Admiration
Life Threw Me A Curve Ball“These past three weeks have gone by so slow.” Says Byul. “I just want to be finished with this project.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen you like this before.” Says Hanna. “Do you dislike him that much?”
“No I don’t hate him. He’s actually a nice guy, but I feel he’s trying too hard to be friendly and likeable. I just wish we could focus on school. I don’t know why people try to be friendly. I feel it’s a waste of time sometimes.”
“Well maybe he does like you?”
“That’s exactly what I don’t want. I don’t want him to like me. Which I doubt that he actually does, but I just don’t want to risk anything.”
“If that’s the case then tell him you want to concentrate on school if he ever says anything.” Hanna continues, “But don’t be mean because he’s a nice guy.”
“He is nice and has really nice traits that not too many people have. He has a nice personality. He’s really smart and organized, which I really like. I wish him the best in life.”
“It sounds to me like you admire him.” Says Hanna. “There’s nothing wrong with admiring someone.”
Hanna’s right. I just admire him. Nothing else. I was getting confused for no reason. It’s just an admiration Byul.
Byul was in complete denial.
