Chapter twenty-nine.
My new hope.
I opened my eyes, and saw a blue sky, I was laying down on the green grass. I stood up slowly and looked around me, there was butterflies around me. There was the sun, and the atmosphere was peaceful It was like this place was heaven, when I looked at my clothes. I was wearing a white dress. I wondered why I had this piece of clothes on. I started to walk around when something caught my eyes : there was someone under a tree...I walked closer to the person, I recognized this person, It was YuKwon. My eyes got teary, I whispered:
“Yu-YuKwon Oppa…”
He turned around and smiled, he touched softly my cheeks and wiped my tears away while saying:
“Such a cry baby…”
I confessed:
“I missed you.”
“Me too.” He held my hand and squeezed it.
When I was about to ask him what was this place, a bright light appeared of nowhere, it seemed like it was a door with a light. We, then heard:
“ShinYeong… please wake up. It’s been one month now.”I looked at the “door” and recognized L.Joe’s voice. I looked at YuKwon, he kept on smiling and said:
“Go now. It’s not the time for you to stay here...I mean , not now.”
I grabbed his arm:
“But YuKwon ! I want to stay here with you!”
He sighed and said softly while brushing my hair with his right hand:
“ShinYeong, listen to me, just for once, do you want to hurt people who are still around you? JiEun,Zelo,JiHoon,Jong Up need you as their best friend, my parents need you because I left them, their own son. Please keep an eye on them for me. It’s my last request… But also...L.Joe needs you as his first love. I’m sure he won’t hurt you. Don’t be like that for me. Move on… You’re Kim ShinYeong, you’re a strong girl. Now go… You’ll be forever in my heart. We’ll meet each other in the next life, I promise. . . And in this future life, I won’t leave and we’ll grow old together...”
I saw a tear escaped from his eyes, he walked closer to me and kissed my forehead, I immediatly closed my eyes and tears rolled on my cheeks…
YuKwon then whispered:
“Goodbye.”
[L.Joe’s P.O.V]
It’s been one month since ShinYeong protected me from my “uncle”... She didn’t woke up at all. As usual, after practicing, I went to the hospital and spent the whole night next to the person I loved: ShinYeong.
I walked closer of her bed and sat on the chair next to it. I took her hand and placed it on my right cheek, I said:
“ShinYeong… please wake up. It’s been one month now…”
I sighed and continued:
“Why are you like this? Why are you so stubborn? Why don’t you listen to me?”
I gulped:
“I think even if how hard I try to be closer to you, I’ll always fail right? Back then, I thought that we were closer, that a feeling for me appeared in your heart, but I was wrong. It was just illusions...And I wanted to reach your heart with all my strength, but I won’t reach you at all even if you are next to me…”
I stood up to leave when my eyes widened, I heard a voice calling me:
“Op-Oppa…”
A hand touched softly my right hand, I turned around and saw ShinYeong with her eyes opened, I was shocked and immediatly called the doctor.
The doctor then, said happily:
“That’s a miracle!”
After that, I hugged her and whispered:
“Thank you for listening to me. Thank you.”

L.Joe hugged me and repeated:
“Thank you”
When I felt, my left shoulder getting wet, I noticed that he was crying. He backed away when I touched his cheeks and wiped his tears away. He was quite surprised but I continued.
It’s been one week since I “woke up” , it was the night and L.Joe asked me:
“Are you hungry?” I nodded. He answered:
“Ok, Wait here. I’ll get some food.” He patted my head.
When I decided to go outside to take some fresh air, it’s been already 30 minutes since L.Joe left to buy some food. I was enjoying the breeze, when I thought about what YuKwon told me in my “dream”. I was quite confused about my feelings when a hand held my hand: it was L.Joe.
He said with a afraid voice:
“ Let’s go back to your room, why are you here? Do you know how much I was worrying when I didn’t find you when I came back?”
I ignored his questions and faced him:
“ByungHun Oppa.You don’t have to love me.”
He was confused and asked:
“What?” I repeated:
“You don’t have to love me because I look pitiful.You’re making me confused.”
It seemed like he didn’t understand whet I meant, so I decided to walk away quickly but he ran after me and said:
“What do you mean? Why are you confused?”
I coudn’t help to say:
“Because I’m afraid to love you back.”I turned around with teary eyes and said:
“I’m confused because I’m afraid to love you.”
He stayed silent, when I looked down.
I walked slowly away, when I heard footsteps behind me. . . L.Joe spun me around and hugged me tightly. He then, said:
“Don’t worry, You can love me.”
I looked up and said:
“Please don’t leave me, like YuKwon did…”
He kissed my forehead and whispered:
“Don’t worry, I’ll always be next to you.”
