Before midnight, Sungbin and I had another round of birthday and this time it was full of TLC. By 2am, we were still wide awake, possibly an aftermath of jet-lagged syndrome. We cuddled and snuggled in bed and made promises to each other.

"Promise me you won't disappear to another country and lie to me again." Sungbin laid out his first request.

"I promise." I agreed readily and kissed him. "Promise me you state your taken status whenever you are on your bachelor trips!" I added my request.

"I actually did so when I was in New York clubbing.." Sungbin disclosed. "I told a girl I was taken. She even asked if it was serious and I said Of course. If it wasn't serious, why would I even say it? I drank a lot that night but I was still sober enough to do that."

I kissed him and hugged him. Proud of him. And proud of myself telling some dude the same thing as well when I was in Fiji.

"Promise me you will trust me when I go to Japan next month." he added."Because my tour guide is a female friend of mine and I don't want you thinking other things, ok."

I nodded with a pout. "But you'll be back in time for my birthday party?"

"Definitely! Even if I have to shortened my trip but don't worry I have work so I'll be back in Seoul in time for my Yubbaby's birthday."

He kissed me as we sealed the last promise on our list.

"Don't you want to see what I got you for your birthday?" I got up from bed and went to dig out my present for the birthday boy.

Sungbin took the present from me and unwrapped it carefully. He took out the design book and smiled after a brief browse. "This is great. I love it. Thanks, baby!" He leaned over and thank you-kissed me.

We both heard a text alert from Sungbin's phone and he reached over the bedside to check it. He took a look at the text and laughed out loud. I asked him what was so funny.

"It's your Hyunah. She asked if it was too late to wish me a Happy Birthday." Sungbin reported as he texted Hyunah back. "I'm gonna tell her unless she's in the US, she's forgiven."
