Yifan sat silently on his desk. After the mystifying discovery he had regarding his awakening scroll not to mention the still incomprehensible status of his dreams, he had decided to move into the study/library to further think things thru.  His silence was only broken when Minseok entered the room.

“Yifan, what’s with your constipated expression” he commented taking a seat on one of the lounge chairs.

“I finally looked at my scroll today.” He said straight-faced

“Oh. Did you?” Minseok said an obvious surprise and concern in his expression.

“Yeah. Something does not add up”

“How so?”

“I’ve told you about my dreams right? The ones I’ve been constantly having”

Minseok nodded understanding pretty well what he’s brother was trying to say. Luhan, Joonmyun and Himself we’re the only people who really had a clear idea of how troublings these dreams have been. Yifan tried this best to no worry the younger ones.

“Didn’t you only have them periodically” he added

“Yes but lately they have become more constant and more vivid. I dreamt about father and the last things he said to me. And I dreamt of my awakening”

“What?” Minseok said concerned

Yifan nodded. “For some reason all of these dreams seem to be connected and is leading me to something and I found something strange. Pulling out his scroll he laid it out on the table.

“This” he said pointing to the frayed edge. “Read this last portion.”

Standing up Minseok made his way over to the table and read the last portion to the scroll.

“What the?” he exclaimed

“Exactly, that’s the exact same reaction I had.” Yifan stated

“Why is it incomplete?”

Yifan shook his head. “I don’t know but what’s strange as well is that I can’t seem to remember portions of my awakening as well. I know I have never really talked about it much. And the girl, she seems so much closer, so much more familiar for some reason. And that black jewel.”

“You mean the girl that has been appearing in your dreams?” Minseok said tilting his head

“Yes and I don’t know if has something to do with anything perhaps its just coincidence but the image of the girl had become clearer since the time I’ve encountered Rae Ji.”

Minseok gave him a questioning look

“Also that black jewel, she was wearing a necklace with a black jewel.”Yifan added

“Well, I really don’t know what to say about that just yet Yifan, though it is strange that it seems to be coinciding somewhat but…” 

Minseok was cut off midway by Kyungsoo poking head from the door

“Hyungs sorry to interrupt but we have guests.” Kyungsoo said as he walked in

“Guests? Who?” Yifan asked

Before Kyungsoo  could answer the guest walked in suprising Minseok and Yifan

“Well Hello Hello my dear princes it’s been quite a while!” Heechul said as he sauntered in ostentatiously and flopped himself on one of the lounge chairs.
Yunho followed behind him shaking his head disapprovingly at Heechul

“Forgive him, he seems to forget that not every house is his kingdom”

“Ill go make some tea” Kyungsoo said bowing out

“What brings you’re here Hyungs?” Minseok asked

“Etherealite” Heechul said matter of factly

Yifan raised an eyebrow “I beg your pardon?”

“Oh come one now dear boy, no need to play coy you know what it is?”

“Yes-hyung I am quite aware of what it is, but that thing is no longer exist. It’s gone” Yifan replied

“Aha! not gone but merely hidden” Heechul said fancily

Yifan and Minseok exchanged looks of bafflement

“What Heechul is trying to say is that there is a presence of etherealite. Initially I had the same reaction as both of you. But we were able to really detect it and sense its presence.” Yunho said seriously

“How?” Yifan said
