Chapter One
Behind Enemy Lines
"Please, please, let me go." Hyuna begged and then sniffed, her eyes blurry with tears. The man leaned forward, getting face to face with Hyuna. She cringed smelling the horrible odour that stung his warm breath.
"Now, why," He let out a breath, "Would I do that?" He raised his brows. A tear dropped for her eye.
"Please...I'll...." She trailed off. What could she possibly owe this man? "Please." Her voice cracked. He chuckled acidly.
"Please, please," He mocked her, curling out his lip attempting to mock her pouting expression. He then grinned evilly at her. "Sit tight, cupcake." He tapped her nose lightly with his finger and then winked. She winced at the touch. He turned around and walked around the room, which was very dark besides the small lamp on the man's desk that was shining brightly, but really it was still quite dark.
"What do you want from me?" She croaked. "I....I have nothing to offer you. My father died when I was 12 and my family has always been lacking the money...we don't have much. It won't take long until we'll be out on the streets and my sister...she's fighting a rare disease, but I can't remember the name of it, but she needs medical help and--"
He rolls his eyes and turns to look at her, "I don't remember asking for your life story." He interrupts, making her go quiet. He walks around and sits on his desk. He picks up a black gun and fiddles with it. He looks over to Hyuna who is absolutely petrified. He smirks and opens a drawer. He hums a random tune as he loads the gun with shiny, gold bullets. Hyuna gulped already imaging one of them being lodged into her stomach or maybe even her head. It would be painful. She turns her head back around, not wanting to look at him. He chuckles evilly. And sets the gun down.
Hyuna squeals slightly when she feels something cold on her lips. It's sticky and then she feels the man pat it down. She realizes it's duct tape. She looks at him, helplessly.
"That should keep your quiet for a while." He says and walks around the room again, his cheeks and chin. The phone rings, making Hyuna jump. She helplessly tries to tug her arms that were wrapped around the back of the chair and tied together by a harsh, rough rope. It was no use. She was not going to get free. She could already feel her wrists bruising. He picks it up. He smirks. "Oh, I've got her." Hyuna squeezed her eyes shut tightly, fear dancing in her soul. "Well, sure you can come down."
He walks over to Hyuna after hanging up the phone. He whistles a random tune but it sounds quite mischievous as it echoes through the quiet surroundings of the office that him and Hyuna are in. "Well, cupcake, it looks like it's your lucky day." Hyuna cringed at the nickname. "Mr. Woohyun should be here any minute." He smirks and then rips the tape off of . She cries out slightly as her lips burn.
"Zico."
"Woohyun. Glad to see you could make it." 'Zico' grins not taking his eyes off of Hyuna's scared ones. He then turns and walks over to 'Woohyun'. Woohyun nods.
"I hacked into a few files." He announces. "She works at Tilly's." He says with a evil grin.
"Cupcake," Zico turns to Hyuna with a smirk. "Why didn't you say so?" Hyuna swallows hard. "I heard that is a very good money-making restaurant with a safe that holds a lot of money." Hyuna shakes her head no, instantly knowing what they want. "We want that money. Give us that money. Take us to the safe and get us that money."
