It wasn't that Kyungsoo wasn't trying; he truly was, but he couldn't find it in himself to hold any form of eye contact with the other. Every time he looked up, Jongin would be smiling back with that ridiculous grin of his, and Kyungsoo would feel his lungs starting to cave. His head would automatically snap back down, without another thought.

Kyungsoo stood abruptly and started to clear the two plates; Jongin's eyes burning eagerly into his back. 

"Jongin, why don't you go use the bathroom first.. I'll be right there"

Jongin nodded, and slipped off to the bathroom in preparations for bed, leaving the other some time to think.

      Kyungsoo, after he had finished the washing up, went to seat himself on the sofa, waiting for Jongin to return. He the television, focus zoning out.  Should I just tell him to go straight to bed? I can't even look him in the eye.. and he might misunderstand if I tell him to go to bed. What if pretend to sleep? Then we don't need to talk. At least not today-

"Hyung, I'm done!"

       Kyungsoo startled, panicking upon his interrupted thought. He went to the first thought of playing possum, wincing and letting out a squeak when his head slammed into the armrest. The blanket under him digging into this stomach.

"Hyung? I'm finished?"

Jongin entered the room just as Kyungsoo was able to stop his nervous twitching.

"Hyung-"

       Jongin's voice trailed out as he came across the 'sleeping' Kyungsoo, and stopped himself in his tracks. Kyungsoo could feel his muscles wanting to move, even more so under the others hovering presence. He had hoped the other would leave after he had spotted him sleeping, but the other seemed to be lingering, hesitating. 

       Kyungsoo opened his eyes a fraction so he could briefly see the shadowy outline of the other, eyelashes obscuring the edge of this vision. Jongin was getting closer to him, not leaving. Kyungsoo shut his eyes again, trying to relax his face.

       Suddenly, he felt the others arms being slid under his neck and knees, and soon he was being raised up against the others chest.
