{Daehyun's POV}

I was getting worried when Soojung didn't pick up my calls. I was making my way back to their apartment when I saw her walking infront of me.

I ran to catch up on her but she was fast. I kept on walking and walking and finally grabbed her hand.

"Owww!", I shouted in pain.

She just bit me in the hand and when she realized it was me, she looked apologetic and examined my hand.

Why am I feeling nostalgic? I passed her the bag.

I knew she would forget to get a gift for her Qri noona. She has always been a forgetful girl. I wonder what is going on her mind.

As soon as we reached the front door, those feelings started coming back to me again.

Without thinking, I grabbed her shoulder in ahaste and pulled her to my chest. I wanted to do this since a long time ago and I'm going to regret doing this once I let her go.

The moment Qri's voice was heard, she pushed me away.

"This is the best birthday present ever", I heard Qri say.

Did she thought that we were back together again?

"No unnie, it's not like that", Soojung denied while sneaking a look at me.

Why does it hurt even though she was speaking the truth?

Qri pouted as she pulled her in and I followed them inside.

"Bang Soojung! Why were you late?", I heard Yongguk reprimanding her.

"Stop asking me the same question every single day oppa. I just got caught up with something okay?"

"Unnie, here", she passed the gift to Qri. "It's from Daehyun and me."

"Awww thanks guys! I didn't know both of you were in talking terms. This is great! Maybe you guys–", Yongguk covered before she could finish speaking.

Qri struggled to talk under his grasp. When Yongguk let go, she hitted him.

"Yah! What are you doing? Now my lip gloss is all smeared!"

"It's gonna get smeared again later so why bother?", he winked at her.

"Babe!!", Qri smacked him but Yongguk managed to grab her hand in time and gave her a back hug.

Soojung looked uncomfortable and cleared at the mushy sight.

"I'm going to get changed. Be right back."

{Nobody's POV}

After Soojung got changed, they all sang Qri a birthday song and she finally gets to cut her cake.

Zelo kept stuffing food inside his mouth.

"Zelo! Stop being like a pig. How are you going to get a body like mine if you keep on eating like that?", Jongup stopped him.

"Hyung I'm hungry! Would you please stop bothering me and let me enjoy this food fest?", Zelo demanded and continued eating heartily.

Jongup shook his head. Zelo was out of control.

Soojung was resting on the sofa when she got a text message.

"Did you reached home safely?"

She frowned at the sight of the unknown number. Soojung assumed it must have been Changjo since she had asked L.Joe to pass her number to him.
