He woke up to her giggling that morning. She was in an oversized white shirt. It took a moment for him to realize that was his white coat.
“Good morning”
“Morning oppa” he now realized his reflex hammer was placed beside him. She picked it up. She seemed so excited, like a child playing with toy medical kit. “I’ll be your doctor for the day” She told him and gently swung it against his knee.
“It doesn’t work when I’m lying down”
He chuckled and held her arms, bringing her to his hold. She rested there for a few moments before getting up. She now held a stethoscope.
“You won’t hear anything, my heart is stolen”
She rolled her eyes. “That’s terribly cheesy” she told him as she calmed to listen. He allowed her to for a few seconds before he brought her closer into his embrace and kissed her forehead. She lied on his chest. She didn’t need the stethoscope to listen to his heart when he’s so close.
“Did you know your heart sounds like Buing Buing?”
He chuckled. “My heart sounds like lub dub”
“It really doesn’t!”
He sighed. “If it sounds like Buing Buing, that means there’s something seriously wrong with it, Suzy-ah”
“But I like it that way. It sounds like my heart” she pouted and held her hand against her chest.
“Shall I have a listen then?”
She hit his arm in protest. “Yah!”
He snatched the stethoscope, giving her an evil smirk before resting it on her chest above the coat. He touched his heart. That was when he realized that their heartbeats indeed match.
He could get used to holding her every morning like that, delighted to know that everything about her was designed to complete him.
“You’re a really y doctor” he whispered near her ear and she blushed, attempting to get up again, only to be stopped with his arms.

“Good morning, sunbae” he greeted as he joined Dae Wang on the table. It was their break and they were used to drinking coffee together and sharing conversations all those past years.
This time was special for Seung gi. His coffee wasn’t so biter this time, it was rather sweet, just like her.
Dae Wang yawned in response while opening his coffee container. “It’s not morning yet for me, I didn’t sleep last night. I performed a deep stimulation operation on a patient with Parkinson’s”
“How did it go?” he asked.
“Who do you think you’re talking to? Of course it went perfectly” he answered him with a grin and Seung gi chuckled at his sureness. “Did you talk to her about the surgery, your girlfriend?”
“My girlfriend?”
“You’re not the best in lying.
