Chapter 6

Hannah was asked to go to the studios for the interview. This should have been done right after she separated from Siwon that first day, but the studio wasn’t available so it was deferred.  It’s the regular WGM interview where they would ask you things about  what happened during the day. It’s also shown during WGM broadcast.

Hannah sat on the chair as one of the staff sat across her.

“Were you nervous on that first meeting?” asked the staff

“Ummm..yes…I was extremely nervous.” Said Hannah “I didn’t know what to expect…so I was really nervous.”

“When you went inside the restaurant…and was asked to open that door. How did you feel like?” asked the staff

“Oh…my heart felt like it’s trying to get free off my chest…” said Hannah

The staff chuckled. “And then when you opened the door and saw your husband…what was your initial thinking?” asked the staff

“I…think my mind did not function for a minute…” said Hannah

That made the staff laugh. Why is the staff laughing? Did she say anything funny? Did she use an incorrect Korean word again?

“So When you saw that your husband was Siwon—“

“I thought I was dreaming…like ‘Really? Is he really my husband?’” said Hannah her eyes wide in her passionate explanation. “And when I blinked a few times and I was sure I wasn’t dreaming…I just…can’t believe it.”

“Why can’t you believe it? You did not think it would be Siwon?” asked the staff

“No…really not…I mean…I wasn’t thinking that it would be anyone as big a star as him.” Said Hannah “Super Junior is very popular…and Siwon…might be one of the most popular member.”

“Have you met him before?” asked the staff

“I know him because I saw him on TV. I think we’ve met once in a show where I was a guest and he visited his friend…but that was the only time we met and it was really brief…I thought he will not even remember.” Said Hannah

“Do you think he remembers?” asked the staff

“He said he does.” Said Hannah “Umm…I made an embarassing mistake in that show…I don’t think he’ll forget me easily because of that.”

“Which mistake is that?” asked the staff

Hannah  closed her eyes tightly in embarrassment as she said “I sang off tune there with one of my team members…it was so embarrassing and so obvious…it hit the news the day it was broadcasted.”

“Oh yeah! That I remember.” Said the staff

“See…even you remember.” Said Hannah making even the camera man laugh.

Hannah sat on the chair by the restaurant. She arrived first.

Hmmm…hopefully everything works well today.

Hannah noticed a car stopped in front of the restaurant. As the man went out from it, Hannah can’t help but be mesmerized.

It’s Siwon. He looks like a shining model out in the sun…

Siwon was in a hurry to get inside…maybe because he’s afraid people will take notice of him or perhaps he’s afraid of the sun.

“You’re here.” said Siwon

“Yes.” Said Hannah

She has to pretend the cameras are not around…she can’t be nervous…she has to make this work.

“It’s been 2 weeks isn’t it?” asked Siwon

They both agreed that they’ll pretend they did not talk on the café after the taping that first day…no one has to know what they talked about that day.

He said he’ll act like a good husband…

“Yes. 2 weeks.” Said Hannah

“What did you do during the 2 weeks?” asked Siwon

He’s a good actor then…Hannah closed her eyes and opened it again. She told him she’ll erase that line that separates reality and acting…so it has to start from her…she has to believe everything he says and does is real.

“Hmmm…We had rehearsals and some performances.” Said Hannah “Our group got an endorsement so we had a pictorial too.”

“Was it fun?” asked Siwon

“The pictorial was fun.” Said Hannah “The costumes were weird and funny…so it was really fun.”

Hmmm…she seems to be better today…she doesn’t look so nervous. Thought Siwon.

Siwon looked at Hannah’s hand…it’s still clenched on her lap…He can’t help but smirk…she’s still nervous…

“Umm…how about you Oppa…what did you do the past 2 weeks?” asked Hannah

“Hmm…I am preparing for a song…so I’m rehearsing a lot…recording a lot…I just got out of enlistment so I’m also into planning sessions in terms of next projects.” Said Siwon

“That’s cool, Oppa.” Said Hannah

“Cool?” asked Siwon

“Yes. It means you carefully select your projects for your fans. For someone who has a lot of choices…you only want to give the best that’s why you plan a lot.” Said Hannah

Siwon had to stop for a second. Something in what Hannah said stuck to him.

“Yeah….that’s true…” said Siwon

“It’s like when I’m buying a cake for a friend…since I want him to be really happy, I will choose the best cake I can find…or anything I know he will like.” Said Hannah
