Kris’s Flashback (Continuation)

Two months after the wedding

“Suho! Where’s my tie?” Kris called out from upstairs where he hurriedly got ready for work.

“It’s on top of the bed!” Suho yelled back from the kitchen where he was making his husband breakfast.

Kris came downstairs struggling with his suit, and Suho giggled.

“Ah Kris haha you always have trouble with that…here let me help you” he said still laughing

“Well what would I do without you?” Kris asked himself as Suho began helping him.

“Breakfast will be ready in a bit” Suho informed Kris who had now sat down on the table.

“Do you want me to help you?” Kris asked noticing how Suho was struggling to cut some fruit.

“No that’s okay; I’m just having a bit of trouble with…Ouch!”

Kris looked up from his papers to see Suho’s hand bleeding. He immediately stood up and hurried taking Suho’s hand and pressing some paper towels to stop the bleeding.

“I’m sorry…” Suho said, his lips trembling like he was about to cry.

“Don’t worry. Everything’s okay” Kris assured him placing a kiss on the black haired boy’s forehead.

“I’m still as clumsy as ever” a few tears began to run down Suho’s cheeks and Kris wiped them off with his thumb.

“No you’re not. In fact, you’re the least clumsy person I know”

Suho began laughing suddenly catching Kris off guard.

“What? Why are you laughing?” Kris asked curiously

“Haha Aren’t I like the only person you know Kris” Suho smiled widely

“Are you calling me antisocial?” Kris’s eyes widened

“Well I’m certainly not calling you a social person”

“Haha very funny”
“Oh you mean me? Haha yes I’m very funny”

They both laughed, and Kris finished making breakfast. After eating, and making sure Suho’s hand was alright, Kris left for work but not before kissing the petite boy.

Every day was like this, Kris went to work early in the morning, and Suho stayed home alone all day either cleaning or watching TV. However Kris began to worry once he noticed that Suho stayed too much time alone in the big house.

“You want me to get you a cat?” Kris asked one night when they were both watching a scary movie, and Suho hid his face against Kris’s chest.

Kris smiled knowing that Suho was freaking out because of the movie.

“Why did you put a scary movie on?” Suho asked still buried against Kris’s side.

“You said you would watch it” Kris replied concerned

“I didn’t know it would be this scary….and what was that about a cat?” Suho said finally looking up at Kris but still ignoring the TV

“I asked if you wanted a cat…you know I work until late, and maybe some company would help”

“Hmm” Suho said suddenly in deep thought

“Or maybe a dog?” Kris suggested

“I want…” Suho said biting his lower lip nervously

“You want?”

Suho unwrapped his arms from around Kris and starred at him intently

“I want a baby…”

2-3 Weeks later

“I’m here!” Suho exclaimed excitedly through the phone, and he bit his lower lip

“Ah really?” Kris answered through the other line, but his voice was a tad bit calmer

“Mhm”

“Hey I’m sorry I couldn’t go today, but I’ll go home as soon as I can”

“Don’t worry, and take your time. Oh God I’m so nervous” Suho replied as he switched the cell phone to his other ear.

“Just try to calm down a bit, and don’t make any spontaneous decisions” Kris told him with a light laugh knowing how Suho was a wreck of emotions right now

“Okay I need to hang up now, I love you! And thank you Kris”

“I love you too, but why are you thanking me?” Kris asked curiously

“For letting me do this. Okay bye bye I love you!” Suho suddenly hung up

The day went by slowly, and Kris suddenly began feeling more and more nervous as he wondered how Suho was doing.

-I should call him- he kept on thinking, but each time he would pick up the phone, his secretary would come in with paperwork for him to sign.

After a long day of work, Kris finally got home, but not before he bought some dinner for Suho, and himself.

To his immense surprise, he heard laughter as soon as he opened the door.

“Ah he’s here!” Kris heard Suho say excitedly from the living room.

Kris began taking his shoes off only to look up and see Suho smiling widely at him.

“We need to talk” Suho told him

“About what? Did you find one….” Kris asked smiling back at his wife

“Well…” Suho suddenly coughed nervously “I wouldn’t say one…”

Luhan, Kai, Chanyeol, Lay, Sehun, Baekhyun, Chen, Xiumin, D.O., and Tao. There were exactly ten teenage boys sitting in the wide living room nervously smiling at Kris.

“Don’t get mad…” Suho had told him before Kris walked into the room

Now he knew what Suho meant.

“Oh” Was all Kris could manage to say

“Hello Sir!” They all replied at the same time bowing down to Kris

“Aren’t they all just the cutest things ever” Suho ran and wrapped his arms around one that had big round doe like eyes.

“Yeah…How…How old are all of you?” Kris asked curiously

He heard different replied ranging from 15-16, and Kris nodded still in a state of shock.

“Can I talk to you Suho?” he asked trying to be as calm as possible

“Mhm” Suho said letting go of the boy, Luhan, and following Kris into the kitchen

“There’s ten of them…” Kris whispered turning around to look at Suho

Suho bit his lip and tried to convince Kris about how happy he was. Finally after what seemed like a full hour discussion, Kris agreed to keep all the boys.

“Yay! Thank you Kris” Suho smiled widely, and Kris couldn’t help but smile at how happy his wife looked.

-Well at least he won’t be lonely- He thought hoping that this was actually a good idea

They both walked back into the living room, and found the boys nervously sitting there waiting for an answer.

“So boys” Suho began with a huge smile “Kris agreed to have you all here”

The boys smiled and thanked Kris who in return smiled back at all of them.

It wasn’t long before the boys began calling Kris dad, and Suho mom. Not being too used to it yet, Kris felt a little uneasy at first, but with time he got used to the new nickname.

Approximately 1 year and ½ after the wedding

Work began to get busier with more and more companies transferring their shares to Kris’s company. There were days were Kris had to stay and sleep in the office in order to finish all the paperwork, it was getting very exhausting. However, when he was finally able to go home, the first thing he noticed was the way Suho seemed extremely busy himself with taking care of the ten boys.

Suho and Kris had even gotten into an argument once over how they were always busy and never had time for them. It had ended with Suho bursting out in tears, and telling Kris how he was a horrible person before Kris told him how sorry he was and they both ended up hugging and moving on.

Day after day, Kris felt less and less happy about getting home. He didn’t blame the kids, and he obviously didn’t blame Suho. There was just something that felt like it was missing, and Kris couldn’t put his finger on it. However he didn’t expect to find it where he did.

One day, when he went to leave Tao’s medicine at school, he accidently bumped into a girl. Her hair was dark brown, and her gaze told Kris that she had some sort of interest. Kris dismissed it knowing she was just some high school girl, but slowly after he would find out that she was more than just that.

Everything started without Kris even realizing it. From dropping things off at the kid’s school, which either Luhan, or Chen had accidently forgotten, to bumping into the same girl each time. Her name was Narae, and it catched Kris off guard once he noticed that she was friends with his own kids. She was the first to make a move, while Kris was walking out of his room upstairs and she so happened to be walking out of the restroom that was located just in front of the room.

Without any warning, she pushed Kris against the wall, and kissed him only breaking the kiss when they both heard someone coming up the stairs.

“Oh you’re here” Lay said smiling as he took the girl’s hand and began dragging her downstairs to meet up with the rest.

Kris stayed glued to the wall unable to process what had just happened, but when he finally did, he knew that this meant trouble.

After a few weeks and constant teasing from Narae, Kris finally gave in meeting up with her in an expensive hotel room where they spent the night. However when Kris woke up, he immediately felt guilt spreading all over, and he knew just how much he deserved losing everything he had starting from Suho. But he couldn’t even think of what would happen if he ever lost the one person he loved, if that was even called love.

-Just how hurt would Suho be...What about the kids?... - Kris kept thinking as he pressed Narae against the wall and began kissing her.

But for now…Just for now…Let’s forget I’m married.
