Chapter twenty two.
My new hope.
I gulped and was about to walk away. When YuKwon grabbed my hand and squeezed it. MinAh sighed and went between us, she said:
"Oppa, I think we need to talk..."
He nodded but before he cupped my face and said:
"It won't be long, wait for me ok?"
I nodded and weakly smiled. MinAh scoffed.
[YuKwon's P.O.V]
MinAh, then brought me away from ShinYeong, she sighed and asked me :
"Do you mind explaining what's going on ?"
I looked at her:
"Sorry...I just-"
"You promised that you will love me forever!" She started to have teary eyes.
Here I started to be annoyed, I didn't know why.
"Yah, Say to your cousin not to hurt anyone again, if not, I'll kick her from MY school."
Her eyes widened and she clentched her fist, I turned around, when she shouted:
"Oppa ! Come back with me! I know you still love me. You don't know what I can do if I'm hurt !"
I rolled my eyes when I looked at ShinYeong, she was looking at the floor, I knew she thought that it was her fault that MinAh was hurt. I sighed, but my eyes widened, I saw the man who was following her, behind a tree, with a gun. The man smirked at me and left.
I quickly held ShinYeong's hand and walked away.
[End of YuKwon's P.O.V]
I was confused, when suddenly I stopped walking. YuKwon looked at me, I hesitantly said:
"It's ok, If you go back to Min-"
He put his finger on my lips and smiled, he bent down to my level and said softly:
"As I said before, I'm sure that I love you, and I will always love you."
He patted my head, somehow I felt reassured after what he said.
We, then decided to eat outside, with JiHoon, JiEun and the others...Seriously it was awesone to be together like before.
It was really late, so everyone decided to go back home.
While we were walking, a man stopped in front of us, and immediatly YuKwon went in front of me and hid me behind him... I heard the man scoffed and said:
"Woow..Calm down little kid !"
YuKwon didn't say anything.
The man continued:
"Just give me the girl and I'll leave you alone."
YuKwon answered coldly:
"Never."
"You see, little kid, she just has to give all the money her parents gave her before dying! Now, don't play around if you don't want to get hurt!"
I whispered:
"YuKwon, I'll give them what they want..."
He looked at me and whispered back:
"Don't. Just stay behind me."I didn't move.
A long silent filled the atmosphere...
When suddenly the man held a knife in his hands and shouted:
"NOW! I DON'T WANT TO PLAY ANYMORE!"
Infact, JiEun was still with us, YuKwon, then pushed me aside and said to JiEun:
"JiEun, bring ShinYeong at home !"
Her eyes widened and didn't know what to do, YuKwon shouted:
"NOW!"
I said:
"YuKwon, I want to stay with you."
"Don't worry, ShinYeong, I'll keep our promise. I'll come home after."
I whispered:
"Be careful..."
I whispered:
"Be careful..."
After that, JiEun brought me at home...
It was really late, I decided to wait for YuKwon in the garden, It was already 2 am. I was really worried...When I heard someone entered the garden, I quickly ran near the person and it was YuKwon, his face was filled with bruises and his back was bleeding, the man had probably hurt YuKwon with the knife, I quickly helped him and brought him inside the house.
I made him sit, when I tried to treat his injuries, I suddenly started to cry, YuKwon cupped my face and asked me:
"Hey...Why are you crying?"
I pointed at him. He chuckled softly and said:
"I'm here...Don't worry." He hugged me.
He whispered:
"After all, I'm your hero, Heros are known for their strengh : they won't die that easily. So I, Kim YuKwon, won't leave you, that easily." He kissed me.
[L.Joe's P.O.V]
I was helping my mum with the restaurant, when it was the time to close the restaurant, someone entered the restaurant, I looked up and said:
"Sorry sir, it's time to close the restaurant."
My mum, went near me and gasped. I frowned and looked at her.
"Umma, are you alright?"
She had teary eyes, I quickly put an arm on her shoulders.
The man started to talk:
"So..here the little ByungHun... How are you my dear little sister?"
I looked at him and was confused. Infact, he was scary, he had a knife with blood in his right hand.
I went in front of my mum and asked:
"Can you go out please? And by the way who are you? How do you know my name?"
The man smirked and answered:
"I'm your uncle, Lee ByungHun."
