School is an institution designed for the teaching of students under the direction of teachers. A system that help us prepare and skill the next generation, so they will be able to function in society. In these systems, students progress through a series of schools and hopefully turn into something useful...
The life of school is a place that tries to answer the great questions of life with the help of culture. It’s hard to say who, through the years, will grown more: the teachers or the students.
Teachers are responsible for more than just academic enrichment. If you want to be a great educator, you must connect with your pupils and reach them on multiple levels, because the best teachers are committed to their students’ well-being both inside and outside the classroom. By forging strong relationships, educators are able to affect virtually every aspect of their students’ lives, teaching them the important life lessons that will help them succeed beyond term papers and standardized tests. It is not an exaggeration to say that a great teacher can change a student’s life. There are an endless amount of stories that attest to the benefits of a strong relationship between an educator and student. In the end, that’s what it’s all about: changing the world for good, one person at a time. Even if it means to beat it into them.
As I continue teaching, I find myself receiving much more than I am giving. In the beginning, when the focus was on my benefits, I felt I would have to wait forever to see any positive results from my efforts. But, as I age, the rewards feel much more immediate. I have learned to appreciate what I give, rather than what I receive
While you will spend your entire career learning the different ways you can change your students’ lives, and thinking that you are a good person.... But it is not always easy to change a student’s life, which is why it takes a great teacher to do so. Some just need an extra push like the student whose math grade is just a few points shy from the A others may be going through something troubling in their personal lives and need someone to talk to. Like what happen to me the other day....
I Do Kyungsoo (Kim Kyungsoo now!), made that mistake and it result in.... my student falling for me. His teacher... 9 years older than him and a married woman on top of that!
Today is the day Minseok promised to help Kyungsoo (with whatever was bothering her). She left early leaving Luhan and Sehun alone. Luhan and Jongin will once again take care of Sehun for her. She parked her car and followed Kyungsoo's map description. All students were in class right now, the hallways were empty therefore no one to ask.... in the end Minseok was lost, she couldn't find Kyungsoo's classroom. If only there were signs on the doors or any windows to look through. (like that I will be late, I'm pretty sure Soo's classroom is somewhere around here) and speaking of the devil...
"Everyone, I have good news. The grades for the midterm tests are out." Minseok was not sure if that was Kyungsoo or not... (could it be Soo?)
"(booo)" The students sure didn't want to know the result, it never was a good news to know the outcome of a test, that you had to pray to lady luck or sale your soul to the devil just to pass it!
"Be quiet, you bird-brains! Starting tomorrow, don't come to school, go to the zoo instead! The time and effort that I..." yep it's her friend. Minseok knocked on the door and didn't even wait to hear a come in, as soon she step in... the whole class became more crazy than the zoo.
"ok class starting today Minseok-shi will be with us for two weeks..." Soo introduced Minseok to the class and tried to continue with their drama class. Baek was already there, trying to keep herself awake.
"Ohhh a beauty!!! Do you have a boyfriend" the boys were more than happy to have Minseok as a guest
"Shut up boys.... she is happily married" said Kyungsoo while trying to keep an order in the class.
"Wait that is Minseok- sensei... ahhhhh was Luhan oppa popular then you met him.... was he just as cool as he is now..." of course that's what the girls are interested at, Luhan the shining prince.
"Shut up girls.... he is happily married now!" (if only they are just as interested in studying like they are in romance!) "so let's move on and since we have Minseok-shi with us today, we will see if our conclusion of Romeo and Juliet is the same as a writers" The students were divided into three groups (boys vs girls vs mix), each group share their version of the romantic story:
"We think that growing old together and facing the hardships together, is true love. Not giving up right away and committing suicide together just because your parents said no" group nr 1 the girls.
"Nooooo... true love is that one where everyone and everything is against you, loving each other so much that life doesn't give any more meaning and you are only left with one choice...*taking a dramatic pause* Lif
