“Hey, Hana-yah, I was thinking.”

“Wow, you think?” She grinned mischievously.

“Shut up. I was thinking that maybe…we could move in together.” At her shocked expression, he hurried to explain. “I don’t know what we are. More than friends, but not going out, kind of. I don’t know. But we live in the same building. How about we…upgrade our relationship to roommates?”

She burst out laughing. “Upgrade? You make it sound like a video game.” She mimicked a robotic voice. “You have reached: 500 points. Level up.” Hana snickered.

“I’m trying to make it as non-awkward as possible. Sheesh. I thought you’d appreciate it.” He pouted childishly.

She tried to school her expression into something more serious. “Junhyung-ssi, I don’t know. I don’t even know how to define our relationship, but all I know is that the…the basis of our relationship is friendship. Promise me we’ll stay friends?”

“One condition, Hana-yah.” Junhyung smiled triumphantly. “Call me oppa.”
