Concert just now was successful. So many fans screams and there some are crazily calling them from start till the end of concert. EXO members all are very proud. After their show finished, everyone starts to pack and be prepared to back home. Some of them like Luhan, Kris, Xiumin and Suho are going out to have some drinks while others are going out playing somewhere or just sleep at dorm. DO just want back to their dorm and sleep. He never shows any interest to go socialize with s though they just doing very well to each other. Before left the waiting room, he checks his phone to update his activity tomorrow morning. Then he saw 15 miss-called from his granny. ‘There must be something urgent and emergency. Halmeoni never be like this before’. His heart beat fast.

“Yoboseyo halmeoni. Why are you calling me?”

“Omona, Kyung Soo aah, uri Hyun Soo..” Before granny finished the talking, DO interrupt.

“Halmeoni. Stay there, I’ll be home in half an hour. “ Click, DO disconnected the line and rushing out of door.   

Kai who just come from toilet stopped DO and ask him why he was in rush.

“My younger sister, I need to go home by right now.” DO tries to loosen his hand from Kai’s gripped.

“Wait, let me go with you. I brought my car here. Follow me”

“No thanks. I’ll just go by bus”

“Kyaah! Neo babo kyah? Don’t you know who you are? Going by bus? Huh, stop making stupid excuses. Just follow me” Kai raise his voice resentfully  

“But..” DO hesitate.    

“Ppali!” Kai raged.

Lastly DO just follow him without any words. As expected from Kai’s drift, in less than half an hour they already reach to the destination.

DO dash into his house and calling for Hyun Soo.

“Kyung Soo, are you home?” granny approach him

“Halmeoni, what happen to Hyun Soo? Where is she now?” DO restless.

“Aigoo, Kyung Soo, uri Hyun Soo, she locked herself in her room from yesterday and do not eat anything. Im worried. From two days ago she diagnosed high fever but she refuse to eat medicine. And now, she even refused to eat. Ottoke Kyung Soo ah?”

“Let me try to console her. It is okay granny; you’ve done a great job. Now rest okay?” DO hug his granny and moves to Hyun Soo’s room. 

“Hyun Soo, ee guu naa ya, Kyung Soo oppa” Slowly, DO approach his sister

Silent.

“HS, look at me please. I know you won’t talk, but please, let me see your lovely face. Please my dear? Bogoshippo Hyun Soo ah”

You lifted your face and blankly watch your brother. Yes, you miss him so much too. But you can’t even express it because your mouth was like zipped.  Oppa fed you with rice. Then you realize you are really hungry since you didn’t eat for a day. Oppa, like always, brightly talks to you and making joke even though he knew it already that you wouldn’t never give any response to him.

“You must be shocked and tired… drink this“ Halmeoni served hot green tea to Kai

Yeah.. Of course he is shocked. After all things happens in front of him. It is too sudden even though he knew a little bit the stories

“Halmeoni, may I ask something?” Kai brace up and asking

“Of course, Kureoso” She smile

“Why HS becomes like that?” Kai can’t any longer hide his curiosity.

“Aigoo. That’s such a long story. A sad thing ever happened in this family. “ Halmeoni become gloomy. A minute after paused, she continue

“12 years ago, our family was happy. One time, HS keeps asking her father to bring them all to the park. Then one day after so many persuasions, my son brought us all to Jamsil. HS is so close with her dad so she always takes him everywhere whenever she plays. Then, they ride a ferry wheel. Suddenly, the cable car was broken when both of them on top of the wheels. The technician couldn’t fix the wrong ones and the car which has both of them fell down. My son founded die while hugs his little girl, Hyun Soo. A month after that, our house burnt down. My daughter in law died while saving Hyun Soo. Nobody knows, what actually happen because at that time only both of them in the house. After Hyun Soo awake, she never talked about it again. I mean, never talked again. Till now” Halmeoni sobbing

“Im sorry for asking” Kai felt sorry for the tragedy happened to DO’s family

“For two years, she always screams at night, calling for both her parents. Shouted that she killed them and she herself is bad luck. By that time, our money used up to cure HS. Kyung Soo, he always be the side of her sister gives her motivation and strength. I know, KS himself can’t accept all that happen to him. He’s too young for these.” Now halmeoni can’t resist the tears. It keeps flowing from those old eyes

Kai hold his tears from coming out and he embrace DO’s granny to calm the gloomy atmosphere. Now he understand why DO is so serious and cold. Even they are on the stage and sometimes in show, DO will show his serious face to the fans. Manager hyung always rebuke him but he seems doesn’t care about it. Even fans assume that was his concept.

Slowly, Kai approach DO who still patting HS’s head and sing lullaby while she was sleeping. Kai never saw DO’s face like that. The expression was… woahh.. He’s speechless.

“She’s beautiful, isn’t she?” DO make a head in talking

Kai saw your face. You just like a baby in sleep. Innocently looks. Somehow reminds him of sleeping beauty in fairytale.

‘Why I am like this?’ He really hates this feeling.

“Yes, she is.” Kai replied

“I really love her. In this world, I only have her and halmeoni. I really don’t know what will happens if they really leave me again.”

“Go rest Kyungsoo. It’s already 5am and this morning we got schedule. I’ll be here, taking care of her for you.” Kai pats DO’s shoulder, asking him to go to sleep. He already did just now.

“Gwenchana. I’ll be here.”

“DO, listen, we have packed scheduled tomorrow. Please, give your mind and body a rest. I’m not going to eat your precious sister, I’m promise.”

DO sigh. At last, he slowly walks out from the room. Leave both Kai and you alone.

Kai watched you deeply. Then he realizes you have flawlessly fair skin. Your red, soft lips make him want to kiss you right now. Then he touches your head. Warmer than he thought it would be. So Kai quickly replace wet towel on your head.

“Pity you little girl. In such young age, you need to face so many hardships.”

Kai fell asleep while holds your hand. Halemoni enter the room on the morning slowly smiles. She can see a hope in Kai’s face. Maybe he can cure her granddaughter. Maybe love between a guy and girl can change the situation. Anyway, everything is too early in making conclusion
