CHAPTER 011: Rain And Glares
"Faster!"
"Oh my god," he groans.
"ing hell, Kris!"
"Hana, will you just-"
"You're taking too long!"
"But you're rushing me! Now I'm gonna go slower!"
"You make me want to- ugh!"
"Fine, if you're so good at this, then why don't you do it?!"
You rolled your eyes and stomped to the front, pushing him out of the way as you snatched the keys from his big useless hands.
"At least we know you can't open a door," you rumble as you fidget with the lock.
You can practically feel Kris's burning glare on your back.
"Stop glaring!" You yell trying to figure out why the damn keys won't open the front door. It's been 15 minutes!
"I'm not gonna stop glaring. It's gonna rain soon and if you don't open this stupid door-"
"Listen, don't rush me!" You yelled.
Kris scoffed, seeing as you did the same thing to him, "You were rushing me earlier, I don't see the problem of it now.."
"I do!" You turned to send him an icy glare.
"," you mumbled after a while, still trying to open the door, "I think it is going to Rain..I could literally feel the raindrops on my skin."
The sky was black, since it was almost one in the morning but you could feel the drizzling of the water against your skin. Honestly, the last thing you wanted was to grab a cold from a pouring in the middle of the night.
Your parents and Nana had left to drop off Lucy and Donhyuk at the airport for their honeymoon to the Bahamas. While you and Kris agreed to grab a taxi back home since the adults were taking the car. You two didn't argue this time because you both craved sleep and quiet very much at the moment, more since the wedding party had been chaos with all the noise and alcohol.
All you wanted to do was change to comfortable sleeping clothing, remove the makeup and hair due, and go to bed.
Kris also had the same thoughts.
Yet here you were.
It had been 20 minutes since you two had gotten out of the taxi and Kris had to open the door, but NO. The door wouldn't open!
It made you want to pull your hair out, and so you two ended up where you are now.
"Something is wrong," You mumbled as you looked at the key. It wouldn't open the door at all and you had become awfully suspicious.
"What do you mean?" Kris asked behind you.
You grabbed your phone (that was hidden subtly on your cleavage) and pointed the light to the keys. You frowned and seconds later a groan erupted from you.
"YOU MORON!" You growled, turning to Kris with a scowl, "This isn't the keys for the front door! I don't even know who these keys belong to!"
Kris frowned and then growled back at you, "First of all, You're the moron because you were the one who grabbed the keys and two, you're the moron who grabbed the wrong keys! Oh, did I already say that? GOOD!"
You flushed red.
Stupid, tall had a point...
"Excuse me?!"
You frowned, "Oh, did I say that out loud?"
"Yes. You did."
You smiled innocently, "Oops, Anyway-"
"Fix this," Kris told you, interrupting your words.
You nodded with a sigh, and just as if on cue, It began to rain.
"What the fu- Hana!"
"I can fix this!"
********************
"We're gonna be in so much trouble.." Kris mumbled.
"Don't worry about it and just push when I tell you to, okay?"
Kris glared at you. You both weren't so wet and you were thankful but in about a minute or so, you would both be soaked from the rain.
"Fine," He sighed and picked you up.
You fell uneasy as he grabbed you by the hips and lifted you up with his arms.
He didn't look like he was struggling and it honestly made you glad that he didn't complain about your weight, considering that you weren't as bone skinny as most Korean high school girls.
You reached for the window frame and smiled in triumph at the fact that you touched it.
You had come up with a plan to get inside, a dangerous and ridiculous plan, but a plan nevertheless.
You planned to get inside using the window on the side of the house, the one to your parents room. Sadly, it was too high and so you made Kris carry you so you could reach it.
"I got it!" You said as you began to opened the window and held on with both your arms against it.
"Good! Now hurry up before my arms break! The rain is hitting me in the face very ing hard, too!" Kris yelled and you rolled your eyes.
As you tried to open the window- which was opening slowly- you let out a gasp of surprise.
Kris couldn't handle your weight only on his arms and so he pushed your lower body against his chest
