Chapter twenty-four.
My new hope.
After finishing the grocery shopping, I felt something strange, I was still feeling that someone was following me. I started to walk as fast as I can : I was in a huge crowd. I decided to turn around when my eyes widened, I saw a man who was holding a knife, he was about to stab me...I closed my eyes...When a hand gabbed my arm and brought me near the person who grabbed my arm. I bumped into his chest, seriously I was stilll afraid,I couldn't move. The person put his hand on my head and brushed my hair softly:
"Don't worry, I'm here."
I recognized the voice: It was...L.Joe. I started to cry.
[L.Joe's P.O.V]
I was following ShinYeong, because somehow, I was afraid that something horrible will happen to her. But, then I noticed a strange man who was following her. I recognized "my uncle." ShinYeong went to a crowd, and then, the thing I didn't want to happen was here in front of my eyes: that crazy man was about to stab her. My eyes widened , I quickly ran to her and grabbed her arm. I turned my back to the man and hugged her.
Honestly, she was really afraid, she didn't dare to move. I softly brushed her hair and said:
"Don't worry, I'm here."
Here, she burst out of crying.

MEANWHILE.
"Sir, why do you want to see me?"
Without looking at the person who was talking to him, the strange man who was «L.Joe's uncle» said:
"Kill that girl:Kim ShinYeong. I already knew that ByungHun couldn't kill her. Kill that boy who is her boyfriend as well, it will be hard to kill ShinYeong if he's always by her side."
The man who was behind L.Joe's uncle answered:
"I understand.."
ByungHun's uncle turned around and continued:
"If ByungHun wants to protect them, just kill him as well."
The man's eyes widened:
"But..Sir, he's your own nephew-"
"Just do it! "
L.Joe held my hand and brought me back home. I was still shoked about what happened. I didn't say anything to him, when we arrived he sighed and said:
"We're here."I looked at him and he smiled softly at me; he patted my head. We, then heard someone screaming:
"SHIN YEONG !" The only thing I knew was that, someone was hugging me tightly. I recognized these arms: It was YuKwon.
"YuKwon..."
He broke the hug and looked at me:
"Are you okay? Are you hurt somewhere? Where have you been? Do you know how much I was worried? Don't you-" He was sweating and he looked worried. He didn't stop asking questions when I hugged him and started to sob. He hugged me back.
We, then went inside the house.
[YuKwon's P.O.V]
It was night and L.Joe was still at home, and ShinYeong was sleeping in the bedroom. I decided to say:
"Thanks...for calling me, this afternoon."
"No problem, be careful."
I looked at L.Joe and said:
"Thanks for protecting her." I patted his right shoulders.
After L.Joe left, I went upstairs and sat next to ShinYeong, she was still sleeping, I stared at her and kissed her forehead.
[End of YuKwon's P.O.V]
I stirred in my sleep and slowly opened my eyes, YuKwon was kissing my forehead, he sighed and when he was about to leave, I held his arm and said softly:
"YuKwon-Ah...Can't you stay with me? I'm kind of afraid..."
He smiled and laid down beside me. He put his arm around my waist and his head on my head. I rested my head on his chest: I could hear his heart beat...Seriously, I felt secured with him... I just hoped that, we'll grow old together...
The next morning, YuKwon and I decided to eat breakfrast outside. He was holding my right hand.
When suddenly, a loud noise appeared in the road: we looked at that direction and it was two cars which have made an accident. Suddenly, a lot of man in black went outside of these two cars and started to shoot with guns everywhere. Here, a painful memory went back in my head: the day where my mum died... I crouched down and put my hands on my ears, I couldn't move, I didn't know what to do. YuKwon then, carried me bridal style and started to ran away. He, then groaned in pain and fell: I touched his arm, he was bleeding, someone shot him. He, then held my hand and continued to run. We then, hide behind a bush, I started to say:
"YuKwon, are you alright? We have to run away, We need to go to the hospital , You're-" He cupped my face and said:
"Don't worry, wait for me, here. Don't go anywhere. I'll be back." He kissed my forehead and ran away, I didn't know why, but I had a feeling that they wanted YuKwon, to be injured...They kept shooting at him.
[L.Joe's P.O.V]
I was at home and my phone rang:
"Yeobosaeyo?"
"Come to HongDae or Say goodbye to your friends, ByungHun."
My eyes widened and without saying anything, I left the house.
When I arrived, I noticed ShinYeong behind a bush and YuKwon who was trying to bring all these men far away from ShinYeong by running.
I went to ShinYeong and said:
"Are you alright?"
She was shoked. She said:
"I-I-I need to go help YuKwon. I don't want him to get hurt."
She, then suddenly stood up and started to run near YuKwon.
[End of L.Joe's P.O.V]
I was running near YuKwon, when I saw two other men behind him: a man standing, who was observing what was happening and the other who was holding a gun.
My eyes widened, I wanted to warn YuKwon about that:
"YuKwon!" he looked at me, his eyes widened:
"ShinYeong, Stay Behind!"
MEANWHILE
"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk How pitiful....Shoot right now!" L.Joe's uncle shouted.
"Yes, sir."
"But YuKwon! Watch out!"I, was about to touch him when, the other men shot near me. L.Joe carried me and brought me far from this dangerous place.
He said:
"STAY HERE!"
He, then joined YuKwon, I looked at him running near YuKwon, when an horrible thing happened...
[YuKwon's P.O.V]
I looked at L.Joe who was running near me, when two noises appeared, I had a hard moment to breath, I fell on my knees and looked at ShinYeong, she had her hand cupped on , I fell on the floor, I touched my chest and felt something wet...Someone shot me in the chest: not once, but twice.
I, then heard the police arriving, these men were trying to escape and ShinYeong was screaming:
"YUKWON!!" She went next to me with L.Joe, she looked at me in tears when a tear fell down from my left eye. L.Joe had his eyes widened. I chuckled bitterly and said:
"It's painful..."
ShinYeong said:
"Don't say anything! You can't leave me, You've made a promise. YuKwon please." I touched her face with my right hand and said:
"Even if you can't see me...R-Remember that...that I'll always be by your side..., I-I'll be your... angel..."
"N-No..YuKwon, I need you to be by my side...Please..Don't leave me..."
I smiled a little and looked at L.Joe, he had tears in his eyes as well:
"D-Dude...W-W-Why are you c-crying...I-It's not like...I'm going to d-die...I h-have a request..."
He looked at me, seriously it was difficult for me to talk, I had difficulties to breath.
"P-Please...T-Take care of ShinYeong..." I put my hand on his hand and said:
"I-I'll leave y-you the school … "
I was coughing and there was blood, I gulped and looked at ShinYeong, one last time...:
"S-ShinYeong, I-I love you.."
Here, my eyes closed forever...
[End of YuKwon's P.O.V]
My eyes widened and cried even harder:
"YuKwon ! Wake up now!"
He didn't move at all:
"OPPA! I called you Oppa! Now wake up! Please...Y-You can't leave me!"
L.Joe then hugged me. I couldn't stop crying...I realized that YuKwon, left me and all the people he liked behind and left for heaven...
[FlashBack]
YuKwon put his head on my lap and held my hand:
"ShinYeong-Ah...Do you think that one day...We'll get married?"
I tapped my right index under my chin and said:
"Hum...Let me think... Maybe?"
He was surprised and sat next to me:
"What?! What do you mean?! Don't you love me?"
I chuckled and said:
"Of course, YuKwon. We'll get married...But not now."
He smirked and said:
"We'll have kids right?"
He didn't let me answer and said:
"Yes right, one boy and one girl...Then, our kids will grow up and we'll grow old...together."
I laughed at his silliness.
