"Something is not right. " Luhan frown his forehead on a weird sensation that is brewing around his mind.  

 

"What? There is nothing wrong about the circus here." Sehun hung his hand on the older's shoulders trying to calm the vampire.

 

"We've got suspects!" Lay shouts and they move towards the source of noise. 

 

"What's up unicorn? What have you got?" Luhan asks.

 

"Look over there." Lay points out after signaling for them to tone their voice down while getting to a certain caravan near the town. 

 

"Is that...the guys we've bump while we are in the circus?" Suho just take a closer look over the five guys that is in decent dresses for the circus.

 

"So what are they?" Sehun immediately asks to them.

 

"We found them sneaking around the site where there are many ghouls and harpies are. Probably humans who are sneaking around." Luhan clarifies it.

 

"Ooh really? I thought they are the enemies. Sorry, my fault." Lay scratch his head and decided to free them from their binds.

 

"See? I told you we are the good guys but you are not listening man." The small mam with thick lips and wide eyes speak.

 

"So who are you guys anyways?" Suho asks the group.

 

"Well, we are just group of mercenaries. I'm JB, this is Jackson, the whiny one. The cold blond guy is Yongjae, together with this big baby maknae Yugyeom and lastly, this is pretty boy here is Mark. We are currently looking for our beloved members that is why we are here." JB, the man with unique spiky earrings explains to them. 

 

"Oh, so where is your other members?" Luhan asks.

 

"Well, our compass points towards to you, and the other one points towards that castle." He points out to the castle where Baekhyun went a while ago.

 

"Okay, let's check if what you said is true." Luhan motion for them to get ready and went to castle.

"I can't believe you are stupid enough allow some impostor inside this house. To think that you are the head of this house, you should be the one protecting the household, not the other way around." Baekhyun scolds his brother at the living room while the other guys are just staring at them.

 

"Wait, I'm not even supposed to talk yo you since I hate you." Baekhyun backs away but then return to his pacing back and front on his older brother. 

 

"But since you've create chaos here, you should be the one fixing up your mess and not us so why don't you hurry up and cleanse this city just like what you are supposed to do." He holds at his temples and points accusingly at him.

 

"Better yet clarify things and say sorry to D.O after what troubles you have put him through. And I wouldn't want to hear a no coming from you or ill swear to kill you again and again. Rip your head into pieces then feed it to the fishes or piranha." The male vampire is now finding it hard to breath 'coz of his sudden out burst. 

 

"Are you done now?" Baekbom raised an eyebrow at his younger brother while putting a finger inside his one of ears.

 

"No!! I still have more to say and...." Baekhyun wants to nag more when a hand grasps on his shoulders and he glare at the source.

 

"Calm down Baek." Chanyeol said in a drep voice.

 

"I AM CALM!!" Baekhyun shriek trying to pry away from the hand but the guys was persistent.

 

"Easy there, now breathe in and out, just like that." The taller man makes Baekhyun to calm down so he can listen after listening that he was attacked by group of guys and successfully captured him then manipulate the whole town afterwards.

 

Baekhyun is now ordering his brother to clear the town from impurities and threats since they will be staying near at the boarder end of the city. Since the Byun manor has a reputation of threat free environment for the past centuries, many creatures and humans decided to put their lives into their hands while they abide by their democratic rules. Since Baekhyun was away and lost its communication to the town and his brother, the town had developed and awkward environment and he wants to retain it the way it was before. He also wants to ensure their safety since they really need to be protected and build walls against their new enemies.

 

When Baekhyun was calm enough, Chanyeol gives him a pat and return to his seat with Kris and Tao. Baekbeom's eyes are fix with the giant and later on

 look towards his brother with amusement. Normally, only his father and Luhan can calm him down so he wondered what does the human have to calm his fuming brother down. 

 

"What are staring at?" Baekhyun hissed.

 

"Nothing! Normally I thought you wouldn't go back here since the twerp's incident." His brother scoffs and Baekhyun growls lightly.

 

"Never, I repeat, never call him insulting names or I will have to kill you for sure." Baekhyuns warns him by pointing his fingers at him. Feeling defeated, the older raised his hands and push his back towards the seat.

 

"Okay, okay. Thanks by the way. So, how long are you guys staying? That little guy is also welcome here if you care to ask." He said.

 

"Not that long since you don't know how to run your town. We all know that it is not safe here, not that we are defending on you ability or so. We will get out once we have orders to go." Baekhyun sarcastically told him.

 

"But I thought you said that enemies are hunting you down because of the tw.....Fae right? Why don't you stay here for a little while? Or better yet, stay inside this manor since its been a while right?" The man was careful on his choice of words since he doesn't want to get on his brother's side. 

 

Last time he did was a neck to neck battle that lead him to be alone for many years and he doesn't want his brother to be away from him. Not when he just knew that there are new enemies that is hunting them down because of the Fae.

 

"And get D.O caught? Not a chance since I knew you will just repeat what you did the last time he is here." Baekhyun put his poker face on with his brother since he knew how his mind is working. 

 

Not that he doesn't want to be with his brother but D.O is his priority right now.

 

"Man, Baekhyun really knows how to deal with his brother." Tao chuckles a little but decided not to meddle with them. 

 

"Yeah... I also don't want to get caught on their business." Kris adds with Chanyeol's approval.

 

"Oh really? Why don't you try me this time and I promise to keep you all safe, especially the small guy. I'll pay extra attention to him this time." Baekbom tries to persuade the other.

 

"You know what? Maybe after you have clear this town up to a treat-free zone, then i'll consider it." Baekhyun ends the speech and decides to move away from him.

 

"Wait!" Baekbom stands up from his seat.

"Okay, I know I might be the last person that you want me to trust and look after the fae. But, after I'll clear this town up, I promise to make it up to you, and to him. I promise to no more calling names on him, or even treat and consider him as family. Just, please, let me help you and correct this one." The older vampire pleads to his younger brother with high hopes.

 

Baekhyun doesn't even want to look at him, since he might regret his decision later on. After the look Chanyeol and the two gave him, he keep his whine and look at him again.

 

"Fine! Clean your and I might pursue the others to stay here for a while." Baekhyun spat at him with a doubt at first. 

 

"Really? Thanks. It means a lot to me." Baekbom give him a similar smile resembling Baekhyun's when Jr. decides to enter the door.

 

"Uhmmm... we have another visitors" Jr. said smiling.

 

"Hey Baek. Are you guys all settle here?" Luhan was the first one to enter followed by the others. 

 

"Yeah. We are just done discussing things here." Baekhyun assures them when Tao stands up suddenly with wide eyes.

 

"Hey, you are that damn acrobats from the school festival!" Chanyeol points towards the new group behind them.

 

"What is it panda?" Kris asks at him with concern.

 

"We need to get back to the tree house fast." Tao announces making them alarm and scurried outside the house with the new set of guys and Baekbom.

 

They are all outside the house and near half their way in the town,they heard a long and loud howl outside. The familiar sound was something that means the source was in distress.

 

"We are too late." Tao stiffen on his place before he graps Kris from the side.

 

"Kyungsoo!!!" Baekhyun's heart beats wildly thinking his nightmare about the boy just happen.

The guys are back on the tree house together with the group of JB with Baekbom. They saw Himchan, Bambam and with the ever frustrated Xiumin. With the absence of the scent of Kai, Chen and D.O, they now have a clue on what had happen to them.

 

"Hey look! It's Bambam!!" JB was the first one to comment and the other guy looked towards the direction of the familiar voice.

 

"Hyung!! I...I thought you are dead!" Bambam said out of instinct whem JB and the others hovers above him.

 

"Nah, I'm tough as a rock. Nice to see you again. Are you alright?" JB asks and Bambam gladly looks up to him and looks happy to see his family member.

 

"Where is Zelo and Jong?" Luhan inquires at them.

 

"They are guarding Yongguk his room. He was possessed by the enemy. Before passing out, he manage to the three in a hole. Bambam tried to help but it was too late, I guess." Jonggup explained to them. 

 

"I need some back up and an exorcist please." Jonggup's voice was heard followed by a large crack.

 

"You let Zelo in there together with the possessed Guk? Are you crazy Himchan?" Suho said and they quickly went to the room where the three are confined, except for Bambam's group.

 

Jonggup is struggling free out of Zelo's grasps while Yongguk struggles to be free from the tight rope the inventor made for him. 

 

"Power off.....shut down Zelo!!" Jonggup announces as he links his mind over the tall curly haired guy.

 

"Error..error.....command program error..... terminate...terminate." Zelo repeatedly said the words when Himchan decides to point his earthly wand to Zelo's chest. 

 

After few seconds, Zelo was pushed towards the wall with a loud thud. And Yongguk was secured by a large forcefield as Baekhyun and the others gestures them to be out of the room. 

 

"What will happen next?" Sehun asks Luhan. 

 

"Let Baekhyun and Baekbeom handle the situation since they are the ones that are good in exorcism. Let's all take a break first and see what will happen next." Luhan answers him while instructing the next thing to do.

 

"THAT'S IT?!? We will just WAIT here and do NOTHING?!" Xiumin sarcastically clears Luhan's orders earning attention from the others. 

 

"Have faith in Tao's foresight Xiu.. you know he is never wrong about his sight. We cannot do anything now since what done is done. Besides, it isn't the first time that Tao give his verdicts." Luhan already knows what the other is pointing out and can't help but to keep the elder calm and speak telepathically.

 

"Ahmmm.... I think I need some help with Zelo here. Any one please?" Jonggup diverts the attention which Chanyeol and Sehun gladly help to help him to put the man in a next tree house just a branch away from them.

 

'I know that you are fuming about Chen but you also do know that Kai and D.O are also missing so we need to relax and keep calm before acting first.' Luhan warns him.

 

'I AM not FUMING!! I'm just frustrated since Tao didn't even tell me what will happen.' Xiumin scold the younger.

 

'Hey! It's not my fault to see thing unclear, it was in fact known to all of you guys since I'm still learning about it!' Tao defends himself by looking at the other with mouth agape and irritated look.

 

'Thanks for reassurance guys. I really appreciate it since you are very specific in details.' Xiumin rolls his eyes in and looks away.

 

'Stop it guys! This talk is going nowhere. Let's rest." Suho tries to interferes the brewing fight.

 

'And what was that suppose to mean? That is why I've asks you to have someone to babysit them while we are away and you are suppose to babysit them.' Tao hissed with red eyes and send him a glare. 

 

'Yeah, so that you can have your way of fun while you go lovey dovey with the dragon?' Xiumin speaks in harsh tone.

 

'And why do you need to involve him over this? I thought you hated humans and now you are dating one.' Tao can't help but to protect Kris from assault that Xiumin might say about him.

 

The other guys busy looking at them felt something was up when the vampires are not talking with each other. The hunters are guessing that they are busy communicating with each other on their minds and by the looks in their face, it is not a simple talk. Their hunch were clarified when Tao lunges forward attacking Xiumin and the older summons his icicles then toss it forward to Tao's direction.

 

"Stop!!" Luhan put his palm up making Xiumin be tossed aside. The icicles melt into water in the mid air with Suho's power while grasping over Tao to prevent him from reaching Xiumin.

 

"Move aside Luhan, that boy needs to teach a lesson." The usually calm vampire was now fuming in anger.

 

"Whoaa...what was that?" Jr. asks the group when they witness something very cool.

 

"Calm down guys! I think you need some fresh air to clean your thoughts away." Lay decided to speak and lessen the tensed atmosphere around.

 

"My thoughts are clear enough and it's not my fault if you guys don't trust me enough to be in your group. I'm sick of being belittled in this group!" Tao huffs in annoyance as he moves away from Suho's grip then go to a certain corner followed by Kris.

 

"You little...." Luhan decided to grab Xiumin away from the other and towards the kitchen where he might find something to distract the older with his pleasure for food.

 

"Calm down will you? It isn't even you to throw your frustration to others." Luhan tried to reason out with him and give him water to drink.

 

"It's just..... I don't know. I guess I am frustrated since I left the tree house when I should have stay and guard them. It's my second time to put Kyungsoo in danger and now, it also caused two more person to suffer by my fault." Xuimin puts down the glass and ruffles his hair in frustration.

 

"Things like that really happens and all we need to do is to find away to help them or even trust their ability. Just like how they also trust us with their lives." Luhan told him. 

 

"Yeah...... I'm sorry. I'm just very frustrated that's all." Xuimin slumps his head down on the table groaning.

 

"Don't tell that to me, tell that to Taozi...you've hurt his feelings you know." Luhan reprimands him by placing the plate with rice and curry that D.O made before they are abducted.

 

"I guess I will afterwards." The other pouts and decided to fill his stomach with the food offered to him and eats silently when he noticed that Luhan is just looking at him. 

 

"What? Do you want me to apologize as in, right now?" The chubby cheeks spat and see that there is no response coming from the other, he grew aware of what is happening afterwards.

 

****Xiumin's P.O.V*****

 

My surroundings suddenly becomes silent and I can't hear any noise at all. It was like time had frozen between us and when Luhan's face remains unblinking and saw the hand of the clock at the wall just behind Luhan doesn't even move. 

 

Then it hit me. 

 

It must have been Tao who is doing this.  

When I turn around, I saw Tao standing in front of me with golden eyes.

 

"T.. Taozi.... don't scare me like that! Why are you....." 

 

I haven't finished what I want to say when he hold my head and pressed his palms on my eyes. I try to pry it off but Tao has a strong grip. Now I felt those palms are burning as I struggle free from him.

 

"What the....aaaahhhhh!!" I screamed at the younger vampire but he was deaf to my pleas and I decided to frost his hands when I suddenly saw something like there is something he wants to show me.

 

"W...where am I?" I blinked and looks around and saw Tao at my back.

 

"You are in my vision. Since you don't trust me well enough, allow me to enlighten you about what will happen or what I see on my vision. This is what you want right?" Tao said as some image are presented towards me and Tao one after another.

 

I saw Kai, D.O and Chen inside the cage with the magician that we saw in the amusement park.

 

Kai, D.O and Kyungsoo are now figthing some beasts and ghoul on a garden like place and clearly they are at advantage with Kyungsoo doing most of the job.

 

I saw Chen getting scratch on his leg by the tail of the manticore while he hits whips it, allowing Kai to stab it on its chest and kill it by the chest.

 

Then, they are now leaving a house like made out of plastic with big cake on the plate.

 

"Did they just shrunk?" I asks Tao but he paid no attention to him as the scene goes on.

 

He saw the trio now inside a round object with Kyungsoo seemed to be in some kind of distress while Kai assist him and Chen desperately flashes some electricity over his hands.

 

Another image starts to be vague when it come just a little fast than before.

 

The image of Bambam leaving their group, him getting confined in a room, vision of some fog surrounding their bosses and the hunter's family and many more which are too fast for him to take so he decided to look at Tao which controls the visions.

 

"Stop it Tao!!" I shouted at him but his face now looks that he is in pain. Much to my horror, when his eyes starts to bleed same as his nose, mouth and ears. My hunch was right when he pushed his body to the limit to show me this images and he falls down to the white ground.

 

"Tao-yah!!! Stop this!!! I'm sorry, you don't have to do this!! So please stop!" I shake his body but it gotten worst when he coughs more blood. 

 

I felt guilty and sorry for the young lad since he wasn't that good at his ability that make take toll on his body. I closed my eyes and felt a hand over my shoulders and saw Luhan pulling me aside as I went back to reality.

 

"Luhan! I...I was just..... he...help Tao please!" I plead at Luhan since he knew how to handle with him much more than anyone else. 

 

"Don't worry. I'll try what I can do. We need a healer fast. Call Lay and Suho." Luhan orders me as I nod.

 

I realized that Luhan is now having Tao at his hand while throwing a seizure while he pulls Tao back at the reality with eyes dead.

 

"What have I done?" I now sob a little when Lay and Suho tends the seizuring vampire and stop moving at all after Lay and Suho works with their healing. 

 

The Kris followed me as I heard him whisper to me in cold tone the words,

 

'Are you happy now? I wish you could trust the guy a little more since it break his heart also to get s in an unknown situation.' Kris never met my eyes but gaze towards Tao who is sleeping peacefully.

 

~~~~~3rd person's P.O.V~~~~

 

Morningn came unexpected, for the other, they just want morning to came, yet on the other hand, some are still hoping for a miracle to happen.

 

The guys at the tree house are really awkward to each other now. After the fight and facing their lost yesterday, they really knew something fall apart but, no one dared to try speaking out loud from the dead silence.

 

Tao has gone into a coma state after pushing his powers to the limit. Xuimin just stay away and lock himself from the others after saying many 'sorry's. Baekhyun is exhausted and needs to find clues about his brother whereabouts but Baekbeom ask his assistance in securing the town and nearby countries. Kris is really upset but not with Xiumin , because he also knew that the man was really suffering a lot right now but to himself who see it coming but was too late to make Tao be on this state right now. Himchan is busy with Yongguk after the incident yesteday. Jonggup is fixing Zelo with Sehun so Bambam went out to grab some supplies with his hyung.

 

"What the hell is just happening to my crew?" Luhan felt like he wants to have a mental breakdown right now since they were in a mess every now and then frequently when D.O's identity was revealed. He slump his head on the table facing Lay, Suho and Chanyeol who prepares breakfast for their group.

 

"Easy there. We've been through big messes like thus before so never fret. I knew we could make it through, just like before." Suho assures Luhan for that.

 

"Yeah. I know things got messy but somehow, you are given challenges that you can conquer. You'll just have to think outside the box just like my dad said." Chanyeol smiles and retrieve his food to from the table.

 

"Maybe you should rest for a bit since you haven't take a rest yet." Lay taps his shoulders.

 

"Mmm....I guess I do need that rest. Be sure to look at the others and get Kris and Xiumin to eat." He reminds them. "And before I forgot...." 

 

"Yeah yeah...let us be in charge here for a while please. Just go to sleep." Suho orders him while pushing the other to leave after he is done with his food. 

 

Before he went to his room, he stop by a certain room where Kris and Tao resides and gestures him to go grab something to eat. After giving him some assurance, he went out and step outside the door where Xiumin was.

 

'How long will you be in there Xiu?' Luhan mentally asks the chubby cheeks who doesn't want to open up the door for anyone. When the other doesn't answer, he gave up and sigh.

 

'Fine. Just be think things for now. But I know that Chen and the others wouldn't like it when you went sulking all day and pay no attention to your health so please, consider this talk.' Luhan decides to walk away.

 

'I will.' Xiumin replied in a faint tone making Luhan smiled a little. 'You should also think that there is someone also care for you. Don't take him forgotten like I tried to Chen.'

 

'Okay. Take care.' He now got in on a specific room where that certain someone waits for him in bed. 

 

"Lulu hyung!" Sehun yawns while rubbing his eyes in a sitting position. 

 

"Sleep some more if you want too, Sehunnie.." Luhan said and decided to lay beside Sehun. 

 

Sehun noticed how tired the vampire is so he allows him to lay beside him. Sehun adjust to their share bed and saw Luhan looking at him. 

 

"Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something wrong with my face?" Sehun lightly chuckles. Seeing him face to face just this close. 

 

"Nothing. I...I'm just here to sleep. Can you... uhmmm... just stay here for a while before I feel asleep?" Luhan asks with a flush face and looks down.

 

Sehun chuckles when he saw the older blush and hesitate for a moment. He then pulls the smaller, yet older than him closer and let him rest on his arm while the other is resting on his waist cuddling him. 

 

"Of course hyung! Let's just stay like this for a while." Sehun snuggles him more. Luhan, on the other hand, felt uncomfortable at first but felt secured and warm in the other so he just stay like that feeling the heart beat, warmth and scent of the other lulled him to sleep.

Oh my gawsh.... I dunno what to write anymore... hahaha .... although I assure you this wwill be the start of otp... I hope... heheh *help me, help me, help me*  (in tune of BAP's song :crush)

Don't worry  Yongguk... I know you did your best and all being the leader. I'm sure they all understand it...
