A few days had passed since Chanyeol had set up a dogsitting nursery in Kyungsoo's apartment. Even though they were just as about mature as each other.

Kai was now comfortable enough for Chanyeol to just be in the apartment without having to be petted, preventing a freak out.

Kyungsoo had thought this would leave him a relatively stress-free day now Kai was distracted.

He was mistaken.

Although Kai was not there to personally annoy Kyungsoo, he sure did a great job of it over text; home phone calls prohibited during work hours.

The texts also seemed to be getting weirder by the day as Kai's boredom with Chanyeol, who liked to text just as much, and his up-growing confidence and comfort around Kyungsoo, was increasing.

Wednesdays texts were more spaced out, probably due to the fact he found a new friend to bug. It soon wore off for both of them though.

He wasn't even at his desk before he received the first text.

Yes I know. But I have to work. I'll be back later. Whilst your here could you do me a quick favour?

Could you place the cook book out on the counter in the kitchen for Chanyeol?

Whoa there a second...

What? What happened?

I'm on the sofa.

The Caps lock button seemed to play a progressively bigger role in Kai's texts each time; almost as if he felt his words weren't expressive enough alone.

His texts seemed to get more pointless that afternoon. Kyungsoo put it down to boredom.

Yes, it's a common known fact. Why, are you jealous?

NO. They live nine BORING lives! I live an AWESOME one with Hyung!

....Good to know. I'm getting back to work now.

Kyungsoo didn't respond.

The next day, the texts were definitely more fluent. The apartment and Chanyeol apparen
