Luhan saw his mother in his dream again that night. This time the dream was more beautiful and much brighter.

          It was Friday afternoon, and Luhan was headed to ‘Im’s Food World’, which now seemed like a part of daily routine to him.

         As he entered the shop, there was not a soul inside. He looked around and walked inside. He even peeked into the counter and the kitchen. There was nobody there. After a little while, Sehun entered the shop.

          “Yah Sehun.” Luhan said. “Nobody’s here.”

         “I can see that nobody is here.” Sehun said, casually walking into the kitchen. Luhan followed him. “But why?” He asked.

          “We’re closed on Fridays. Our day off.” Sehun said. “The sign board on the door says it.”

          “I see.” Luhan said. “So Yoona’s not gonna come right?” Sehun nodded. “Yeah. I’m here just to manage some stuff.” He said, not looking at Luhan. Luhan sighed without knowing and that’s when the younger glanced at him. “It hasn’t been long since you guys met, how do you like her so much?” He asked and Luhan’s eyes widened as he stepped back abruptly. “W-What?” He was trying hard not to blush or stutter. “I-I don’t like her that way…”

          Sehun rolled his eyes and laughed. “Yoongie’s probably the only one who doesn’t know. I guess even the customers who come here know your feelings towards her.” He said, smirking and Luhan frowned, folding his arms. “I don’t understand you. We’re just friends, okay?” He said.

          “But you do like her more than just that, don’t you?” Luhan swallowed a little when Sehun said it. “H-How can you decide that on your own?” He asked, trying to act cool.

          Sehun chuckled again. “Please, I wasn’t the one who decided that. You were.” He said. Luhan didn’t say anything, he was feeling a little nervous and embarrassed.

          “Anyway, I think you’re somehow special to her too.” Sehun went on, giving a smile to Luhan. “She talks about you a lot, even though they’re all complains. ‘He’s so mean’, ‘He thinks I’m in love’, ‘I wonder if that idiot would come again’, stuff like that.” Luhan couldn’t help but smile a little at that. “Yoona noona doesn’t really make friends that easily. Moreover, not with a guy.”

          “I see.” Luhan couldn’t hide his happiness. “Well, I guess I do have the charms.” He scratched his head as Sehun scoffed with a loud laugh. “Are you praising yourself?” He asked and Luhan shrugged, joining in the latter’s laughter.

          Luhan’s face was somehow gloomy, and he didn’t even realize it. He was looking forward to seeing his very weird ‘girl’ friend and having to go home without catching a glimpse of her made him a little sad. While he was walking silently on the almost deserted road, he heard a bunch of kids coming his way.

          “What do you think she has for us today?” One of the eight kids in the group asked, jumping around.

          “I don’t know. I like everything she has for us!” A long haired little girl exclaimed cheerfully.

          “Jun, you picked a rose for her?” A boy nudged the one beside him. He was holding a beautiful red rose, but his face was completely straight with a mean emotion. “Are you going to confess your love?”

          “H-Hell no! As if I’d do that!” The mean one snapped angrily, but he was blushing madly.

          ‘Seems like a fun little group.’ Luhan thought to himself with a sigh. ‘I wish I went back to that age.’

          “Hey hey hey…” Another girl spoke up. “Who’s going to get the first hug from Cookie Yoong today?” She asked, grinning.

          “Me!”

          “No me!!”

          “It’s definitely me!”

         “No! I’m the one Cookie Yoong will hug first!”

          ‘A hug, huh?’ Luhan wondered, looking at the sky as the kids skipped past him.

          Wait…

          Luhan’s eyes widened.

          Cookie Yoong!!!???

          Luhan immediately ran up to the bunch of kids.

          “Hey! Hey you guys, wait up!” He called out and all of them turned around to stare at him.

          “Who are you?” The mean kiddo a.k.a Jun asked (meanly of course).

          Luhan took a breath. “Are you guys Yoona’s neighbors?” He asked and they all nodded after exchanging confused glances with one another. “Why?”

          “Are you guys on your way to see her?” They nodded again.

          Luhan smiled triumphantly. He was definitely going to see her that day. “Uh… can you… Take me with you?” He asked.

          “Okay, but who are you, ahjussi?” A boy asked.

          ‘Ahjussi?’

          “I’m Yoona’s friend. I want to see her.” He explained. “And please don’t call me-“

          “Come on then, ahjussi!” A girl said, smiling widely.

          ‘Really? Do I look that old?’

          “Okay, thanks guys.” Luhan’s face lit up. He started following behind the children, listening to their arguments about Yoona. ‘They must really love her. Someone’s even going to confess!’ Luhan chuckled inwardly.

(Luhan POV)

          The area Yoona lived around was really quiet and calm. There weren’t many houses and shops around, and the houses were beautiful with most of them having gardens all around. The sweet and delicate fragrance from the blooming flowers in the gardens was caught in the atmosphere and I couldn’t help but inhale deeply, enjoying the scent of nature. The sky was painted in very faint shades of yellow and orange as the sun slowly made its way to the horizon. It was all so pleasant and alluring that I didn’t even realize it when we arrived at Yoona’s place.

          “We’re here.” I heard one of the kids say and quickly looked around. We were at the gates of a very simple yet nice house. Within a second, I caught the sight of the beautiful brunette who was watering the flowers in the garden with a hose. When she heard the kids, she looked up.

          “Cookie Yooooooong!!!!” The kids all dashed towards her as if they saw a pile of presents and gathered around her. Yoona broke into a wide smile as she bent down to greet all of them.

          “I’ve been waiting for you all.” She said, and looked up to see me staring at her. When our eyes met, I quickly cleared my throat, looking away. “Hey, ‘Cookie Yoong’.” I said, smiling a little.

          Yoona straightened herself up. “Oh, I see you have brought an unexpected guest with you.” She said to the children.

           “That deer ahjussi told us that he’s a friend of yours and he wanted to see you.” Jun came near Yoona, staring at me. I frowned. Deer ahjussi? What the hell?

          Yoona started laughing. “Is that right, ‘deer ahjussi’?” She asked, raising a brow.

          “Don’t call me that. And… I heard them talk about you so I thought I might as well pay a visit. You know, to see the place you live and all.” I said, feeling a little embarrassed. I actually was kind of desperate to see her, but no way I was going to admit it to her.

          “Yoooong!!!!” The kids gathered around Yoona again before she could say anything. “What do you have for us today?” They asked. Yoona smiled as she pointed to the house. “I baked cakes for you. You can go inside. I’ll be going in a while okay?” She said and they obediently nodded before noisily running inside, squealing and shouting excitedly. One of them ran halfway and came running back to Yoona. “Cookie Yoong, give me a hug!” Yoona chuckled and bent down to the girl, hugging her tightly. Then the kiddo ran into the house, yelling like crazy. “Yaaaaayy!!!! Yoongie hugged me first!!!”

          When they all had disappeared inside, Yoona took her hose and started watering the plants again. “So, ahjussi, how are you?” She smirked at me and I frowned. “Once you start you never know how to stop do you?” I asked.

          “Oops, did I annoy you?” Her grin faded. “I’m sorry, I was just joking, Lu San.”

          “You forgot my name again?”

          “Hahaha noooo! I was joking again.” She burst out into laughter.

          “You’re really lame.” I said, watching her eyebrows furrow. “So are your jokes.”

          “WHAT?”

          “You are lame, Yoongie. And your jokes are lame too.”

          “Say that one more time.”

          “You sure?”

          Suddenly, water came splashing all over me and the next thing I knew was that I was drenched. “Hey!” I yelled out, glaring at Yoona. She was staring at me with a straight face. “OMG, I’m sorry I didn’t see you there.” She muttered.

          I rolled my eyes, ruffling my wet hair. “That wasn’t funny.”

         “Hell yeah it was.” Yoona said, sticking her whole tongue out. “For me, it was very very very funny.”

          When I scoffed and looked away, I saw another water hose lying there on the grass. I glanced at Yoona who resumed watering the flowers as if nothing had happened and slowly walked over to it. I took it in my hand and turned it on.

          “HEEEEEEEEEEEYYY!!!!” I smirked, hearing Yoona’s high pitched scream and seeing her drop her hose and run around. “Stop it!!! STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP IT!!!!!!!” She kept on screaming. I laughed like a maniac. “Serves you right!” I shouted at her, turning it off. Yoona was panting and glaring at me, water dripping off her clothes and her hair. “Just you wait, Lu Han. I’m going to kill you someday soon.” She warned angrily. I just laughed. She was so beautiful even when wet and angry. When was this woman not beautiful?

          “I just payed back so that we’re even.” I pointed at myself, who had got soaked from head to toe as well. Yoona made a face. “I’m going inside.” She said. “Are you coming or what?”

          “Nah, I want to go home and change.” I said. “But thank you for your offer. If you want me to visit some other time, I’ll gladly do it.” Yoona rolled her eyes and scoffed. “Oh please. You’re too delusional, Luhan.” She said. “But if you want to come again, I won’t mind if you do.” And after flashing a beautiful smile at me, she started to walk inside. I blushed furiously. Why is she making my face heat up dammit! I ruffled my hair and turned to go.

         
          “Luhan?” Yoona called to me. “Yeah?” I turned around.

          “It’s nice to see you.”

          I smiled, feeling my soul fly into the air. “It's nice to see you too.” I said.

          While I turned around, I saw a tall figure looking my way. However, before I could take a better look at who it was, the figure had already turned around and left. I shrugged, thinking that it was just my imagination.

          I was just a block away from my house when a guy leaning against a wall waved at me. Trying to remember if I had seen him before, I went near the tanned brunette one who looked really stylish and stunning.

          “Do I know you?” I asked politely. He smiled and shook his head. “No, but I need help from you.” He said and I raised my eyebrows. “I see. What can I help you with?”

          “Do you know where ‘Im’s Food World’ is?” He asked. Ofcourse, how could I not know? By the way, why was he searching for Yoona’s shop?

          “Uhm, yeah I do.” I said. “Do you want to know the way?” I asked and he nodded, still smiling. “Okay.” I said and told him the way to go. He listened carefully. “But the shop is closed after 6.30, and on Fridays too.” I said. He nodded understandingly. “Thanks for the help.” He thanked me politely. Then he held out his right hand to me. “Let’s be friends.” He smiled again and I did too. Without hesitating, I took his hand and shook it. “I’m Jongin.” He introduced himself.

          “I’m Luhan.” I said.

          “Thanks again for the help.” He waved at me before I left. I waved back at him. "Anytime."

          "And, don't catch a cold." I heard him chuckle a bit. "You're all soaked." I chuckled as well. "Yeah, thanks."
