Chapter 15

The ride home seemed very long. Not to mention, he was so close to her. His nearness affected her too much. Her heart beat faster than usual. She wasn’t breathing in regular intervals anymore. If she stayed in that car any longer, she would most surely die. She didn’t even know that the car had stopped until she heard the door open. She turned towards the driver side to find out that he wasn’t there.

“We are here.” The voice came from behind.

Muttering a ‘thanks’, she quickly walked towards the front door. Too much time alone with the man was deadly. She kept fumbling with her keys until finally she found the right one. After trying so hard to insert the key, she dropped it. Before she could reach down to retrieve it, Jaejoong turned her around.

“Tiffany.” He whispered. She looked into his eyes, regretting her actions immediately. She tried to look away but she couldn’t. There seemed to be some force holding her eyes still. His hands came up to caress her cheeks, “You didn’t come that day. I waited, hoping to see your eyes. Hoping to see you once before I had to leave but I had raised my hopes up too high. I have missed you, Tiffany. More than I can ever imagine.” His hands stops as he continue, “Meet me at my house tonight. I want to show you something.”

“I won’t come.” She pushed him away & rang the doorbell, “Thank you again, for the ride, but I really think that you should leave now. Seohyun will be out here in one minute. Please, just leave me alone?”

“Fine, I will leave but I will be waiting by the gate for you. I will wait there until you come.” Before she could refuses again, he had already drove off.

“Tiffany, did you forget your keys again? Wait, why are you home so early? It’s only three.” She shut the front door & answered her question.

“Uncle Kim let me off. I guess I looked too tired.” Well, that wasn’t a complete lie. She did look tired.
