Celebration

The night was here, fireworks were shooting off in the near distance; a celebration? I thought and headed towards the sparkling colors. If this is fun then I will devote myself to at least participating in the laughing and watching. Who am I kidding, the shy kid that is only comfortable when dancing and watching others laugh. Have fun, I don't understand what that is, and probably won't again.....

Melody POV

"Well, are you gonna come meet this guy over here! or what?"

I looked at Amber, my friend for thousands of years, and yet she seemed so eager to have a boyfriend; a good girl she was.

"No, I think I will sit right here and watch the fireworks. You go party."

"Okay, I will be over there, he is super cute! but loosen up and join in a bit okay?"

"If I have a sudden urge to dance with any guy I will join you on the dance floor okay"

I watched her run to the guy, waving her hands in the air and screaming. PARTY!!!!

What am I to do with her? What shall I do while, I am doing nothing as usual? Some night right.....

The DJ shouted as he turned the music off and pointed to the sky above, it's dark blue and black complexion flickering with shining dots scattered everywhere. As I began to think about everything, a large purple and silver firework exploded into the dark sky, I watched in awe as not only were the fireworks beautiful. But confetti began falling around and people oohed and aahed at the colors; grabbing confetti and hugging their loved ones or holding hands with friends.
