I vividly remember what happened yesterday. After my breakdown Toushiro have helped me in the car and I told him all about my mother’s accident and he kept apologizing like as if it’s his fault. Having him closer than usual have given a different kind of warmth in my heart and I can confirm to you that I’m in love with him. Really, there’s no point in hiding it because it’s there right before my eyes and I’m dying to show it to him.

            I lazily walked around my house and tried to put things in order because it’s been a long time since I last paid attention to it. I made myself some onigiri for breakfast and I slouched in the couch to eat. I have just had my first helping when my doorbell rang.

            I walked up to the door wondering who could be my visitor and opened to find Toushiro standing outside, smiling at me. My face automatically lit up to a smile when I saw him and asked him to get inside.

            “Did I wake you up?” he asked.

            I shook my head and directed him in the sofa. “I just woke up.”

            “How are you feeling?” Toushiro asked giving me an apprehensive look.

            “I’m fine.” I assured him.

            He handed me the box he was holding and inside different pasties. I put in the center table and bustled in the kitchen to make him some tea.

            “Why is everything so purple?” I heard him called through the living room.

            “It’s my favorite color.” I shouted.

            I went outside holding a tray of tea while Toushiro inspect my little house.

            “Have some tea.” I said pouring him some.

            “You have a cute house.” Toushiro smiled at me. “It’s little like you.”

            I draw up myself in a dignified stand and pouted at him. “I’m not little.”

            Toushiro laughed, “I mean kawaii.”

            We ate breakfast chatting about different stuff and I’m so happy knowing other things about him.

            “You want to go out for a while?” Toushiro asked when we finished eating.

            My heart leapt in excitement. “Hai.”

            I took a quick bath and picked a dress while Toushiro wait for me in the living room watching television.

            “I’m ready.” I called after him and together we went out of the house.

            Toushiro’s car is waiting for us outside my house and he drove it with such grace. We started our day by going in the shelter to visit Mimi and Angelo. We went to lunch after that and we drove all around Osaka to find ourselves buying crazy stuffs.

            “Do you want to go home now?” Toushiro asked. We were parked in a scenic view and I’m currently sitting on the hood of Toushiro’s car savoring the fresh wind whipping up my hair.

            I shook my head. “Not yet.”

            Toushiro was silent for a moment. “Do you know a place called Sakura Garden?”

            The name rings a bell but no images came to mind. “I might’ve heard of it but I don’t think I’ve seen it.”

            Toushiro frowned at me and said almost to himself. “Of course.”

            “Is it beautiful there.” I asked curiously.

            “Hai.”

            “Is it far from here?” I asked him again.

            “Not really.” He said shaking his head.

            “It’s still early, I want to see it.” I exclaimed.

            Toushiro gave me a dubious look but I finally convinced him and twenty minutes later we were standing in front of a great arch, SAKURA GARDEN emblazoned on it. Toushiro took my hand and led me inside. It was deserted and the place has the air of abandonment.

            “Why is it so quiet?” I asked Toushiro my voice echoing a little loudly.

            “I’m the only one who goes to this place anymore.” he explained and pointed at the sign I missed. ‘Under construction. Do not Enter.’ the sign said.

            “Why is it abandoned?” I asked curiously, looking around.

            “It was once a beautiful place but people lost interest in it when other parks were made around the place.” Toushiro said and led me further inside.

            “Why do you like it here?” I asked him and then I gasped. Inside the park is an old well, vines curling around it and surrounding the well were different sizes of purple flowers.

            “Because this place is as important as my life.” Toushiro smiled wistfully.

            I looked up at him. “Why?”

            “I found it when I was five and I met a very charming girl.” Toushiro explained.

            “What happened to the girl?” I asked looking away.

            “We got separated through time.” he said sadly.

            I looked at the flowers forcefully, bitter tears springing in my eyes. “Why do you always come back here is she’s gone?”

            “Maybe it’s because after all this time, I’m still hoping to see her here.” Toushiro said his voice full of emotions.

            I felt a stabbing pain and jealousy. Whoever Toushiro is talking about she sure is lucky having someone waiting for him all this time. I couldn’t help thinking how selfish that girl could be making Toushiro wait.

            I stood up and wiped my tears silently not wanting to make Toushiro see. I faced him and put on a brave smile although my heart is breaking. “Let’s go. I’m tired already.”

            Toushiro frowned at me. “Are you sure?”

            “Hai.” I answered and Toushiro gave me a sad smile.

            He opened the car for me and as we sped away I felt like as if I left my heart in that place. I imagined myself being there beside the enchanting flowers.

            I imagined myself being the girl Toushiro is waiting for.
