Right after eating Ceci’s scrumptious cooking, Helen helped in cleaning the dishes. The  two shared the chores around the house. And though Helen grew up luxuriously, she was taught to do some chores around the house. Though she isn’t as a neat freak like Ceci, she did some effort to help her unnie work around there dorm.

Right after cleaning the dishes, the maknae went straight to the bathroom to take a shower and change into her black mini-dress that she wore under a red coat. She put on her studded flats and grabbed her black purse that contained her phone, keys, wallet and other girly necessities. 

“Going out?” Ceci asked out of curiosity. Helen nodded and smiled.
 

“Just going out to meet a friend…” She replied. “See you later!”

With that, Helen bid the leader goodbye and got inside of of her BMW M3. She got her phone and sent Changmin a message.

After a few minutes, Helen parked her car in front of SMent. She got out and brought her cellphone out, about to text Changmin that she had just arrived, when she spotted him with Yunho coming out from SM Entertainment Building after hours of rehearsal and recording.

Changmin spotted her as soon as he came out of the building he, together with Yunho approached her.

“Hey, Helen! Didn’t expect to see you here.” Yunho greeted her as he placed his hands in his pockets. Helen looked at Changmin for awhile. Yunho shouldn’t be around them if she and Changmin are going to talk about the cruise.

“I actually asked to meet up with her, hyung.” Changmin said, which made Yunho read between the lines. Yunho nodded and mouthed an “Ohhh….” and smiled as he gave the maknae a meaningful pat on the back.

“I’ll leave you two then! Enjoy each other’s company…kekeke…” Yunho teased as he walked away to leave the two alone.

“I’ll say hi to Ceci-unnie for you, Yunho-shii!” Helen backfired, making the leader stop on his tracks upon hearing Ceci’s name and blush in embarrassment. He turned to the two and waved at them before finally walking away to where he parked his own car.

Changmin and Helen decided to go to a coffee shop together. The coffee shop was near SMent building so it was less hassle.  The two put on their masks as they entered and went to the most isolated corner of the coffee shop to avoid conflict with the fans and paparazzi.

Changmin ordered a cup of hot chocolate and a slice of oreo cheesecake while Helen ordered a slice of her favorite mango cheesecake and cup of her Americano espresso.

The two took of their masks to take a sip on their coffee and take a bite out of their cake.

“So, everything clear? Ceci still doesn’t have a clue about anything?” Changmin asked as he set his cup on the table and looked at the Helen who gave him a smirk.

“Nope. How about Yunho-shii? He isn’t suspicious about anything is he?” Helen asked.

“Doesn’t know a thing. His mind is preoccupied with other stuff…” Changmin chuckled before raising his cup up to his lips to take a sip. “You have the ‘props’ right?”

“I have them in here…” Helen responded as she took out two invitations from her purse. She gave one to Changmin and kept the other with her.

“Nice…” Changmin remarked as he smiled at the girl. He couldn’t help but become attracted at how smart Helen was. He hoped that their plan would work out smoothly. “You’re good at this. I have to admit…”

“I have my ways…” Helen said, flashing Changmin a smug smile.

Changmin had to admit. He liked her confidence as well. He couldn’t help but become drawn to her.

Eventually, the whole meet up that should be about their plans to set the two leaders up became different that it should be. The two talked less about the cruise happening the next day and instead the whole conversation became about the two of them.

"So Helen," The male maknae said in between cups of coffee, "How's your ankle? Is it okay?"

"Yeah, I don't usually go out when its necessary." Helen replied, while shooting something on her phone.  Changmin looked over, and saw her posting a picture on Instagram.  He, too was itching to post his food, but was very anxious to whip out his phone too, and take the same picture.  Helen bought out a comb, and before he knew, she was braiding herself with a Dutch braid.  She finished off with a elastic on her hair, and checked her phone.  She smirked when she didn't see any texts or anything.

"Hey, Helen.  Just wondering, are you guys in for the K&M Year-end Ball?"  He asked, as he finishes his cup.

"K&M? Like, the top company that holds hotels and resorts, right?"  She asked.  "When would it be? I'm leaving on the 26th." 

"At the 24th.  At the Seoul branch."

"God, its less than a week!! I need to find a dress."  She scrambled for her phone, and texted Takahisa.

Omo, Takahisa! SOS, I need a dress within 3 days! Its for the K&M Ball. And why haven't you told me?

She breathed a sigh of relief.  Snow started to fall on the ground.  Most people were enjoying the first fall of snow, during the day.  Helen, was looking at the window.  She looked down, at the table and all of the people drinking coffee.  Most of the newly-entered customers were couples, and they liked each other's company, which Helen let out a small frown, and Changmin, took notice.  

"You alright?" He said.  

"Yeah.  I'm been loveless for the past three years, and it just saddens me that guys would like me because I'm rich even without all the money we earn as an artist."  Helen said, and she felt that those thorns surrounding her slowly melting and making her a better person.  

"Why do you think so? Most guys won't like you because of your massive wealth." He says, with a nod.

"Well, my adoptive family in Britain was in the upper class in society.  My adopted mother, named Monique Hardell-Lee, was a top journalist. Meanwhile, her husband, Edward Lee, is a top Asian photographer, model and actor.  Monique was infertile, and so they adopted Cameron and I. Thanks to them, I enjoyed a luxurious life.  We lived at Belsize Park, at a high rise penthouse.  Both of us attended private schools with Caleb........"

"Caleb? Is he Ceci's boyfriend?" Changmin said, as he eats another cheesecake.

"No, he is not.  Caleb and Ceci only knew each other for the past weeks, and they seem to click. I was just trolling the people on Instagram."  Helen says with a wink, and Changmin got what she was trying to say: the leaders may get a shot of being together.

"So continue..."

-Flashback, 2003

As Bentleys came around the Stanley International School. the students there became excited, as Cameron and Helen Lee arrives, with the hottest DJ, Caleb Arrington.  Cameron and Caleb are both fourteen, and Helen was twelve. At her age, she was very tall, making her intimidating and pretty.  Cameron and Caleb are like twins but has differences:  Cameron is more aloof and silent, while Caleb is optimistic and irresistable.  All of the girls in the school loves the both of them, and because of them, Helen became royalty of some sorts.  She hates people who befriend her because of her wealth and her family's status in London, thus resulting to a Helen that is socially awkward and a girl who picks her friends.

The two boys understood Helen, so they made it a point to be whenever she is, thus increasing her popularity in school.  The unlikely trio loves hip-hop music, and has watched hip-hop on the street and on the professional stage.  For Helen, this genre became her best friend.  It allowed her to express freely what she wants, and it became her refuge at times she felt down. 

Cameron knew his' sister's talent, so when he stumbled down on a hip-hop camp the next summer of the following year, he allowed Helen to see it, and to ask if she wants it.

"Hey, Helen.  Want to join the summer camp at Korea next summer?" He says, with a cheeky grin. Little Helen lit up her eyes at what she saw- an oppurtunity to showcase her talent to the world.  That exact time, Monique came in from her shift. 

"What is it, gumball?"  She said in her sweet voice. Cameron showed her the page of the site. Monique lit up her eyes, and showed it to Edward. He looked at the three of them.

"Let her do it, honey." Monique relaxes her husband's shoulders, a gesture which Edward recognizes.

"Yes...you don't have to do this." Edward says, and pats Helen's head.

"And the rest is history." Helen says, signifying the end.  And the listener, Changmin was so stunned.  He didn't expect Helen to be a girl of such.  Her on-screen persona is happy-go-lucky, spontanous and evil.  The real one was right infront of him: insecure, talented and simple.

"Let's go somewhere else." Changmin said.  

"Where shall we go?"  She asks, while putting on the disguises, then gave Changmin the keys to her car.  They ran to the secret parking lot near SM, where personal cars of celebrities were parked.  She knew that someone might saw them and took them a picture.  But at least, she was with Changmin, the man who can be the one to help her heal her wounds that came from scars from the past.
