As he grew more accustomed to her, he began to notice something. As roommates and BFF's, he now knew more about her than anyone else in the world.

Every time she talked to him or looked at him, there was always an undertone of pity. He knew why it was there – he loved her, and she’d told him that she couldn’t fall in love, which implied a lifetime (he would never stop loving her) of unrequited love. 

It was a morbid thought, but he pushed it away with plans, plans to make her fall in love with him. Love can be learnt. Over the years, no matter how long it took, he would make her love him.

Patience was the key.

He never believed her. She could see it in his eyes. Every time she reminded him that she could not fall in love, he would simply smile and shake his head, and there would be renewed efforts of wooing her.

She liked the attention. What girl wouldn’t? But the guilt was still there, eating away at her heart. Junhyung loved her, with all his heart, and all she could do was be friends with him. There was no escape to this but death – Junhyung’s death.

Sometimes she thought about it, putting him out of his misery. This punishment of Doojoon’s was going to kill them both, emotionally. She couldn’t stand more guilt, and Junhyung was going to be completely heart broken, and there was nothing she could do to stop it.

The only thing she could do was make him as happy as possible, even if it killed her.
