I was going to have my eye surgery. I was stressed, I didn't say anything since the morning.
And here, I was on the bed, to go to the operating room in the corridor. When YuKwon's mum held my hand and said:
"My ShinYeong, don't worry. Everything will be fine."

I nodded. I heard YuKwon sighed and said:
"It's not like she'll die ! And What?! "My ShinYeong" ?!You don't even call me "My YuKwon.""

I chuckled a bit.
I heard her mum, hit him on his arm.
Then, the last thing I knew, was that we entered in the operating room.

[YuKwon's P.O.V]
It's been three days now, that ShinYeong had her eye surgery. I've been waiting for her next to her bed. When my mum entered:
"Yah, Kim YuKwon, Aren't you going to school?"

I shook my head. She said:
"Why? If she wakes up, I'll call you. It's been three days, that you didn't go to school."
"It's just not fun when she isn't with me at school."

My dad sighed:
"Our YuKwon is growing up right? Experiencing his first love... But I still don't understand why you wanted to stay in elementary school when you had such amazing grades, see now, instead of going to high school, you're still in middle school..."

When I heard that, I stood up and said:
"Y-Yah, it's not what you think, I just consider ShinYeong as my sister. That's all."

I sat up and cleared my throat.

I stirred a little in my sleep when I heard a voice said:

"I think she'll wake up today, and then, I'll remove her bandage around her eyes."
I felt someone held my hand, I recognized YuKwon's mum's hand.

I softly said:
"I-I'm awake."

The doctor, then said:

«Oh! So let's proceed at what I told you before.» He made me sat up and slowly, he removed the bandage. After he finished to remove the bandage. I kept my eyes closed, because I was afraid to see for the first time.
When I heard YuKwon said:
"YAH, Open your eyes !"
I shook my head. He, then cupped my face and said:
"I'll kiss you on the lips then." I felt his hot breath.

I slowly opened my eyes, and here, I saw YuKwon for the first time,My eyes widened, I was shocked but at the same time, happy.
I whispered:
"YuKwon.?"

He smirked and said:
"What? Am I handsmome?" He held my hand and said softly:
"See? That's me:Kim YuKwon who always held your hand whenever we walk together."

He was right, I recognized this warm hand. My heart was beating rapidly.
When, YuKwon's parents hugged me and said:
"We're so happy our ShinYeong."
YuKwon's mum even cried because of the happiness she felt.

Finally, I had the permission to leave the hospital, when a photo fell on the floor. I bent down to pick it up. When I saw that it was a photo of my parents, It was the first time I saw their faces. Suddenly, tears escaped from my eyes. I whispered:

"Umma, Appa, I can see now. By seeing your faces, you are such wonderful parents, today, it's Appa's birthday right?. I'm so thankful to the Kim's family."
I smiled a bit and put it in my pocket.
I heard YuKwon said:
"Why are you crying now? Always crying, It's irritating me you know. And If you continue to cry a lot, your eyes, will fall, so don't cry."

He wiped my tears away, and I laughed at his "stupid" talk on my eyes. I knew he was joking.
He held my hand and bought me in the hosîtal park. He, then said:
"Your new memories will start from now on."

He a firework candle and gave me one.

He took out his camera and started to take pictures together.
