"Kyungsoo's mine. Don't ever touch him again." 

Kyungsoo's mouth kept opening and closing, finding that no words would come out of it. Sehun was dangerously daring to snicker under his breath, seemingly unaffected by Kai's death scowl Kyungsoo was missing behind his back. Kyungsoo shook himself out of it.

"Kai" Kyungsoo attempted to stand up but ended up falling back where he started. On Kai's lap.

"Kai" he slowly started off plucking Kai's fingers, only to find they returned back to their original place, once Kyungsoo released them. 

"He's a friend of mine" Kyungsoo, regretfully, resorted to using the word friend to reassure Kai, even though it was far from the truth. Sehun, on the other side of the coffee table was now, as if he hadn't been before, laughing even more so since Kyungsoo's mention of friend. 

"Yeah, i'm very close to hyung ~" Kyungsoo's scowl nearly matched the intensity of Kai's own when he heard the implications Sehun's tone carried. A low rumble started to collect at the back of Kai's throat like the start of a thunderstorm as his growl started to instinctly pick up again. If looks could kill, Sehun would have been sliced to pieces before he could say the words 'Taste the Rainbo-

"Your boyfriend is a little possessive, isn't he Hyung?"

Kyungsoo was internally crying at the amount of explaining he had to do. When did his life get so complicated? He had a very strong feeling it was to do with the person behind him.

"He's not my boyfriend, Sehun."

"Then why are you sitting so smugly in his lap? Hmm hyung ~" 

Sehun had a point. And Kyungsoo wasn't prepared to admit it. But he definitely could not let this demon find out the truth. Why would this brat believe the truth anyway? It's too unbelievable for someone who doesn't know Kyungsoo well enough to know he's being serious.

So he did the only thing he could. Lie.

He sighed as deeply as he could to wipe out any feelings of soon-to-be guilt, which was unavoidable whenever Kyungsoo lied. Kyungsoo put on his most bashful smile and leaned back against Kai, effectively shocking him out of growling. Beside, even Kai knew this was out of character for him. The hollow-headed colour palette didn't appear to take any notice though. Idiot.

"Okay, okay. I admit it, we're together" Kyungsoo quickly grabbed Kai's paralyzed hand and intertwined their fingers; his anger dissolved having been replaced with surprised
