SunMi is the typical new girl in a new country. She's the center of attention, but not good attention. Being harassed by the girls, and stalked by the boys, she doesn't know who to turn to. That is, until the biggest jerk in school, possibly in Seoul, shows her a soft side, and eventually takes her heart. But their joy is short lived. Coming in between gangs, families, and against great odds, their love cannot prosper. Some people are meant to fall in love, but not be together. 

SunMi/Cris: The typical new girl. She was born and raised in San Francisco, California, so Seoul is new to her. She is headstrong on the inside, but soft and fragile on the outside. You can't help but want to protect her. 

Zico: Seoul's biggest delinquent. Although he plays tough and cool, he's soft and will do anything to protect his love, and keep her happy. And anything means anything. 

HyeBin/Rina: SunMi's first friend in the new school. She is always kind and lively, but acts like an umma, always worrying about SunMi and warning her not to trust her new crush. She always means well. 

James: SunMi's other close friend. Although he acts cold to most people, it's because he is insecure and doesn't want to get hurt much. He thinks SunMi should be his, but would support her through whatever.
