“See, this isn’t so bad, right?” Junhyung asked hopefully. He’d brought Hana out to a very fancy and very expensive restaurant in the city, treating her to the most delicious foods available.

“This is really nice, Junhyung-ssi,” Hana said happily. “Thanks for taking me out.”

“No problem, Hana-yah,” he said, feeling encouraged by her words.

“Listen, Junhyung,” she said, her mood suddenly serious. “No matter what happens, can we at least stay friends? I know you love me and everything, and I will never love you back, but I don’t want anything to go wrong. So, friends…forever?”

“So am I your new BFF?” he teased. Friendship leads to trust. And trust could lead to a relationship.
