Chapter sixteen.
My new hope.
A new day has come, I was walking in the street under the blooming trees. I was staying in JiEun's house with JongSeok and WooBin since we didn't have a place to stay.
When I arrived in the corridor, something caught my eyes: It was JongSeok and WooBin's usual bickering.
JongSeok was really sociable, that's why he already had a lot of friends while WooBin is cold, and liked to be alone:
"WooBin! Why don't you have friends?! People here, are really kind." JongSeok said.
WooBin gave him a glare and answered:
"Why aren't you using the Busan dialect, by the way?"
JongSeok bursted out of laughing and said:
"Well, we're in Seoul, so get used to the Seoul accent man!"
His brother, rolled his eyes and said coldly:
"But I'm still from Busan, I won't change for them. Now, leave me alone."
With that, he walked away. I shook my head and chuckled.
When I was walking in the corridor, I saw Jong Up and JiHoon in front of a room: it was the meeting room for important event, like gradution but today was to promote the school...Infact, we were all teachers for our high school. Was it a coincidence?
I decided to go see them, and they were literally panicking, JiHoon was trying to call someone while Jong Up was running everywhere and said:
"Yah, Yah It's time, It's time !"
JiHoon answered, probably annoyed:
"Yes..wait, I'm also stressed you know!"
JiEun went outside of the room and asked them:
"Hurry Up! YuKwon isn't here ?!"
JongUp shouted:
"Yes !! And he doesn't answer to his phone!!"
"Is he looking for death or what?! Until the end, he's the same, he can't arrive without being late! And today, is an important day!Did he forget he's the school owner?!" JiEun shouted too.
"Is he dumb!? What is he doing?!"
They said to JiHoon:
"Call him back, the meeting will begin soon!"
Zelo popped his head out of the room and said:
"Hurry up! People are waiting!!!"
JiEun and JongUp decided to join Zelo while JiHoon was still trying to call YuKwon.
JiHoon said:
"Aish...Kim YuKwon, where are you?!"
MEANWHILE.
[YuKwon's P.O.V]
I was sleepy, I decided to wake up, I stared at the ceiling, when I remembered something: I had an important meeting right now. I immediatly sat up and looked at the clock: It was already 11 am. I quickly prepared myself and headed of to the school.
While I was running in the street. I was wearing a suit, infact my car broke down lately, so I decided to walk because the school wasn't really far.
I stopped when I heard a kid screaming:
"LET ME GO !!"
I looked at the child and a man was trying to bring her somewhere, in a dark alley. It seems that the little girl was blind, because when she had a white cane to help her walk alone. I then, walked closer to them and asked:
"What are you doing, to this little girl?"
The girl said:
"Please help me!"
The man answered:
"Who are you? It's none of you business! And you stay still!" he slapped the girl. My eyes widened , I punched the man and I quickly ran to the girl, and carried her on my back.
While I was running, she asked me:
"Ajusshi, I need to pee...Hurry up.."
"What?! Why didn't you pee before going outside?! Wait a minute. Moreover, I'm not an Ajusshi. Call me Oppa; I'm not that old."
But the man from before, stopped in front of us, with other men:
"You'll pay for what you did!" the man said, he grabbed me by the collar. I said:
"Please stop...m-my beautiful suit."
He punched me in the face, and my lips started to bleed, I asked him:
"Did you just punched me?!"
"Yes...why do you want to help a blind person?! They are useless."
After what he said, I couldn't hold my anger anymore, I sighed and said:
"Apologize to what you said...now."
I kicked him in the stomach and he flew away, I punched all the men around him, and finally, all of them were lying on the ground, groaning in pain.
B-Bomb, finally arrived with his car and I asked him to take care of the little girl, she told me that she didn't have a family.
Before I could enter to the school, B-Bomb asked me:
"Man, seriously, why do you take care of blind people like that? You even said, that our high school was able to take care of blind people...Tell me, do you love Shin-"
I looked away and cut him:
"Just because."

Finally, the meeting ended even if YuKwon was late. It was the end of the day in front of the gate, L.Joe was waiting for me: of course, he had sunglasses and a hoodie.
He asked me:
"Are you alright?" He patted my head and brushed my bangs.
I smiled and nodded, he asked me after:
"I hope you don't have hard times in this school. If you feel bad, call me whenever you want."
He kissed my forehead.
[YuKwon's P.O.V]
I went outside after the meeting, seriously I was exhausted. When something caught my eyes. L.Joe kissed ShinYeong's forehead. The weird feeling in my heart came back.
I mumbled:
"What the hell?! Kissing each other in front of a school gate?! I'm gonna scold them. It's not a good example for the students." I was ready to go to talk to them when a hand grabbed my arm: It was JiEun, she said:
"They are a nice couple right?"
"What? They are dating each other?"
She smiled :
"I'm not sure about that."
"Then, it's not a couple, now leave me alone JiEun."
She sighed and looked serious:
"Seriously...if you aren't going to do something, they will become a real couple YuKwon.Don't regret it."
After that, I left her alone and went back home.

When I was walking in the street to go back to JiEun's house. When it started to rain heavily; I decided to stay under a tree, when someone called me.
"Yeobosayo?"
"ShinYeong?"
A smile immediatly crept on my face:
"Oh! Imo! It's been a long time! How have you been with Ajusshi?!"
YuKwon's mum chuckled and said:
"Yes..we're fine. By the way, we left a gift for you. Go to YuKwon's house. We gave you his adress right?"
I blinked several times before answering:
"Ah...yes. Thank you."
After the call, I ran to YuKwon's house, his parents gave me the keys so, I opened the door to find him sitting on a chair in the kitchen, I said awkwardly:
"Umm...I just came to take the gift your parents left here."
Without looking at me, he handed me the gift, I said:
"Thank you."
It was still raining outside, moreover it was windy. I hesitated to ask him:
"Can I stay here, for a moment please? It's raining outside."
He looked up and stared at me, he grabbed my wrist harshly and asked me coldly:
"Why did you comeback.?"
I looked at him and I said:
"The school called me to be an english teacher...and l- let go, it hurts..."
He hit the table with his fist:
"WHY DID YOU COMEBACK IN MY LIFE?!"
My eyes widened, my eyes started to be watery and I managed to say with a trembling:
"I think- I-I'll go n-now. If you don't want me in your life, then I'll quit the school, I won't bother you anymore, after what I did to you... You still hate me right? After all, you're the school owner, why don't you fire me right now?"
I turned away to leave, I opened the door, I didn't heard any answers from him, when a hand held my arm, and spun me around , YuKwon was in front of me, he said while staring at me:
"It's still raining outside, I didn't say anything when you asked me if you could stay in my house."
He walked away and went upstairs, he shouted:
"CLOSE THE DOOR, IT'S COLD!!!"
When I closed the door, he threw a towel at me.
[YuKwon's P.O.V]
When I saw her watery eyes, I immediatly panicked. I didn't know why. But I remained calm.
I, then went upstairs, I leaned against the door, I face palmed myself and said:
"You must be crazy Kim YuKwon."
