Chapter twenty-five.
My new hope.
Today was the funeral day of YuKwon. Everyone was literally upset and sad. While me, I was completely lost, It was like my own life was taken.. I didn't want to live anymore. I didn't talk to anyone.
When someone patted my back: It was L.Joe. I smiled weakly and walked away. I looked at YuKwon's picture and whispered:
"Why Can't it be me who left this world...I miss you...YuKwon Oppa."
It was the night, and it was a rainy days. I decided to stay next to YuKwon's grave. Everyone has left, while I was staring at his grave. A tear fell from my right eye. I touched softly the grave, I was really wet.
The thing, I didn't know was that someone was observing me since the beginning, the person was waiting for me:It was L.Joe, he was feeling guilty as well.
I, suddenly didn't felt rain drops falling on me anymore, I looked up and saw an umbrella. L.Joe then spoke first:
"Come On, you'll be sick, if you stay here."
I shook my head:
"No..I'm fine." I tried to stand up but my legs were so weak, I was about to fall when L.Joe caught me and I bumped in his chest.
He sighed:
"I think, YuKwon doesn't want to see you like that...let's go."
He held my hand and brought me in the house of YuKwon's parents. When I entered the house, Mr.Kim and Mrs.Kim, stared at me, I kept looking at the floor. L.Joe didn't want to come inside.
I sighed and whispered:
"I-I'm S-Sorry...It's my fault that Yu-"
Before I could finish my sentence, Mrs. Kim hugged me and said softly:
"No..It's not your fault, sweetie..." She brushed my hair and gave me a tiny smile. Mr.Kim added:
"Call us, Umma and Appa from now on."I weakly nodded and went upstairs. Seriously, I was exhausted...
I fell asleep immediatly when I laid myself on the bed.
I stirred on my sleep when I felt someone touching my forehead, I weakly opened my eyes and recognized a face, a face I wanted to see so badly, tears started to appeared in my eyes and my sight remained blurry... I whispered:
"Yu-YuKwon Oppa...Why are you here...?" I tried to touch his face but it was impossible, he kept smiling.
"I miss you Oppa...Why did you leave me? Why?" He stared at me, when he came closer to me and kissed my forehead, after that he whispered:
"I love you...but please...don't wait for me. Move on ShinYeong-Ah..."
After that, he disappeared...
Finally, I was able to open my eyes, I tried to sit on my bed with my hand on my chest, I touched my right cheek and I felt that my cheek was wet: I was crying. I looked around me and noticed that …
It was just a dream...But why YuKwon's picture was on my bed ? Maybe, YuKwon's soul came to visit me right?
The next morning, L.Joe called me.
"Yeobosaeyo, ByungHun Oppa?"
"Yes...Come outside, we are going to see someone."
I was confused, then I agreed.
We arrived in front of the police station, I looked at him when he went outside and held my hand to go inside of this place.
We went in front of MinAh. The policeman explained:
"We found her near that horrible event the other day..."
He left us alone, when I asked ByungHun coldly:
"Why we came here?"
He looked at me and didn't say anything...I clentched my fist when MinAh said:
"Don't blame me. YuKwon died because of you, ShinYeong."
I couldn't say anything after that, I walked in the corridor when L.Joe came in front of me. I looked at him and wiped my tears away. He looked for something in his pocket and said:
"Here...YuKwon wanted me to give you these rings."
I took it and left the police station, I left L.Joe there alone...
[FlashBack]
YuKwon went to see L.Joe and handed him something, L.Joe looked at him and was confused:
"What?" He took the thing in YuKwon's hand and looked at it, he continued:
"Why are you giving me these rings?"
YuKwon looked at these rings and said:
"Give these couple rings to ShinYeong when I won't be in this world anymore..."
"What?! What are you talking about, Kim YuKwon.?"
YuKwon smiled and said:
"Just, Take it."
[End of the FlashBack]
After leaving the police station, my mind was completely blanck, without knowing where to go, I found myself on a rooftop of a high building. I walked closer to the edge. I looked down, it was windy, I looked at the rings and thought for a while...
"If I leave this world right now, can I be with YuKwon again?"
I closed my eyes and started to walk straight when someone grabbed my arm and brought me in his arm, he shouted:
"YAH ! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
"LEAVE ME ! L.JOE, I WANT TO JOIN YUKWON!"
He hugged me and said:
"NO! DON'T BE STUPID; SHINYEONG!"
I started to hit him on his chest, when he said:
"PLEASE! DON'T BE LIKE THAT ! I DON'T WANT MY FIRST LOVE TO LEAVE ME!"
I started to calm down, he continued:
"DON'T LEAVE ME, I'LL ALWAYS BE BY YOUR SIDE, I PROMISE.!»
