Chapter 31

Siwon and Hannah walked hand in hand along the tree paths of Nami island.

“This is so beautiful…I wish I would have gone here sooner.” Said Hannah

“Me too.” Said Siwon

People are crowding up wherever they go. But Siwon was prepared for this. There would always be guards surrounding him and Hannah.

“So…I did some research and….I think there are a lot of things we can do here.” Said Siwon

“I researched too. I always wanted to come here right?” said Hannah.

 “So, Which one do you want first?”

“Hmm… let’s get a bike…the two sitter bike.” Said Hannah

“Oh…that one…you like that?” asked Siwon

“Yes.” Said Hannah

Siwon rented a bicycle. He took the front bike and Hannah took the back seat. They roamed around the entire island experiencing the view.

“When did you learn how to ride a bike?” asked Siwon

“Umm….I learned it late….I remember my classmates in elementary all knew how to ride a bike except me…I only learned in a week before I went to Korea. Only because I wanted to ride a bike while strolling in parks here…like the ones in dramas.” Said Hannah

Siwon grinned. That’s kind of cute…Hannah’s fanatic side is cute.

“I have never strolled with a woman in a bike before.” Said Siwon

“Huh? Never?” asked Hannah

“Well…I used to date in highschool…but I haven’t done biking with any of them…and then I focused on my training and had less time…then I got debuted…dating became a burden then.” Said Siwon

Hannah nodded.

“How about you?” asked Siwon

“Me? Hmmm…” Hannah took time to think “I have definitely not biked with guy except you…and also not this close.” Said Hannah

Siwon smiled.

“Have you…dated anyone before?” asked Siwon

So, that’s why he’s asking…he’s curious.

Hannah giggled.  “I…have not had…a boyfriend…if that’s what you’re asking.” Said Hannah

Siwon looked back almost making the bike hit a tree.

“Be careful!” shouted Hannah

Siwon put the bike on break just in time to prevent a minor accident.

“Are you Ok?” asked Hannah

“You said…you never had a boyfriend?” asked Siwon

“Umm…yes… You’re not hurt or anything are you?” asked Hannah

That means I’m her first boyfriend then….and husband of course…

Siwon could not believe it.

“What?” asked Hannah

“Nothing…I just…think I will enjoy this day tremendously.” Said Siwon

Hannah looked away.

“Umm…my legs are starting to hurt. What do we do next?” asked Hannah

Still cycling…this time, Hannah and Siwon tried the hanging bicycle.

“Fear of heights?” asked Siwon

The truth is Hannah is not comfortable with heights.

“I’ll try it.” Said Hannah

But it’s going to be with Siwon…and she feels she can do anything with him…she feels secured like he will protect her…just as he’s ready to sacrifice his career for her…

“Are you sure?” asked Siwon

Hannah took Siwon’s hand. “Yes.” Nodded Hannah.

“All right.” Said Siwon closing his hand on Hannah’s.

They cycled together slowly spending time talking about different stuff like their families and their friends.

Nami Island became popular for the drama Winter Sonata. Siwon and Hannah visited the sites of the drama. They went to the first kiss site and also bought some souvenirs. They walked hand in hand the entire time until their legs would no longer allow them to walk. They took the boat to leave, wave at their fans and then went to a place to have dinner.

As they were eating dessert, A mission card was given to Siwon.

“Mission card? Now?” Siwon opened the card.

Hannah took a gulp of her water.

Siwon read the letter.

“The 5 months of marriage is now….”

Siwon can’t believe what he’s reading.

“Officially ending…”

Siwon looked at Hannah shocked.

Hannah is looking at him…with that worried face.

“You…do you know about this?” asked Siwon

Hannah took the card from Siwon’s hand.

“I…will be taking on a drama role…So…I had to give WGM up.” Said Hannah

“What?!” Siwon stood up from his seat.

Hannah braced herself.

“You…are going to be in a drama so you let WGM go?” asked Siwon

Hannah nodded.

“Why? Is it so easy to let this go?” asked Siwon

Hannah closed her eyes to prevent the tears from falling.

“Do you know…how much I held on to this?” asked Siwon, Hannah can see the anger in his eyes…He is about to explode.

His image will be tarnished if he explodes here....the cameras are still on...

“This will open us both to good opportunities.” Said Hannah.

“Good Opportunities.” Said Siwon

“Better than…what we have right now?” asked Siwon

Hannah took a deep breath. “I…will definitely miss you, Oppa.” Said Hannah

Siwon’s chest is heaving. Everything feels like piercing and heavy. So heavy that he thinks it’s going to blow.

Siwon grabbed Hannah’s arm and then pulled her with him out of the restaurant. The WGM staff and camera men followed them. Siwon ran still pulling Hannah with him until they reached an elevator.  He pressed a random floor and he pulled Hannah to get off with him. And then they went inside a fire exit.

Siwon’s heart is still beating really fast from running…and from the mixed feelings he has inside it.
