Fifteen
HealingShe didn’t reply, launching for his lips once more. She locked their lips together, greeting his tongue and allowing him to know just how much she craved him. The kiss grew more passionate as they stumbled to leave the hospital.
The world paused that night as the only voices were their rapid breaths, kisses and moans. They finally gave in to sleep near dawn, held in each other's arms.
He woke up to her smiling face as she gazed down at him. He was lying in her lap as they sat beneath the willow tree. “Good morning”
“Good morning” he answered her with a sleepy voice.
“You look adorable when you’re waking up did you know that?” his smile matched hers. They both lied there together as her fingers played with his hair, their hands held together. He didn’t even care if this was his imagination. He wouldn’t mind wasting time to dream about such sight “I couldn’t sleep last night”
“Me neither” his smirk caused her to giggle.
“But I didn’t mind it. It was wonderful” she finally let go of his hand to feel her stomach.

She could smell the vivid scents of flowers. She turned to find him holding her tightly. She felt warm, despite the progressively colder weather. It was such a relaxing position, so comfortable, so calm. She was home.
He was her home.
She just found it a bit too late.
She couldn’t understand anything anymore. Why did this feel so right when she spent weeks convincing herself that it was wrong? Why was she meant to break his heart, even though she’d give her life for his sake? Was this her destiny?
She just knew that for the first time, it didn’t hurt. Nothing hurt her when she’s held so tightly. She wanted to stay in his arms, in this love he overwhelmed her with. She wanted to die in his arms.
She only realized that her eyes grew blurry when a single tear fell to his arm. He stirred, his eyes opening to watch her. A warm smile crept to his lips as he gently wiped away her tears. He didn’t say anything, holding her tighter and allowing her to cry.
It didn’t take long for her to quiet down. She shifted, pressing her back against his body. “What happens now?” she asked. He heaved a sigh. His fingers her hair as he rested close to her neck, close enough to smell her sweet scent.
“Do you want to be with me?” he answered after a heavy pause.
Her eyebrows furrowed. She turned back to face him. “It’s not that simple” she argued.
