Kris was not a morning person. His brothers could all attest to this, all of them having first hand experience of the repercussions of waking Kris up. Sure it was fine to wake him up any other time of the day, but for some reason walking him up in the morning was more like a death wish than anything else.  

So it was no surprise that the three maknaes were now trying to shove each other to the dragon lord’s general bedroom direction to check up on him.

“You should go first Tao” Jongin said as he was trying to push the taller boy to the forefront

“What?! Why me?” Tao retorted as he pressed his feet firmly on the marble floor to counter Jongin’s pushes

“Coz you know wushu and in case Kris-hyung gets hostile you can just you know wushu him and stuff” Jongin replied still trying to push Tao to go inside their leader's room

“No Thank You Very much! I’d much rather not, my wushu is completely null to a newly awakened duizhang in the morning, plus if he gets irritated he will take it out on my Gucci supply and I’d rather not have that happen!” Tao said as he took a sudden side step, which caused Jongin to land his pushing hands towards Sehun.

But instead of backing away Jongin continued to push as he said

“Oh yeah! Sehunnie you’re the maknae, so you should do it!”

“What?! NO!” Sehun paled as he remembered the horrifying look on Kris’ face that one time he woke him up, though he was physically unhurt, the memory of the duizhang’s sleep deprived menacing stare was enough to scar him for the rest of his entire immortal life.

“How bout you do it! You can teleport! so just wake him up and the teleport out there really fast!” Tao suggested

Jongin shook his head, the last time he did that Kris’ dragon reflexes reached him even before he can begin to teleport. The tan boy shuddered and rubbed his arm, remembering how hard Kris had twisted it.

“But Suho hyung told us to check on him, but aren’t you guys curious to know if Rae Ji noona is ok?” Jongin bargained.

The three maknaes were silent for a bit, it was true that they were very curious but it was also true that they were scared of waking up a sleeping dragon.

“Oh I have an idea!” Tao piped up

“Ok we’re listening” Jongin replied as he leant against the banister.

“How bout we just, you know survey the scene first. Like slowly opening the door and such and just peek and see whether we’re safe or not.” Tao said as he leant slightly forward trying to mimic a soldier on a recon mission.

“So what you’re is saying that we should act like stalking creeps?” Sehun remarked, eye brows raised

“Well do you have any better ideas? Coz if you do be my guest!” Tao retorted raising both hands in the air
