man in black suite blondie said. 

The witch suddenly lunge forward to D.O and grips at his throat when the blue haired man wave his finger directly to the witch. It releases an agonized scream and disintegrates afterwards.

"You always get the wild and unpredictable spirit to summon Donghae." The blondie remarks and moves closer to D.O who felt alarmed at the distant closing to him when the said man, Donghae also moves closer to his direction.

"Really Eunhyuk? You never really new me after all." Donghae moves closer but D.O suddenly moves fast when they lunge at the same time.

 Good thing D.O shifted on his Fae skill but the disadvantage of it was getting his identity known by possible hunters. He then shove into the nearest stall which was a bad idea because it was the room of mirrors and it was the least of his favorite since he clearly like to get lost and get caught if one of them are vampires since they have no reflection. He now struggles to find the correct exit while he keep bumping on the mirrors and groans. He seems to be a lost child same as panic and fear starts to take over when he heard the voice of his capture and worst, saw their image which means there are coming closer and it hit him. 

"You know you cannot run away from us little Fae since you leave trails like a snail." Donghae's voice echoes on the background making him realize that it will not be soon before he will be caught. 

Out of instinct and panic, his eyes turns crimson red and panic starts to rush over his senses with great shaking f the ground that makes the glasses trembles from it. When D.O found the spot where there is no much trembling, he quickly make a run for it before getting caught by the man chasing him or even the shard glasses that was heard followed by the falling of the pillars supporting it. Once he was outside, it was more chaotic, people are running and screaming from the intense shaking of the ground which he have caused. Some rides are starting to shake and D.O makes a run away from it, since he can't stop his emotion and powers as well, to the nearby place where he can't hurt someone. But as he turns around, he saw Donghae standing and looking at him with a mischievous smile then take a step backward.

 He suddenly felt a hand touch his shoulders making him suddenly weak like the hand was absorbing his energy. He saw Eunhyuk smiled when he turns around before he got a blurry image of him with a black figure behind, then he was consumed by the darkness that bitterly greets him.

Sorry if I cannot put some other pairing here but i'm currently looking for something hehehe.. since I'm still working on Taoris, Hunhan, Xiuchen and Sulay thingy inside the carnival... be patient on me please.... I really need to work on with it once my hell week month start. Love you guys!! :3
