Date: Friday - August 15th 2554

Rýn was feeling a bit off about the whole matter. She placed the letter on the table and glanced at the blue envelope.

  The envelope belonging to KNT, was still left unopened.   Her parents were extremely proud of their daughter that got accepted into the best college of East-Asia. Rýn couldn't help but feel slightly giddy herself but she remained composed.

She knew that without doubt, whether she were to be accepted into KNT, she would still choose Ryujin College.

No one could blame her; it was like having to choose between eating a raw piece of flesh or eating a well prepared steak. Anyone who would rather choose the raw flesh (in this case; KNT college) over the steak, had to be crazy.

Still curiosity got the best of the blue haired female and she opened the letter only having her eyes glance at the first few words 'We are very sorry to...' she frowned and read a bit further 'Your application has been denied...' Rýn’s expression turned into a rather surprised one. "What the hell?" She cursed against her breath.

Ryujin is the hardest school to ever get in to. Meanwhile KNT was fairly if you had at least 60% of your Final exams correct and one curricular activity or more. Which Rýn had; She managed to get an 95 on the exams plus she participated in 3 different curricular activities.

Which made her wonder as to why she was not qualified to go to this average school. Rýn sighed a little before realizing there was no point in over-thinking this all.

Like her mother always says: 'Have no regrets. Anything that happens, happens...' and Rýn treasured those words, which is one of the reasons why she wasn't wondering who sent that application letter.

She was truly blessed, according to her parents. And indeed this was a blessing, since Ryujin was known as the school that created the best, most successful, richest business men.

Rýn nodded to herself, as if saying that she should just accept the fact that she has been given a great chance and that she is now a step closer to having a good career that can help her provide for her parent and brother.

She was fairly happy and slightly anxious. She will now have to work extremely hard if she really wanted to succeed and graduate from this prestigious college. The girl suddenly felt a headache starting to form because of all the thoughts that were clashing each other.

Rýn decided to take a breather. She just wanted to put her mind to rest for a while. All these worries were starting to invade her mind and it began to frustrate her.

Slipping on her shoes, she called out to her parents telling them she's going out for a while.

The usual 'be careful!' and 'come home safely!' were heard while the blue hair girl responded with a 'bye! I love you!' after her parents responded with their warm 'we love you too.' Rýn slowly closed the door and began walking to wherever her feet took her.

She just enjoyed the peaceful sounds of the birds chirping and children laughing. She smiled a little to herself as she walked down a road all too familiar for her. A few more meters ahead and she could already see the blue lake with the red bridge in the distance.

The trees grew in an arch-like way over the path and Rýn could already tell which trees were beginning to change colors. The brown and orange leaves were hanging on to the branches with their dear lives. Autumn was just around the corner and soon even the cherry blossom trees will let their leaves fall and create a pink snowy landscape.

Rýn gave a sigh of content as she sat on the ground with her back against the cherry blossom tree with her legs crossing each other. She just stared at the blue lake while some leaves were already starting to fall. Rýn wasn't thinking of anything at the moment, her mind just went blank and she only stared at the beauty of this deserted place.

Rýn was a very curious child and she was also very adventurous. She found this place when she was 10 years old. It made the girl wonder why no one ever came to this place, but she was also satisfied that she had this place all for herself. Rýn’s eyes closed for a second and she let her mind drift off.

A few moments later a figure appeared from the woods. He was in his black uniform with a golden dragon that was wrapping itself around a silver sword, on it. The boy's hair was slightly messed up and his red tie was undone. The black haired boy ruffled his hair in frustration while casually walking with one hand in his pocket.

He let out a frustrated sigh before sitting on a bench close to the lake. His eyes darted to the sleeping figure across the lake under the cherry blossom tree. The boy had to squints his eyes before he realized it was a girl.

His eyes had a glint of curiosity in them as the boy tilted his head. "What is a girl like her, doing here at this hour?" He muttered to himself. The sun was already starting to set and it wasn't exactly the warmest day either. He cocked an eyebrow at the girl while wondering what to do.

"Oh what hell? Why do I even care?" He asked himself before face-palming himself. "Whatever." He scoffed and he kicked a rock out of frustration.

The rock flew across the lake due to the strength the black haired male used and it landed with a thud next to Rýn. "Oh ." He cursed. Just as Rýn woke up, she could still catch a person with a distinctive red tie and messy black hard turning away and disappearing.

Rýn tilted her head and blinked. Somehow it reminded her of someone and she wasn't even the slightest bit creeped out by the fact that the person must've watched her sleep.

Rýn was just glad he didn't harm her or whatever. She shrugged to herself and stood up. Rýn dusted off her shorts and pulled her jacket tighter around her body, feeling the upcoming autumn breeze coming in.

Rýn shook her head, trying to get the pink leaves out and walked home. Today was indeed a strange day for her, but she just couldn't help but be all happy and giddy inside.

Things are actually starting to look good for her. She slightly swayed as she walked down the path of arched trees. She hummed a little tune which was honestly very unfamiliar for her. But yet it was slightly recognizable somehow.

From the distance the sun was starting to set and Rýn was mesmerized by the sight. After a few minutes of intently looking, she made her way to her home.

After unlocking the door she was welcomed by the aroma of food. "I'm back!" Rýn pulled off her sneakers and hung up her jacket replacing it with a blue cardigan. "Yokoso~." Her parents greeted as her mother set the table.

"How was your walk?" Her father asked, Rýn looked up and gave a small smile "It was very enjoyable. I saw the sunset. I should've taken a picture though..." Her bottom lip slightly protruding making it look like a small pout.

Her father chuckled warm-heartedly "Why take a picture when we can see it ourselves every day?" Rýn chuckled and playfully rolled her eyes "Sure dad, if you say so..." and the night ended with Rýn having small talk with her parents about anything and everything just like always.

After dinner, they bade each other good-nights. And Rýn peacefully fell asleep in her cozy bed.

 

 

"Where the hell were you?" The blond haired boy asked the black haired boy.

The black haired boy shrugged before slipping past his friend.
