Please Don't Cry

Ch. 4 Sweet Lies

               Myungsoo had thought of a new tactic to hasten his mission, and he was excited to try this new approach with Sungyeol. At lunch time instead of going to his usual lunch table to meet up with his friends he decided to change direction.

               Sungyeol sat at his usual table eating lunch with his friends Dongwoo, Hoya, and Sungjong. The four were busy talking about their projects and school work when the kingka slowly approach Sungyeol from behind and pulled him into a tight hug. All eyes in the cafeteria were on them the moment Myungsoo pulled Sungyeol into a hug and placed his lips on Sungyeol's. A few screams of terror came from some of the girls, and some were having a fit that their kingka was publicly showing his affections to the new transfer student. The atmosphere overall from Myungsoo's fangirls were not good.

               From the kingka's table Jonghyun, Kris, Luhan, Sehun, and Minseok were laughing amongst each other at Myungsoo's action while L remained silent puzzled by his brother's actions.

               "Hehe...that rascal is getting desperate." Jonghyun mumbled to Kris.

               "What a waste I want to taste those lips too!" Kris whispered back.

               "I'm sure you'll have your share once our Prince Charming's done with him." Minseok said to his tall friend.

               L didn't like what they were saying one bit. Slamming his tray the older twin stalked off violently surprising Jonghyun and the rest.

               "Geeze what's up with him?" Luhan questioned.

               "Who knows...let him be." Kris said.

               "This is just getting too interesting" Jonghyun feeling amused.

               Sungjong, Dongwoo, and Hoya were staring at Myungsoo with dislike. Sure he was Sungyeol's boyfriend, but as far as they can tell his reputation in the school wasn't exactly good when it comes to relationships in their opinion, although others may disagree with them. It was surprising that Myungsoo choose to show their relationship publically since he was the one who suggested that they should hide it from the beginning.

               "Myung-ah..."Sungyeol wanted to ask his boyfriend why he openly did that.

               "I just can't take it anymore Yeolie, I can't stand you being so far away." Myungsoo said hugging Sungyeol tighter causing the fangirls to angrily glare at Sungyeol.

               "B..but didn't you say...you wanted our relationship to just be between us?" Sungyeol asks innocently.

               "I change my mind! Because I figured it would be unfair to you, and I want to show the world the one I love." Myungsoo smiled charmingly showing his dimples.

               "Myung-ah....but...I don't want...people to start hating on you because you're with me..." Sungyeol said with concern.

               "Don't worry about that my baby, no one dares openly go against me. Plus you're just too cute, people will soon love you." Myungsoo said with confidence.

               The sight of the kingka spewing sweet words somehow made Sungyeol's friends feel so uncomfortable.

               "Sungyeol-ah I got to go, I got some club meetings to go to. Have fun with your boyfriend!" Dongwoo waved politely and taking his leave. " Was nice meeting you Kim Myungsoo."

               "Me too, I have basketball practice." Hoya said.

               "I'm just gonna leave you love birds alone now, you're just making me feel awkward." Sungjong interjected in a straight forward manner.

               "Aww...ok..guys. I'll see you later." Sungyeol said a little disappointed that his friends were leaving. Myungsoo took the opportunity and place his hands on Sungyeol's cheeks and pulled him into another kiss.

               "Don't be sad baby, I'll be here with you." Myungsoo said kissing Sungyeol again.

                              Several days later Sungyeol was beginning to understand what his friends meant when they said it wasn't easy being a kingka's lover. People in class started ignoring him. The boys didn't dare talk to him in fear, and the girls gave him the cold treatment. What he dreaded the most was P.E. class. because it was sports season, and they were suppose to have partners. At this rate, Sungyeol was sure no one wanted to be his partner.

               "Ok! For today's class we're going to divide in twos, so I'll allow you kids some freedom and let you choose your own partners." Mr. Choi said to the class.

               Sungyeol sigh knowing full well that none of the girls or boys will be willing to partner with him, until he felt a tap on his shoulders. Turning around he was met face to face with L. His face quickly turned tomato red to find that his face was only inch away from L's.

               "L..." Sungyeol greeted.

               "Want to be my partner?" L asked coolly.

               "Y..You want to be partner with me?" Sungyeol said sounding grateful.

               "Why wouldn't I?" L said nonchalantly.

               From afar a ball was aimed towards Sungyeol's face, but luckily L had blocked it with his arm on time. Sungyeol looked at L's arm in panic because it had turn bright red from the flying ball's impact. Immediately L turned around looking for the culprit. HIs expression changed from normal to anger. He was glaring at some of the plastic girls who were giggling amongst themselves. Like a mad dog, L  took a violent swing and threw the ball back hitting one of them directly on the head causing a domino effect and knocking them over. The others stared at him in horror.

               "L-shii..." Sungyeol called out in concern staring at the girls that recently got hit by L's throw. His mouth hung open in shock for a few seconds starring at L.

               "It's ok, it's just a game" L said calmly with a smirk, " Accidents happen."

               Luckily Sungyeol didn't receive much harassment in the locker room because it was separated from the girl's side, and the boys only choose to ignore him rather than act out their bullying. L stayed by his side as if he as keeping watch of Sungyeol like a personal bodyguard, but they had to say goodbye after since they had different classes afterwards. The moment he was out in the halls going to the next class things weren't so smooth.

               "Aish! I'm so angry! What's so great about that new kid anyways...what was his name again?" One girl said to another.

               "Lee Sunghyun or something...or was it Sungyeol, I dunno? But I bet you, he's probably using Myungsoo Oppa for popularity...and hitting on L oppa on the side! The fact that Myungsoo Oppa is completely smitten by him just piss me off! Ugh just because he has a cute face !" Another girl concluded.

               "Geeze what a too! I bet he wants to get with all the kingkas of our school...I didn't trust him the moment he came to class...acting all cute in front of Myungsoo Oppa! Gets on my nerves." the first girl ranted.

               "Don't worry guys, Myungsoo Oppa will probably get bored of him soon, after he finds out that 's been hitting on L Oppa too." A third girl says.

               "Speaking of L-Oppa what's up with him? I mean he's hot and all but his personality totally ! I guess he only similar to Myungsoo Oppa for his good looks. He's not charming at all... Didn't you see what he did during P.E. today?" Another girl said.

               "YEh! I'm starting to not like L oppa at all!!! Oh poor Myungsoo he'll be so broken hearted...I STILL CAN't BELIEVE THEY ARE DATING!!" One girl cried.

               Sungyeol tried to ignore the as he passed, but their words hurt. He didn't like that they were being so judgmental, gossiping, and spreading such rumors about him, but what was more upsetting was pulling L into it as well, and Myungsoo. Shaking it off he decided to head towards the next class.

               After the last class ended Sungyeol stood by the gates waiting for Myungsoo. He tried to not let the gossip bother him but it wasn't working. He still wondered why Myungsoo suddenly changed his mind and decided to reveal their relationship at school.

               A pair of strong arms circle around him. Knowing it too well he turned around and lean in towards his boyfriend.

               "Did you wait long? I'm sorry." Myungsoo said kissing him on the forehead.

               "Uh uh, I'm fine." Sungyeol said shaking his head inside Myungsoo's neck.

               "What's bothering my Yeolie?" Myungsoo asks.

               "...Myungsoo-ah...why did you suddenly reveal our relationship?" Sungyeol questioned the raven haired boy. Myungsoo quickly took him by the shoulders and stared into Sungyeol's eyes.

               "Listen to me Sungyeol, I did it because I didn't want to hide it. I realized I was wrong. It was wrong of me to keep it a secret, because I love you. I don't want to hide you from people. I want people to know Lee Sungyeol is the one I love." Myungsoo said in a serious tone.

               Myungsoo's words made the brunette's heart tremble. He didn't know that Myungsoo felt so strongly about him as well. All this time he had doubted him, and now to find out how Myungsoo truly felt caused him a lot of guilt. Sungyeol grab onto him tight now and pressing his cheeks tighter against Myungsoo's skin, Sungyeol buried his face inside Myungsoo's nape.

               "I'm sorry for questioning you...I really really love you so much Kim Myungsoo...Thank you..." Sungyeol said desperately. From the side Myungsoo smirked arrogantly holding onto Sungyeol's waist.

               "I love you too baby."

               L made his way into their room like a brooding storm. Myungsoo didn't care to pay attention to L's mood and return to watching his movie. The screen shut off abruptly as L pressed on the off button of the remote.

               "What's your problem?!" Myungsoo glared at his older twin.

               "Tell me why you did that?" L said in an interrogative tone.

               "What did I do?" Myungsoo said unaffected by his brother's tone.

               "Why did you kiss Sungyeol in front of everybody at school today? What were you trying to do?"

               "What's wrong with kissing my boyfriend in public?" Myungsoo said emotionless to L.

               "Don't you know, because of that people will start to target him at school?" L scolded his younger twin.

               "People target each other all the time, sooner or later they'll target someone else when they think the person is dating one of the kingkas. They'll just forget about Sungyeol soon." Myungsoo said nonchalantly.

               "What's with that attitude?! You're his boyfriend! You're suppose to protect him!" L 's tone became a bit more aggressive. He couldn't help but get angry at Myungsoo for his lack of empathy towards his own boyfriend.

               "Yes, he's my boyfriend, so why do you care hyung, unless you have feelings for my boyfriend?! Remember that Sungyeol is mine not yours, so lay off! Wither people pick on him or not it's not your business hyung!" Myungsoo yelled. " At the end of the day it's me whose ing him not you!"

               "YOU PIECE OF TRASH!" L yelled he could feel himself losing it.

               Myungsoo's last words caused L to snap. He pulled L by the collar and punched him in the jaw. Soon the two were on the ground wrestling each other and punching each other senselessly. They had to be separated by their butlers and maids.  

               The next day of school both Myungsoo and L had scratches and bruises all over their face. The Kingka guys didn't dare ask how, or why. They didn't know why L didn't sit with them during lunch or why Myungsoo was being really moody.

               Myungsoo decided he needed some comfort so he sought out Sungyeol during break time. He pulled is boyfriend into an intense make-out session, placing kisses all over his body and almost undressing Sungyeol as they hid in the school's locker room.

               "M...Myungsoo ah...s..stop...we can't." Sungyeol protested trying to remove his boyfriend's wandering hands. Myungsoo was too fast for him. Myungsoo pulled at Sungyeol's pants trying to remove it causing the brunette to squirm in panic.

               "My..myungsoo ah...s..stop...you're not acting normal..." Sungyeol cried between kisses as his boyfriend began groping him all over. "Tell me... w..what's...wrong...?"

               Myungsoo suddenly pulled back frustrated. The sight of Sungyeol's dishevel uniform hanging loosely on his body made Myungsoo want to devour him on the spot, but he knew this wasn't the time for it. He was still frustrated from the fight with L, and he knew Sungyeol isn't fully compliant to it just yet.

               "It's nothing baby...don't worry about it." Myungsoo said leaning in and resting his on Sungyeol's chest. "All I need is you next to me right now."

               "Myungsoo..."

               Myungsoo continued fondling and planting kisses on Sungyeol's body.

               It wasn't that Sungyeol didn't want to be intimate with Myungsoo, but truly he was a bit scared. He knew he love Myungsoo a lot, and he wanted to be with him forever, but there was something that made him a little afraid to take it the next level. Also his parents were strict, and if they found out he did anything with hi boyfriend they would have his head, or worst throw him out of the house.

               Despite his fears he could really feel Myungsoo's love since he publically admitted their relationship to everyone that day. They have been dating about a Month and a half  now, and Myungsoo has been so warm towards him since the beginning. To Sungyeol the other boy really means the world to him.

               Myungsoo looked at his phone and smiled softly as he see his boyfriend's text. From behind his friends peered in at him.

               "Ya ya ya don't tell me you're really falling for him Kim Charming." Jonghyun teased.

               "He's totally smiling by himself right there" Luhan interjected.

               "Shut up bastards!" Myungsoo yelled.

               "Hey, deals off if you really fall for him...and what' up with your progress so far...you have less than a week left. I gave you an extension already." Jonghyun challenged.

               "Hey, I'm all for the win right now, just waiting when the time is right." Myungsoo said cockily.

               " Are you sure about that? Or your little angel isn't really that interested in you to begin with?" Sehun teased.

               "You're losing your touch Prince Charming." Kris joined in.

               His friends irritated him sometimes with their snarky remarks. He was really annoyed and desperate to prove them wrong.

               Since their fight L had stop coming to the cafeteria to the Kingkas' table. He saw no point in it, since before when he got along better with his brother he hung around to keep an eye on Myungsoo from being too overly influenced by his friends, but now Myungsoo is all on his own. He sat on one of the benches on the rooftops thinking to himself. He really had to urge to see Sungyeol, but decided against it since he didn't want to cause more complication between him and Myungsoo.

               Myungsoo had planned it all. On the day of their 50th day anniversary Sungyeol will really be his. He almost had everything set up already. Soon he will definitely prove the other kingkas wrong.

               Sungyeol smiled happily thinking about Myungsoo on the way home. He decided to not walk home with the kingka today because he wanted to find a gift for his boyfriend. Their 50 days anniversary is coming and he wanted to find something nice for Myungsoo, and this was his only chance. Stopping by at several shops he found that it was really hard to find a meaningful gift after all. He had search store by store and still haven't find anything. He wasn't sure what Myungsoo would like since he seem like he has everything already. Sungyeol had plan on making him a handmade card, and buy him something but so far he had only gotten stuff for the card, but the gift itself was still on hold.

               He stop suddenly at the corner when he saw a familiar male. For a second he thought it was his boyfriend but it turned out it was actually his older twin. Sighing in relief he decided to jump out and surprise the older twin.

               "GUESS WHO?!" Sungyeol jumped behind the guy and covered his eyes. By automatic reaction L pulled Sungyeol by the arms and twisted it behind the taller boy's back.

               "O..Owww owww oww....I..L-shi...it's me..owww" Sungyeol cried. Upon seeing Sungyeol L immediately late go.

               "Sorry...it's my natural reaction." L apologized, " Next time...don't jump behind me..."

               Sungyeol stood up and massaged his numb arm gently. L stared at the other boy, internally wanting to hug him.

               "L-shi...you're really dangerous..." Sungyeol whined. " Anyways what are you doing here?"

               "Just taking a walk."

               "Really? So you're free?" Sungyeol asked excitedly. L nodded.

               Sungyeol began to formulate an idea in his head.

               "L-ah since you're Myungsoo's twin...does that mean you guys are telepathic?" Sungyeol asked innocently.

               "Hmpt..." L chuckled at Sungyeol's ridiculous idea. " You're really something..."

               "W..what?" Sungyeol pouted, " I read somewhere that identical twins are telepathic with each other."

               "I think that's only in the movies..." L laughed. Sungyeol couldn't help but notice how handsome the other boy look when he laugh. It wasn't a hysterical laugh like how Myungsoo laugh sometimes, but a small reserve one giving away his shyness.

               "Hey...it's possible." Sungyeol retorted.

               "You really don't know how different we are." L said mentally thinking about Myungsoo and his personality.

               "Hmm I'm sure you're the same, you just deny it because you want to be cool and mysterious." Sungyeol went on.

               "Hmpt whatever you say." L said giving up.

               "Anyways, I'm glad I ran into you L-shi....Actually I was on my way to look for Myungsoo and mine 50th day anniversary present. You probably know Myungsoo better than I do...so you can help me find something he might like." Sungyeol said earnestly. Little did he know that those words really is hard to hear. " So...you'll help me?"

               "...ok." L said hesitantly

               The two walked side by side from store to store. L really didn't know what Myungsoo would like, since knowing Myungsoo he would like something one day and be bored of it the next day. Sighing as they went on, he really wish Sungyeol didn't put him in such a situation.

               "What about this ?" Sungyeol said pulling up some male jewelry pieces. L shook his head in disapproval. Myungsoo really had enough accessories, more would just be meaningless. Looking around the store he found something that caught his eyes. It was a simple platinum necklace with a mobias stripe as a pendant. The sigh of infinity.

               "Woahh thats a nice choice" Sungyeol said, " You have good taste."

               "...Do you know what this is?" L asks.

               "Infinite sign?" Sungyeol said stating the obvious.

               " Yeh but the meaning,...never ending...isn't that what anyone would wish for in a relationship? Here I'm sure Myungsoo would like this." L said, handing Sungyeol the necklace.

               "L-shii that's so meaningful, thanks for helping me find this!" Sungyeol brightened up taking the necklace to the register.

               "That's what I wish we were Sungyeol." L thought to himself feeling sad that in Sungyeol's eyes there is only Kim Myungsoo, and no room for L Kim. L stared at Sungyeol's figure at the register, the sight of the taller boy smiling happily just to buy Myungsoo a gift made him a little envious of Myungsoo again. Myungsoo was lucky to have Sungyeol's love, and he hope that Myungsoo had already realized that.

               L huffed as he entered his home bowing slightly to his older brother Sunggyu and their guest before retreating to his room and unintentionally slamming the front doors violently. Sunggyu and Woohyun starred as L silently walk up the staircase in a more brooding manner than usual. Minutes later it was Myungsoo who came down the stairs with all smiles and a bit of a swing to his walk. The younger of the twins seem to be in a better mood than usual. He bowed to his two hyungs before exiting the house. Sunggyu sighed looking at Woohyun.

               " I swear...they might be twins, but they act like polar opposites...even their moods..." Sunggyu nagged. " I really don't know what to do with them. When one is sad the other is happy, and when the other is brooding the other one is all sunshine...I get so much headaches Woohyung-ah..."

               "Don't worry too much Gyu- hyung they still have a lot of growing up to do. I'm sure they'll find a balance...don't worry yourself too much you have a lot to handle." Woohyun rubbed Sunggyu's tensed shoulders.

               "....Really...Woohyun...I don't know what I'll do without you." Sunggyu said gratefully. Woohyun had been his support since they had met, and in toughest times it was Woohyun who had been there for him to help him raise up the twins in their parents' absense.

               The younger man leaned down and rested his chin on Sunggyu's shoulders, giving him silent support.
