Chapter twenty-six.
My new hope.
It's been 6 months since YuKwon left me but also It's been 6 months that the incident on the rooftop happened.
I was in the kitchen, I was staring blankly outside, I had the window opened and the wind came softly on my face. Seriously, these past few months, ByungHun didn't come to visit me and I was always thinking about his confession... But I wasn't ready for a new love relationship, I was still loving YuKwon, I couldn't forget him.
I was always eating unhealthy food: only ramen... and I didn't talk to anyone. When suddenly, I smelled something burning, I noticed that it was the food, I panicked and touched the pan: I burned myself, I winced in pain...
I decided to go outside to check my letter box when I found something which always appeared in my letter box: a bottle of milk with a post it on it. It was written: "Please eat healthier, Little Miss.^_^ And smile more often ! ♥"
I wondered who it was. I looked around me when an old woman stopped in front of me and said:
"Oh..I see that you have the bottle of milk today as well, You're such a lucky person ! At least, someone takes care of you...Not like me. I have nobody."
I bowed and asked:
"But...Do you know who is the person who always put a bottle of milk.?"
She smiled a bit, when it started to rain a little, an umbrella covered me, I looked up and saw L.Joe, he said:
"Annyeong...It's been a while.» The old woman smiled playfully and answered to my previous question:
"It must be a handsome boy." she, then looked at L.Joe and winked at him. I looked at him, I was confused, he just avoid the eyes of the old woman. He suddenly said:
"Here, take this umbrella Ajjuhma." He, then ran inside the house, I bowed and left.
Inside the house, I found L.Joe looking in the kitchen cupboard, he asked:
"Did you always eat Ramyeon these past months?"
I didn't answered him and sat on the couch. He sighed:
"Seriously, I don't think YuKwon wanted to see you like this.."
I lay down on the couch and sighed. I heard him coming closer and sat down in front of my face:
"Now, eat healthy food, Understand?"
I looked at him and put a pillow in front of his face. I stood up and looked at YuKwon's picture near the sofa.
After he finished, cooking some "healthy food" , he put the plates on the table. I kept at staring at it, seriously I wasn't hungry at all.
«Yah. I cooked for you, here.» He held some vegetables with his chopsticks and put it in front of my mouth. I hesitantly opened my mouth and eat it.
He looked at me and smiled like a fool. I thought: "Why are you so nice to me ByungHun.?"
The next morning, I prepared myself, when someone rang the bell. I opened the door to find L.Joe. He held my hand and made me stand outside. He started to walk away, while I stood on the same spot. He turned around, he sighed and held my hand:
"Come, we're going somewhere."
We entered in the car, I asked him:
"Where are we going?"
"To see YuKwon."
I looked at him, surprised but didn't say anything.
We,finally arrived in the country side where there were a lot of mountains. He held my hand and led me in front of a huge hot hair balloon. We, then went inside it. It started to go up. I started to be afraid when L.Joe put his right hand on mine. He gave me a soft smile. When we were really high, he said:
"Now, talk to him."
I looked at him.
"To YuKwon, he's here." he pointed at the sky. It was gloomy...
I gulped and looked at the sky, I whispered:
"YuKwon-Ah..."
"He can't here you! Scream like that, I'll talk first then. YAH! YUKWON -AH ! HOW HAVE YOU BEEN IN HEAVEN!?"
I smiled a bit, I gulped and started to shout:
"YUKWON OPPA! I MISS YOU!" I started to have teary eyes, I continued:
"I LOVE YOU ! HOW COUD YOU LEAVE ME HERE?! DO YOU KNOW THAT I NEED YOU?! WE PROMISED TO GROW OLD TOGETHER! YOU BROKE THAT PROMISE SO...you have to comeback..." I whispered these last four words.
L.Joe saw my tears and shouted:
"YUKWON! AREN'T YOU ASHAMED TO MAKE YOUR GIRLFRIEND CRY?! IF YOU CONTINUE, I'LL STEAL HER AND MAKE HER FALL IN LOVE WITH ME."
My eyes widened, I was about to say something when the sun immediatly appeared after that, I looked at the sky.
"YuKwon-Ah...I miss you..." I whispered.
After that, this trip "to meet YuKwon" finished.
[L.Joe's P.O.V]
When we were walking in the street, ShinYeong and I didn't talk at all, when it started to rain a little , the weird thing is that there was the sun.
We didn't bring an umbrella with us. So, to protect ShinYeong I put my two hands above her head. She was staring at me. I looked at her in the eyes and immediatly my heart started to beat really fast, and I started to avoid her eyes.
THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP...
I thought:
"That's incredible...That's really crazy, when you spend more and more time with the person you love, you'll definitely become a weak person...The only person who can make you weak, will make you do everything for her. Moreover, she can make you love her more than today... Your love for this person won't stop to increase...This person who can make me weak is no other than ShinYeong... I've always thought Why Am I like this? Why Am I doing this ? I think I've found the answer: I've fallen deeply in love with Kim ShinYeong... The girl I've first met in the hospital when we were little..."
