Surviving Alone
Foreword
Description
What if you sold yourself to save someone's life? What if you could never see that person ever again?
50 years into the future and the world's gone upside-down. All of the ice in the Arctic has melted, polar bears are extinct, plants are quickly dying out, and humans are hysterical with fear. Big men that are thought as "important" to the world have decided on a solution... to kill "unwanted" people. That means people who live on the streets, have no money, or couldn't afford the surgery to cure cancer (this is when we find the cure).
What would you do if your brother had cancer, and you worked 4 different part-time jobs to pay his bills?
All of the love and mushy, fluffy stuff is coming later :D (btw the main character is KYUHYUN!!! WOOOO!!!)
WARNING : This is a fanfic so if you don't feel comfortable with Boyxboy I suggest you don't read.

Foreword
(Excerpt) I unlocked the door of my apartment and threw the keys onto the counter. I dropped my bag onto the couch and sighed while searching through the mail. Hospital bills, more bills and then I stopped. My heart dropped when I saw the uniformly yellow envelope.
The one everyone's been getting. It was taboo, no one talked about it. *Please* I prayed, *not me, please*. I opened it and my heart dropped even further, KiBum's name was on it. Not mine, but my brother's.
I screamed with frustration. It wasn't fair! The last person who deserved the letter was Kibum. My eyes welled with tears as I remember my happy past, before, when we didn't know Kibum had cancer. Sunny Saturdays spent out soaking the sun, always laughing and together.
I was still thankful, that we didn't find out too late or it could've been much more worse. Thankful that I had 4 jobs, saving money for his surgery.
I looked at the phone beside me and stared at the number written beside it. *I have no choice, I have too* and with that I reached over and dialed the number.
"Hello?" said the familiar voice.
"I'll join." I said simply. I felt him smile from across the line.
"I'll mail the money tomorrow," he said, "Welcome to our gang."
