Nope, Sungbin did not do that for me. Nope, he did not propose. Nope, Taec was never at my party too. All that was flowing back to me in my memory was me getting somewhat drunk and had some great tipsy with Sungbin when we got home. I did get my real present which was a nice Givenchy dress and I wore it for Sungbin to see. After which the dress was useless because Sungbin liked it so much he had to take it off me so he could make love to me. The birthday was great but I really could not remember if I even came. I was too tipsy drunk.

How the hell did I dream of Taec proposing to me? Or even Sungbin? What kind of dream was that? It was just so weird! I was not marriage ready too. Or was I? Oh no....

"Did you sleep well?" Sungbin mumbled sleepily as he hugged me and gave me a morning kiss in bed.

I turned to him. "I had a weird dream. You were lap dancing for me."

"Really? Was I a good dancer?" he chuckled.

"Oh, you did a Michael Jackson... and it kinda made my day." I revealed.

He laughed. "I could do a for you in bed now."

Just then my phone buzzed and I checked it. ! It was already 12noon! It was a text from my mother asking whether I was on the way to her place.

I kissed Sungbin and quickly got up. "Your offer's really tempting but I may have to change it to this evening. I am so late for my birthday celebration at home!"

I got dressed as Sungbin laid in bed watching me.

"You wanna join me at my parents?" I . He shook his head.

"Coward." I muttered jokingly and he threw a pillow at me. I caught the pillow and threw it back at him. "I'll be gone till late afternoon. You'll still be home?"

"Yeah.. I'm too lazy to go out today." he said as he hugged the pillow.

"Ok, don't forget my later." I said as I left his apartment.

As I drove over to my parents, I got a call. I put on my earpiece and picked up the call.

"Hey Yub. Did I catch you at a good time?"

It was Taec.

 No, Taec I just had a dream about you proposing to me. How weird was that?

Of course I did not say that to him.

"It's good. I'm actually on my way to my parents now.." I told him.

"Well, I would guess you'll be there by now. Your mom would have called you earlier to wake you up for that lunch without fail every year." Taec recalled. "Anyway, I'm calling to wish you a Happy Birthday and I'm wondering when you will be popping by JYP's?"

"Maybe late afternoon? Why?"

"So that I can pass you your birthday present!"

"You shouldn't have, Taec... It's fine, really."

"It's a habit, Yub. I can't just stop buying birthday presents for you just because we aren't dating anymore. Don't worry, it's nothing expensive. I won't be at JYP after 3pm as I need to rush off for work. So if I don't see you before that, I'll just pass the present to your manager."

Taec was still Taec. Busy guy who would still remember my birthday present every year. But I also did not forget his birthday present every year too...well except for a couple of years when I was in the US.
