Adara opens her eyes from the deep sleep she had and looks at the watch on her wrist. it was 9:30, she rolled her eyes and sat up scratching her head with her messy brown, highlighted hair. she stood up and looked at her mirror, she barely cared about her appearance ''another new day'' she said, she heard her mom call her for breakfast '' coming mom!'' she prepared herself and ran down the stares, the TV was on and French toast with orange juice was laying on the dining table her mom started yelling

'' Ooh! Have you heard!? There’s a lottery to get a scholarship to enter South Korea's most expensive and amazing university! Private Seoul University!!! I’m putting your name in!'' 

'' What mom, no! I don’t want to!'' 

'' Why not! I’m finally able to get you to a proper university! You keep on complaining about all the others! Plus it’s private!''

'' But still! Mom! It’s in Korea! From where will you get me a ticket!''

'' If the ticket is you problem then no worries! They provide you a free ticket to Korea! Since its global!''

'' Mom! No! Don’t do it...'' she yelled

'' Okay fine... I wont now eat your breakfast.. You really disappointed me'' her mother sighed

'' Thank you...'' she sighed with relief and started cutting her French toast with her knife and fork and started eating 

Her mom smiled to herself then said '' honey,  I think I forgot to get the mail, can you get it for me?''

‘‘Mom, I’m eating'' 

'' Now...'' her mom glared at her and she stood up

'' Fine!'' she walked out the room, once she left she dialed a number on her phone ''hello, is this the Seoul university lottery thingy speaking.....I would like to enter the lottery for my 18 year old daughter Adara Williams living in America, oh my number? Its _____.....is it noted? Thank you!'' she quickly hid her phone while Adara walked in

‘‘Mom there's no mail'' 

'' Oh silly me! I forgot I picked them up, sorry Hun''

Adara rolls her eyes and continues eating her breakfast''

Her mom slowly rolled her eyes to Adara '' Hun.. Since you don’t want to enter the lottery can you at least.....watch who would win it tomorrow?''

Adara looked up at her mom with her mouthful and she swallow's '' w.. *gulp* why?'' she looks at her plate and cuts another piece

'' I’ve heard that one of your friends signed up and....i wanted to see if they would win''

‘‘Really? Who is it''

'' I don’t remember!'' she yelled ''just watch it with me!''

‘‘Okay okay fine! Anyway I’m done! jeesh'' she stands up and walks towards the door '' mom I’m leaving okay?'' 

‘‘Okay Hun! Bye''

Adara leaves and once her mom heard the door shut she jumps on the couch holding her phone'' my daughter is going to Korea! Well if she wins..''
