8 years later.

Many years have passed, It’s been 8 years: I’ve been married to L.Joe for 4 years now and we had a little girl who was three. Her name was “HanByeol”. I was watching a TV when she wanted to climb up on my lap. She couldn’t do it and whined:

“Umma ~~ !”

I chuckled and carried her , I made her sit on my lap. Then, she pointed at the TV and shouted:

“Appa !” she smiled happily. I looked at the TV and Teen Top had an interview. The MC asked:

“L.Joe , do you remember when you met your first love?”

He looked at the floor shyly and said:

“Of course...Infact, I fell in love twice…”

Everyone gasped and laughed, I mumbled:

“Jerk.”

But he quickly continued with a smile:

“It’s not like that.. I mean, I’ve met my first love in a hospital , she was crying… Even if she cried a lot , she was still pretty to me. We were little back then. And my first love is my lovely wife. I fell in love one more time , when our little daughter, HanByeol appeared in this world.”

The MC said:

“You really love them right ? We can say so , just by looking at you talking about them…”

“Yes, they are everything to me.”

I was still smiling when I felt two little hands cupping my face:

“Umma? Why are you smiling?” She titled her head while asking me this.

I then, hugged her:

“Because I’m so happy to have you, my baby!”

She was giggling and hugged me back.

After that , I remembered that I had to go to a cafe with HanByeol to have some “ family time” with L.Joe.

We, then arrived at the cafe , when Hanbyeol, ran to her dad while shouting happily:

“Appa ~~~~ I missed you !”

L.Joe then kissed HanByeol on her right cheek :

“I missed you too, my little baby.”

We then, sat together, and while eating , L.Joe was holding myhand without letting my right hand go. I sighed:

“Oppa, you can let go of my hand.. I won’t disappear.”

He shook his head:

“No, It’s been almost 48 hours I didn’t see you. I missed you.”

I smiled but I continued:

“Stop it , HanByeol is here.”

He looked at HanByeol and asked:

“HanByeol-Ah, Do you like seeing Appa And Umma like this ?”

She nodded with a smile.

“See ? “ L.Joe winked at me.

I rolled my eyes.

JiHoon and the others joined us and we headed to the cemetery . Infact, it was YuKwon’s birthday today.

I then , heard JiHoon asked HanByeol:

“Byeol-Ah , Who do you prefer between JongUp and I ?”

She pointed at JongUp and ran to him. JiHoon said out loud:

“What ? Do you know how many time I kissed you when you were sleeping when your were a tiny baby ?”

We then, saw YuKwon’s parents , they were smiling but sad inside. We greeted them and YuKwon’s mum said:

“How are you , My lovely daughter?”

I smiled and hugged her. YuKwon’s Dad hugged HanByeol and say:

“Aigo .. My favorite girl,  has grown up really well.”

After YuKwon passed away, his parents decided to consider me as their daughter...

We then, put flowers on YuKwon’s grave. I said in my mind:

“YuKwon-Ah , How have you been doing in heaven ? I miss you… Always remember that you’ll be my first love… I’ll meet you in our next life…and I’ll make sure that we’ll grow old together...As promise.”

HanByeol then asked us:

“Umma, Appa, Who is it ?”

L.Joe bent down and patted her head:

“He’s Uncle YuKwon. He was a great man. After all , it is true to say that the first one who leave this world are the best one. Now, Say Hello to him.”

She then looked up and looked at the sky, she waved her hand and shouted:

“Uncle YuKwon, Annyeong! I’m Lee HanByeol!”

After that, we went back home, It was already the night and HanByeol was sleeping in her bedroom. I was looking at the sky filled with stars when I felt someone back-hugging me : It was L.Joe. He put his head on my right shoulder and asked me:

“Why are you thinking so deeply ?”

I smiled and said:

“I’m just thankful.”

He was confused and said:

“For what?”

I turned around and hugged him, I put my head on his chest:

“I’m thankful to have you by my side, and also HanByeol. I’m thankful to have wonderful friends and parents… I can say, that thanks to you, I was able to survive. Thank you for everything ByungHun-Oppa… You were my hope , back then…”

He hugged me tightly and answered:

“I’m also thankful, Lee ShinYeong…I love you.”

Finally ,"My new hope" has come to an end ! T_T
