“I’m here.” Her voice was gentle like the wind. Their eyes met & sparks flew. He began cautiously.
“Is it really you?” He stepped up to her. His eyes skimmed her from head to toe & then back again. They sparkled as he praised softly, “You are beautiful.” His comment sent her blush spreading like wildfire. From his pocket, he took out a handkerchief, “Will you allow me to cover your pretty eyes, my lady?” The cloth felt smooth & crisp against her white skin, “May I do the honor?” She tilted her head as he gently placed her hand on his elbow. He guided her through what she made out to be a hallway because she heard the echoes of their steps. As they stopped, he untied the knot, directing her to keep her eyes closed. “Mr. Kim, thank you for such a wonderful evening. I congratulate you & wish you luck in the future.” Then she broke into a run.
“Tiffany. Come back. What did I say?” She could hear his steps coming closer & closer to her. She kept running through the long & dark hallway. As she fled out through the front gates, she saw a cab. She waved her hands, quickly calling the cab. He was getting closer.
“Tiffany.” Getting into the cab, she locked the doors. He finally caught up, trying to
