She didn’t reply, launching for his lips once more. She locked their lips together, greeting his tongue and allowing him to know just how much she craved him. The kiss grew more passionate as they stumbled to leave the hospital.

The world paused that night as the only voices were their rapid breaths, kisses and moans. They finally gave in to sleep near dawn, held in each other's arms.

She could smell the vivid scents of flowers. She turned to find him holding her tightly. She felt warm, despite the progressively colder weather. It was such a relaxing position, so comfortable, so calm. She was home.
