[warning: lots of typos on this chapter! Sorry!]     CHAPTER 027: Aggressive Eunsul And Punishments        "Hey.. Maybe you should let go.." You begin to say, slowly trying to release your hand from Chanyeol's grip, without trying to seem rude or make him think that you hate him.    If someone sees you together, they might misinterpret the action of you two holding hands- no, will for sure misinterpret it.          "Chanyeol!" You groan, and the boy halts his steps and looks back at you with a (really cute- damnit Chanyeol) pout.         "What's wrong?"          "I don't think it's a good idea for you to hold my hand," you say, gently slipping your hand away from his bigger ones. Chanyeol frowns as he looks at your hands separating, but as you look up at him, he makes sure to smile.         "That's okay," he says, "Let's just go to class or we'll be late."    You nod, hesitantly but you do and you both start walking again.    It's awkward.    So when you get to class, you feel really happy to be away from that awkward silence.     Not Chanyeol, just the aura that shows up when you're with him.   You enter first and Chanyeol enters second, and you make sure not to look back.    The boy glances at you with a sigh and watches you go to your seat as quickly as possible. The bell rings seven seconds later.   Chanyeol sits down as the teacher, Mr. Nam, walks in.    Yuri is not in school today.    He sighs.       *****************************     Eunsul and Kris watch you enter with Chanyeol and then how you don't look back and head straight to your desk, not even glancing at them.    You look straight at the front of the classroom, eyeing Chanyeol. It's so annoying how boys have taken a lot of your thinking space lately.    Half of your brain is for knowledge and education, not for your hormones to take over on.          "Why are you ignoring us?" Eunsul pokes your side.    You don't look at her. "I'm not ignoring you. I'm ignoring the sitting next to you."   Kris snorts when he hears what you say.    Eunsul raises a brow, "What did he do?"        "Don't worry about it," you say.    Eunsul doesn't push the subject further since you look a bit irritated.    She looks back at Kris, "What did you say to her?"    Kris shrugs, "I don't remember."   You snort this time.       ************************       Somethings is off.    The boys are staring at you.    Especially, Tao.    He keeps glancing back at you. He even waves when you two make eye contact. Kyungsoo and Jongin also smile back at you.    Yup, something is definitely off.          "Hey.." You whisper at Eunusl.    The girl groans a little as she was trying to fall asleep (in the middle of a literature lesson) and turns her head towards you, "Yeah?" She yawns. Her head doesn't ever rise, she keeps it on the desk.          "Why are the basketball boys staring at me?" You ask.   Eunsul shrugs, "I don't know. They're weird. Ignore them."         "I can't.. They're like, smiling.."    Eunsul sits straight and she makes eye contact with the boys, and they all look away.         "There you go," She says, "Now they're no longer looking."   You chuckle. She sure is something.         ********************       It's lunch time and you're getting up from your seat to exit and go eat lunch with Eunsul. Kris is the one of the first to exit the classroom.          "Hana-ssi!" Tao yells at you.    You stare at him in horror because he's jumping tables to get to you. He almost trips while jumping the last desk, and you think that he's gonna fall on top of you, and so you gasp and get ready for the pain. But Eunsul grabs him by the shoulder and pulls him away from you, while also saving him from a bad fall.          "Careful, panda bear," she says, "You're gonna hurt yourself and someone else."     Tao blushes red, "Sorry!" Then he looks at you, "Can I eat lunch with you today?"    He looks like he's not going to take no for an answer.    You glance at Eunsul and she shrugs her shoulders in an 'I don't know' gesture.         "Tao! Let's go!" Jongin and Kyungsoo call to him from the door. Sehun is there, too. But he looks like he doesn't care.   Tao waves at them, "Go ahead! I'll meet you later!" Then he looks back at you.   The boys shrug and leave.    "Why do you want to have lunch with me?" You ask Tao, who resembles a determined puppy at the moment.    Your palms are literally sweating (and so are Tao's but he won't admit to so).    He leans closer, "To protect you..." He whispers.    You stare at him wide-eyed, and Eunsul snorts in laughter.    Tao whines, "I'm serious!"         "What are you talking about?" You say, glancing at Eunsul but she's still bursting in laughter.         "I heard about what happened," Tao says, "And I want to protect you from bullies."   In this moment, you think Tao is the cutest human being in the world.    Eunsul agrees too because she coos, "Aw~ that is the sweetest thing..." Then she grabs your arm, "But Hana doesn't need a bodyguard, love. She'll be fine."   Tao frowns, "You never know! Who will protect her if she's attacked unexpectedly!"        "Tao- that's your name, right?- You should go with your friends. Hana knows how to defend herself now. And if she does get in some trouble, I'm here."    Tao shakes his head, "No offense, but I'm a master in Wushu. I can totally defend her with my martial arts."   You raise a brow and Eunsul shrugs, "so?"    Tao sighs, "Well, I can defend her and I doubt you can help when you're just a girl. Girls are sort of weak when they need to defend themselves."    Eunsul scoffs. "What? Just a girl? Weak?"   You frown at this also, "Girls can be just as good Tao. Don't stereotype."    The boy shakes his head, "I doubt so. Most girls can't defend themselves in a fight, and they tend to be weak compared to boys."   Eunsul raises a brow, "Really?"    Tao nods, "Everyone knows that."   Eunsul smiles kindly, "Wanna fight?"    Tao shakes his head again, "I'm not gonna fight a little girl-"       "EUNSUL NO!" You scream.            ************************       Chanyeol, Jongdae, Yixing and Minseok enter the clinic.          "What happened to Tao?" Yixing asks and he runs towards the pouty male on the clinic bed. His lip is swollen, as well as his jaw and he can't talk well at the moment. He also has an ice-pack pressed against his face.         "Are you okay?" Minseok asks him, also walking to check over Tao.    Jongdae and Chanyeol frown at you and Eunsul, both of you sitting down and just watching Tao being cooed by his friends.    You look up at Chanyeol and Jongdae. It's kind of ironic how Jongdae used to date Yuri and so did Chanyeol- or is dating? You don't know if they broke up for real.    Anyway, it seems like Jongdae and Chanyeol are back to being friends even if Yuri had broken them apart earlier. You think it's nice that their friendship wasn't destroyed by a girl- especially since Jongdae was also part of the basketball team.          "Why are you two here?" Jongdae asks.        "What happened to Tao?" Chanyeol adds later on, asking you, even if he could have asked Tao himself, but he wants to just genuinely speak to you.          "Tao texted us that he was at the clinic, but I didn't expect you two to be here," Jongdae says.         "And you still haven't answered what happened to him," Chanyeol continues, looking at you and Eunsul.    You chuckle nervously, "Well, let's just say that Tao got punched in the face..."   Minseok and Yixing look away from a whining Tao. Minseok asks, "Who punched him?!" And he looks like a really angry brother.        "Everyone knows Tao takes martial arts. No one messes with him. Did a new student hit him?" Yixing asks no own in particular, and Tao responds in a painful groan.    Eunsul is just looking around in amusement and you also look quite entertained.         "Oh man, who dared hit Taozi?!" Chanyeol looks mad, "Who hit you Tao?!"   Jongdae frowns, "And why didn't you defend yourself?! Tao you've never gotten hit in your life, what happened this time? Was it a surprise attack?"       "I'm gonna search for them," Minseok says, "Who hit you, Taozi?"    Eunsul clears and raises her hand.    Chanyeol raises a questioning eyebrow, "You know who hit him?"    You sniffle a laugh. Tao let's out an embarrassed whine and lays back down on the clinic's bed, hiding his face on the pillow.         "Yeah, it was me," she smiles.   You sigh. Eunsul is such an interesting person.   The boys' faces fall down. They just look confuse.    Minseok's anger seems to diminish, "You hit Tao?"    Eunsul nods, "Yeah."   Jongdae burst into laughter, and Yixing is just shaking his head in disappointment. "Eunsul-ssi," he says, "Violence is never the answer."   Chanyeol gapes at Tao, "You let Eunsul hit you?"   Tao sits up, "I try to block her punch but she's faster than me!"        "She's a girl..." Minseok frowns, "And you've taken wushu since you were a kid."    Eunsul snorts and you roll your eyes at the stereotyping of "she's a girl".    Tao whines. "It doesn't matter! She's no girl, she punches like a professional male fighter! She popped my lip!"    The four boys stare at Eunsul. You feel like a proud mom for some reason.         "Why did you hit him?" Jongdae asks.    Eunsul sighs, "Because of what he said, that I'm just a girl. I didn't like that stereotype. So I tried to prove him wrong and so I punched him in the mouth."          "And my jaw!" Tao screeches from the bed, but no one pays him attention.        "You're always punching people in the mouth," you turn to her, remembering how she punched Minhee in the mouth too, that one time at the gasoline station.    Eunsul shrugs, "It's my favorite place to punch people on."         "What's your least favorite?" Minseok asks for no particular reason, just mild interest.        "The sides of their face.." She mumbles, thinking about the given answer.         "Why?" Jongdae and Chanyeol say at the same time.         "Because that can cause a concussion, making them faint and so it's no fun, because you want to see their reactions after you hit them. Like Tao's, for example, he began to cry."   You laugh.    Tao defends himself, "I didn't cry!"        "You so cried!" You say.        "No, I didn't! My eyes get watery all the time!" He retorts.   Jongdae looks very satisfied with the situation.    Yixing and Minseok seem cautious of Eunsul now that they know what happened. And Chanyeol seems wary about how you're close with a person like Eunsul. She doesn't seem safe.            *************************            "I didn't cry," Tao keeps saying.    You sigh, "It's okay Tao. There's nothing wrong with a man crying."   Tao pouts, "I know but now the guys are going to tease me."   You and the guys are walking towards the cafeteria. You don't know why you feel so comfortable with them around. It's a little odd, in all honesty. But you don't mind it. After Tao was dismissed from the Clinic, Chanyeol just naturally told you and Eunsul to come along, and you didn't think through it and just shrugged and followed. Seems like your comfortable with them for now.         "Hey, where did that girl go?" Minseok looks around.        "Eunsul?" Chanyeol asks and he also tries to locate said criminal.    Yixing frowns a little, "She said something about grabbing pizza and coming back... I don't know what she meant, though."   You snort, "Don't worry about it. She'll be back."        "She scares me!" Tao blurts out.            *************************     Kris is sitting with Soyeon. And her four friends.    He's really annoyed and distracted.    He wants to see you, or at least know where you are.    Soyeon's friends all seem to have too many questions and he finds out more than what he'd hope to know about Soyeon.   For example, that yesterday, she went on a date with Sehun. And let's just clarify that sehun is someone he knows.         "It wasn't a date!" She laughs, slapping his arm, even if Kris is just staring at her. "We just hung out like we always do."    All her friends snort and mumble to themselves at her response. Kris doesn't mind that she went out with Sehun yesterday. As friends or not, he just doesn't care.   He wonders if you'll no longer be mad when you two get home.        "He kissed you!" One of her friends blurts out and laughs. Soyeon jumps up with wide eyes and slaps the girl in the arm. The rest of her friends giggle as she laughs along and looks at Kris.         "Don't believe what they say. It's true we kissed but there were no intentions behind it. People just get caught in the moment, you know? Sehun is good at tricking girls," she smiles and holds his hand.    Kris has no idea what she's saying. Is she trying to explain that she kissed Sehun because she got caught in the moment because the boy is good at tricking girls into that "moment".    Soyeon sure is interesting. Good thing he never wanted anything serious. At least not anymore. He feels glad that he got to know her more before he developed some type of feelings for the girl.    But now that he thinks about it, even in dates, he was never really interested. What was he usually thinking about on his dates? Ah, right. He usually compared Soyeon to you.    He laughs in his head. You and her are so different. He likes that.        "So you and sehun are friends?" He asks. Soyeon nods. "That so happen to kiss yesterday on one of your hanging out dates?"    Soyeon giggles, "They're not dates! We just hang out often. And the kiss was an accident! We just got caught in the moment!" She continues to giggle.         "Okay!" Kris says, standing up. "I'm gonna go buy something to drink."   Soyeon pouts, "Will you come back?"    Kris fakes a smile, "Probably not!" And then he leaves, shuddering at the situation he got into.    He buys himself some apple juice from the vending machine standing in the corner of the giant room, and then as he sips on it through a straw, glances around the cafeteria in search of familiar faces. Your face, in particular.    He sees Sehun, instead. And he can't help but wonder if what Soyeon and her friends say is true.    He walks his way over to him and sits down on his table. Kyungsoo, baekhyun, Jongin and suho are there too.         "Hey, Kris," they all greet, and Kris smiles back, waving his large hands before turning to Sehun.         "Sehun," he begins, and the boy looks at him in question. "Do you know Soyeon?"   The rest of the boys continue talking, not paying attention.    Sehun nods, "The one in our grade? Senior? Yeah, know her since last year."    Kris nods, "Are you going out with her?"       "Nah," the boy says, eating some chips, "We just hook up once in a while. Me and her have a habit of going on dates when we're bored."    Kris keeps nodding. Aw, so Soyeon and Sehun have that kind of relationship...        "You guys meet up lot?" He asks this time.    Sehun shrugs, "Well, not really. But we met up yesterday."   Wow. Well he's admitting to this easier than expected, Kris thinks to himself.         "How far have you gone with her?" Kris asks, leaning closer.    Sehun raises his brows, "Why do you want to know? You like her?"   Kris leans back, "Thought I did but it turns out that she's not looking for a serious relationship- at least that's what I can conclude from her going out with you while she was going out on dates with me."   Sehun smiles, "Aw~ it's okay! Since you're new you probably don't know, but Soyeon tends to just play around with boys that are up for it. She doesn't really like relationships."    Kris sighs, "That's cool, I guess. Glad I found out before it was too late, though."   Sehun shrugs, "Happens to most. She's really pretty. But nothing you're missing out on; she has a very spoiled personality."         "Really?"         "Yup. She seems kind at first, but then she'll stab you right on the heart!" Sehun makes an exaggerated sound with his hands, "She's no angel."         "Then why do you keep seeing her?" Kris raises a brow.    Sehun shrugs, "I don't like serious relationships either, so we match pretty well on that aspect. She's fun to do things with-" Sehun smirks, "If you know what I mean."    Kris shudders, "Gross. Don't tell me that."    Sehun laughs.         "Anyway, Have you seen Hana?"     Just as he says that, the cafeteria suddenly goes silent before going loud again. Kris knows why and he's not surprise to see you walk in, but he is actually surprised because of who you walk in with.    Why are you hanging with Chanyeol?!   Where's Eunsul?!           "Hey, look!" Jongin smiles, "The ice princess is with Chanyeol and the guys!" He turns to the table, "I thought she and Chanyeol stopped talking for good.."   Suho shakes his head, "No, I think it was because Yuri didn't allow Chanyeol to speak to Hana."    Kyungsoo turns back to eating, "It looks like she's good now. I heard that after the fight she was hurt badly. Glad she's okay."    Kris is glaring holes into Chanyeol's head. He hates Chanyeol. And how he's so close to you.    Aren't you anti social? Why are you with them? And once again, where is Eunsul?    He watches you all come towards the table. You're talking to Tao, explaining to him something about how if he puts on ointment, the cut will heal faster.         "What happened to Tao?" Suho asks.    Tao whines and you and Jongdae laugh.         "Eunsul punched him in the face," you say with a smile.    The guys stare at you in awe and Kyungsoo accidentally drops his juice box.    You frown at their reactions and look around. That's when you meet Kris's eyes and look away.    That jerk is here, you think.         "I'm gonna go look for Eunsul," you mumble, "She's taking wayyyyy too long!" You let out a fake laugh and are about to turn around but Chanyeol, who's already sitting down, grabs your arm and pulls you back, not wanting you to go.    What he doesn't know is that you would trip on your own feet and twist your body so fast that you would end up on his lap.    The guys coo because it's their automatic reaction as idiots. While Kris growls at you to get off. "Hey! What do you think you're doing? Off! Off!" He says like an over protective dad.    You're about to get up as fast as possible, but when Kris says that, you glare, "don't tell me what to do!"         "This is the land of holy education!" Kris says, "Stop sinning!"    You keep glaring, "If I want to stay seated here, I will!" You make yourself comfortable, Then you turn to look at the boy under you. And then you meet Chanyeol's wide eyes and red cheeks and so you get up as fast as lightening. "Except I won't, in this case, because it's Chanyeol." You clear your throat, "I'm sorry I sat on you."   Kris is speechless. He gapes at you. Why are you hurting me like this? He thinks to himself.          "It's okay," Chanyeol chuckles, "Just sit, Hana."    The boys make some space for you to sit, since they're not sitting in the round tables but in the rectangular ones with benches instead.    You clear your throat again, making sure to avoid the looks Kris is sending you.          "No, thank you. I'm gonna go look for Eunsul. She's taking too long."    Yixing raises his hand, "I'll go look for her, if you want."    You shake your head, "Pft! It's okay! I'll do it!"         "No, it's okay. I'll do it," the boy gets up and you internally groan.         "Where is she at again?" Yixing smiles, waiting for you to answer.    He's too nice, you think.         "Probably at the rooftop, eating pizza," you say.    Yixing eyes you in confusion, as well as the rest of the other boys. "Okay...?" He mumbles and starts walking away.         "Hana," Kris calls you.    You ignore him, "Sorry that you got hit by Eunsul, Tao."    Kris gasps,
