In Sickness And In Health"She needs more time, Hyung." I let my shoulders fall down, and I blink to hold back my tears.
"But how is she? Is she still seeing that guy?" I feel my heart jump up again as he shakes his head.
"Nope. But she says she's not ready to come back to you. She wouldn't even let me call her at first, but now she promised to text me back every now and then."
Something is not right.
He is too relaxed.
Playing it off too easy.
He is hiding something for me.
"Junhong-ah..." He turns his head away, mumbles something and tries to slip past me to rush to his room. I grab his arm, maybe a little too tight.
"Don't make me tell you, Hyung," he begs, with the sadness still embedded in his eyes, "she made me promise not to."
"Why do you look as if someone died?" Jongup asks as he walks into the hall and scans the maknae's face. Zelo doesn't answer, and suddenly I am getting scared. This is not good. He is hiding something bad from me.
"Zelo, I am not asking you again," I say through my gritted teeth. The worry is settling in my chest like a soft but heavy cloud, growing stronger and darker each second he keeps his silence. He is obviously torn, but at this moment I don't care how much that kid likes to keep his promises. I need to know it if something is wrong with my wife. So I can help her. So I can be the good husband I vowed to be.
